One mistake leads to a binge?
I find that after one little mistake, like an extra cookie or something, I go on an all out binge (meaning 500 extra calories of food). This is totally unhealthy but I don't know how to stop. Any mantras or ways of thinking that have helped you guys?

When I have more calories, I eat worse
When I only have a hundred calories left, I eat a piece of fruit. When I have 300 calories, I eat candy. Now that I'm in maintenance mode and can eat so much more, I'm eating less healthy food. I know there's nothing wrong with candy now and then but it would be good to have the apple first.
