Wow, what a ride! (That's almost double my longest-ever one-day ride of 137 mi/220.48 km, and that was 21 years ago.) Bummer about the tooth; I hope that's fixed and your pain is relieved soon. I lost a bad tooth to a nut cluster 30-odd years ago, but not in the middle of an endurance event!

21.35 + 50 calisthenics + 40 minutes walking the dog.
I didn't calculate correctly earlier today. My bad.

Thanks!
I started doing events like this back in 2001, and met my husband on a 1200K in France in 2003. We haven't done much of it lately so it's good to get back into it again.
I was hoping that we could do it under 24 hours, but given the circumstances, an extra 45 minutes isn't too bad. And I've made a dental appointment.

Aug 13 - 408 km cycling (1485 min) ... no, that's not a typo. My husband and I rode a 400 km randonnee starting at 7 am on Saturday 13 August and finishing 24 hours and 45 minutes later. I have the story almost ready to post to my blog, but essentially ...
We've been training for this for the past two months and chose this particular one because it fit in our schedules and was relatively flat. We started strongly, but at the 200 km point, I broke a tooth (the tooth was in questionable condition to begin with) which made the remaining 200 km a little more challenging than I had hoped. Breathing through my mouth was painful, so I was reduced to breathing through my nose. And eating was painful, so I ran rather low on energy. I was hoping to finish within 24 hours, but I guess an extra 45 minutes wasn't too bad.
We rolled into the start location at 7:45 am on Sunday.
Aug 15 - 0.5 km walking (7 min) ... airport.
Aug 16 - 3 km walking (35 min) ... to the beach and back to stretch things out.
