I am a freak who loves plain tap water. I don't want my drink messing with my food's flavour. But this probably isn't a surprise coming from Spam 'hold the sauce' Marie.

I like tap water too. Maybe our water tastes better?

I also like tap water, and I prefer it to not be ice cold unless it's during/after a work out.

Confession- my 10-year-old nephew is spending the night tonight with my son. I'm going to hide out in my hot tub with an adult beverage (that I logged and made fit my macros).

Did you have a good time?

Holy crap is this guy for real? His voice is amazing! For those of you in England is Tom Bleasby a huge star over there? This is what the radio needs nowadays. I somehow happened upon this performance on the Smule karaoke app then had to Google him since I realized he had released a single.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QYbfDpy6lY

The lady in the video is also talented, but the guy's voice blew me away.

I found him on Spotify & he has two singles that I added to my playlist to listen to later.

I confess that I am afraid to ask Taylor about myself because I don't remember what all I have confessed here.

    Hahahahaha

I will say, Taylor, that is quite an impressive recall you have!

She does! Some days when I weigh a food within two seconds I can't even remember how much it had weighed LOL.

Confession: I am currently trying something dietary that scares the kittens right out of me but something has to give. Also I took a progress photo earlier since I hadn't in a while- kind of feeling like I ran an unintentional bulk, only running 80-100k a week instead of progressive overload programming...only that isn't a thing lol. Oh my brains -_- !

Different carb threshold approach basically. I want to see if running my current training load could theoretically keep me floating in and out of ketosis on an increased carb macro. I don't want to eff up so bad I have to re- fat adapt before Banff because there is no.goddamn.time. but I also need to balance that with the speed goals I need to hit in June (really hoping to Boston qualify this season). Me and carbs are not a great combo historically so I have to keep a tight lid on it.

Ditto. But I haven't managed to get to the fat-adapted stage. Something always crops up that puts me over. With Easter coming up this weekend I'm not even going to bother. I'll keep it between 50-100g but there is no way of getting into keto.

Also, if you and @Oberon21 both get into Boston you SO have to meet up!

    ETA Wrong Oberon :#

Confession: I took my last anti-anxiety pill this morning, tomorrow I am going to be officially unmedicated for the first time in just over two years. I'm one part excited and one part terrified.

Best of luck. My folders and toes are crossed for you to stay off of them.

Auto correct wins again! Unless Mel is really gong to cross her folders :p

There are enough of them at my desk to do that, but I did mean fingers. Earlier today I sent my husband a text and it corrected something to "lifting chicken"

Lifting chickens would be very hard.... ;)

I had a mental picture of the chicken trying to deadlift, actually.

Oh I had a picture in my head of a chicken replacing the dumbells.

Oh no! Is your shoulder ok?

    HUGZ!!!

Tender AF right now (icing and advil going right now), I'm talking with my coach right now to see what our plan of attack is going to be now.

Oh fuuuuuuuuuuck. I really hope you get better Victoria. Lots of (careful) hugs right now.

A guy at work was telling me how he waited for a shuttle for an hour for a 3/4 mile trip to his hotel, and then how he was using the elevator to go down 2 floors, and I judged him...

How much luggage did he have? Definitely judging the elevator down two floors though.

The shuttle was to and from a casino, so no luggage. For the elevator ride, it was just him carrying a notebook. Yes, of course, anyone could be disabled, but that wasn't my impression. That is why I shared this observation in this forum, as to not get judged for being judgmental ;)

    Touche.

Wow, I don't think I have space for both. But if I did, I would do that too.

I don't watch reality shows, so I've never heard of him. I'm at work so I can't play it, but I'll take your word for it. :)

What are you trying? I think you sensible enough to know what is good for your body. Therefore when you say I'm doing something to my diet that scares me, something wants to scream please don't!
