Hey everyone! Trying to stay motivated, so here I go:

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Just getting back on track today
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? No, ate granola bar and milk in the middle of the night, this will end today
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? ate properly for most of the day
What would I have done differently? not eaten that granola bar
What is today's personal goals? watch my food intake, staying at 1200 calories and not eat in the middle of the night tonight

    Sun- nothing
    Mon - nothing
Tues - Crossfit Syle workout with trainer (15 minutes) and 30 minutes on treadmill
    Wed - Spinning 60 minutes
Thurs - Crossfit workout and 30 minutes treadmill
    Fri - Spinning 60 minutes
Sat- 3 mile walk with boyfriend

My weakness is consistency and planning ahead with my busy schedule. I also give in to peer pressure with sweets and carbs and have trouble exercising self control. Also, emotional eating gets me in trouble. I would like to switch to another outlet to cheer me up when sad or angry. Would love to switch it to exercise. I am open to any suggestions any of you have to offer.

I realize that completely cutting all sweets out of my diet will be much easier. I can't do just a little because it turns on a switch for me, like a waterfall of bad food choices! Want my calendar girl body back!! Before I turn 40!! ha ha ha

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Ate well. Cooked up some chicken breasts and cut them in strips to freeze for future easy use. Signed up for a gym membership w/personal trainer!!!
What would I have done different? Done some actual exercise, but was fairly "active" throughout the day.
What is today's personal goals? Don't eat exercise calories (unless net is under 1200) First appointment with trainer.

GW at the end of the Summer 9/22: I want to be at 245 lbs.

Mon - Lots of "activity" (gardening, housework ect) but no real exercise
Sun- Shopping again (Fitbit - 8,173 Steps for the day)
Sat - 8 hrs shopping (Fitbit - 5,680 Steps for the day)
Fri - checkout out a gym and did a lot of walking around during the intro
Thurs - 22 min walk with dogs
Wed - Seat dancing, walked around while at rest stops
    Tues - Nothing :-(

Can someone let me know if what I am doing with my cals is a good "plan"?
I am allowed 1800 cals to lose 1lb/week. I wanted to make my goal small and attainable. Typically I am eating 1400-1600 cals a day. When I exercise IF my net cals go below 1200 I eat more to bring it to that point to avoid "starvation mode". (ie... I eat 1800 cals but have burned 700 cals during the day, net cals would be 1100... I would eat another 100 cal or so to at least bring me to 1200) Does this seem like a reasonable plan?

If I were you, I would stay closer to 1400-1600 net and see how that goes. Your body may need those calories to fuel the exercise.

    Thanks for answering so quick!
Just so I understand what you meant, in my example, instead of just eating an extra 100 cals to bring me up to 1200 net, I should eat 300-500 to bring me up to 1400-1600 net?

Yes, exactly. I'm just concerned that you might not be fueling your body enough at 1200 net.

My daughter is working at school so I wasn't going to see her this summer but she got a week and a free ticket so we picked her up from the airport and then my son who is studying for the bar and went to a 24 hour restaurant. I had a slice of pie but I was hungry. I did actually well all day. I don't think my fitbit picked up the cleaning I did very well so I don't think I was as bad as it looks. My steps weren't bad though. I had a job interview in the morning so actually not as bad a day as it looks. having a good morning too. I may be a bit light on here this week but will be logging.
