New to nutrition know-how
trying to stay within my calorie allowance and still hit my nutrient goals. Not as simple as I thought it would be. It’s easy to cut calories but I want to be healthier, not just skinnier. I love all the helpful insights from the app. I just switched from LoseIt. I should have been using this one all along.

Hello, It's been a few years but turning 65 soon and failing health, I'm back. I paid for premium as an additional incentive to better myself. Hoping to not have to take the cholesterol meds ordered and lower my A1c. Its a challenge and time consuming to track but it really helps me to make better choices.

Exercises vs steps
If MyFitnessPal already tracks calories burned from my daily steps, and I did a 45-minute walk at 4.5 mph on my walking pad, should I still log that workout separately under exercise? Or would that be double-counting?

Can't update calorie goal
