Can't find a food scale that does these simple things!!
It's been years I have been using a food scale but unfortunately I can't find one that does the following: Usually when you are weighing food you have a plate in which you keep it not a bowl or so. The plate will hide the reading and when you take the plate off the reading will disappear. So I used to put a bowl on the…

Go to quick meals?
Hello, I usually get off work pretty late and always struggle with figuring out a quick and healthy meal. I usually end up grabbing fast food. Does anyone have go-to meals that are easy to cook and don’t take a lot of time?

What Do You Do With Cassava Bread?
found this low cal crispy stuff on the bread aisle at the international grocery. For 30 calories a serving (a little more than a third of a thin sheet) I figured it was worth experimenting with. Surely, it couldn’t have any less flavor than “low cal” Wasa bread. 😬 The lady at checkout says in her country they soak cassava…

Going out for Ice Cream tonight made me realize..
it seems true what I’ve heard.. giving a food addict something that is considered “Junk Food” is like giving someone in rehab a taste of a drug that they are trying to recover from. i wanted to hear y’all’s opinion on this and i know it can be different for everyone. At 7pm I was invited to go out for ice cream after…

Marathon Training - Help Getting Started
Hello, I am training for the NYC marathon and just downloaded MyFitnessPal so I can start tracking meals to ensure I'm eating enough food each day and the right kind of foods while training. I've never ran a marathon before and if I'm being honest, not much of a runner in general so I've never tracked food like this other…

For the love of Produce...
I’ve been a produce *kitten* for years and years. My ‘Apple thing’ is notorious among friends and family. That’s the one enduring phase (current obsessions are Koru, Pacific Rose, and HoneyBee apples)- in addition to my squash fixation (kabocha, mostly, but a well roasted spaghetti squash also makes me swoon.) I love…

Cheap weight loss (non ingredient) foods
I am having a trouble finding good tasting snacks and foods that are low cals that aren’t just protein bars or the saddest looking food I have seen. I am very much a snacking over meal person and until I get into the habit of eating meals instead, I need at least a healthy option!! I’ve only lost 10 pounds in the several…

The new layout looks terrible, its format is untidy and doesn’t show all of the key information that was included in the original format. Please change it back.

How much do you worry about fat grams?
Hello, MFP Friends! I'm wondering how much you pay attention to fat content in the food you eat. I enjoy several of the Jimmy Dean Delight breakfast Egg'wiches, but was surprised to discover that the variety I bought most recently has 19 grams of fat per sandwich (260 calories and 15 grams of protein). I hadn't even looked…

Fix the incorrect food item with the proper CALORIES associated to the particular food product.
Please look into updating specific foods with their correct, proper listed calories as on the Nutrition panel of the product. Quick High Protein Snacks
I am having a hard time meal planning preps. I’ll eat my planned lunches but then I’m going to cabinets and pantry and snacking out of bags. It’s a true problem, I know. Why did the app drop my base calories by 290 after a 3 lb increase?
I'm just coming off a planned maintenance break and getting back into a deficit. Previously, my base calories were 1490 with a rate of 1.5 lbs lost per week. (I have a medical reason for aiming for a higher rate, please don't come after me lol.) I maintained for 5 weeks at about 2500 calories on average. Yesterday I…

Cheese Admiration and Celebration
On another thread, there was a multi-person request for a thread devoted to cheese, for those of us who love it. Yes, it's calorie dense, though some types more than others. Personally, I love it anyway. So, please discuss: * Which is your favorite cheese? * Do you have a special way of using/eating cheese? Great recipe or…
