I ran a 1 mile race tonight. Last year my time was 8:03 - this year finished in 7:17. I did over a 1 mile warm up but will guess conservatively and go for a total of 2 miles today.

3 miles today, not going to hit my target this month as off to Spain on a 2 week vacation from Saturday and no time to run tomorrow.

    MTD 39 miles.

Corriander, please keep me on the spread sheet and I will go for 60 miles in August.

Good luck everyone on reaching your July targets.

That's a big improvement over a year's time! Nicely done!

I'm at 52 miles for the total month!

Only 9 miles this week so far. I wasn't feeling too well this week but I am determined to make it as close as possible to 105 this month!

What are you doing to treat it? I have some experience with IT Band issues.

Coming in late, but I'd like to do 25 miles by the end of July! I have 11 days left to do it. It's doable! Anyone on here use Nike Running? I need Nike+ friends.

I'd like to get in on this one if possible. Goal of 100 miles, and at 66 for the month so far. If I have to wait till August since I'm so late, that's fine. Shooting for a half in October, so I got many miles to travel.

Thanks. These cramps are like nothing I've had before. This is the third day that I can hardly walk. I'll have to go pickup a foam roller.

Thanks. I am really happy. Next year under 7 for sure! But OMG that race hurts. I'd rather do 10k race than race a mile.

    7/16: 6 miles
    7/18: 6 miles
    7/20: 12 miles

    That's 24 miles this week

That's 70 miles total. Which puts me at my goal. I guess I erred on the side of too much caution. Can I bump my goal up to 85, just to give me some more motivation?

    3 mile run in 31:18, Avg Pace 10:26, Splits 10:49 - 10:22 - 10:07, 95F, DP 68, Sunny

Hot one today. Had no set plan, other than to run. Went out faster than usual, and kept getting faster. So, turned into an easy 3 mile run. I could have done more miles, but still working my way back in to the flow. It feels good to be able to say that 3 miles is easy :D Got new running gear and tried some of it out; a Headsweats Go Hat White/Black and a Brooks Mens Equilibrium Sleeveless Spring 2012. Both worked out great.

Saw the usual ducks and lizards. Not much else, was in the zone most of the time.

    WTD3: 5.4
    MTD: 81.4

i've heard that dill pickle juice works wonders for cramps... don't know if it would work for you but it might be worth a try?
