Oh OK! I can see how this is good. A little rough last week with a trip to Boston. Way too many food choices to stay right. Came home Thursday and buckled down knowing that Monday was judgement day. Big Breakfast this AM after weigh in to celebrate but, beautiful day in Maine and going out now to chop wood. That should eat those calories up. All things considered not a bad week, helps to keep me focused on the prize.

This is going to get more challenging as I go. 3 weekends of fun travel (2 college football games and girls weekend) and a 3 day music festival. How am I going to do this? I find it pretty easy during the week but the weekends are tough. Even though I am staying within my calories, I am drinking and logging it but I am sure this slows down the weight loss. And its still so dang hot here - the running is killing me 😒. I am going to work hard during the week, drinks lots of water and try to plan my weekend food.

So far, the steroids haven't hurt me, and they made the pain go away, so that's a good thing.
I was able to increase my arm/back weights today after 6 weeks at the same, so that felt amazing, and I'm down a pound!!

A good enough week. Food prep was mainly on point. Only got one strenght work out in, had aimed for two, but life got in the way, but walked to work most days - even if i did get soaked to the skin a number of times. Will aim to bench on Wednesday, dead lift on Friday and squat on Sunday - I always feel better for a solid strength session.9 -
@ibamford82 have you tried recipes that incorporate mushrooms, eggplant, and green peppers? I’ve heard these three can really mimic meat in certain recipes. Its more a template than a recipe. My favourite - sweet potato, butter beans, leek, thyme, smoked paprika, stock+white wine. But work with what you like to eat + have in the house.
- I've replaced meat with lentils - so bolognaise sauce with lentils. I'd think cottage pie would go down well with children.
- Aubergine + lentil curry https://www.food.com/recipe/red-lentil-and-aubergine-eggplant-curry-205101
I also add tomato puree, or maybe passata/tin of tomatoes.

Never thought of replacing meat with lentils, that opens up the options. We’re very lucky as our children are very good and not fussy at all so will try some of your suggestions this week!2 -

Goal 1: Go out Dancing (I LOVE dancing and haven't been out in months!)
Goal 2: Try some more advanced classes to up my exercise routine
Goal 3: Sign up for winter weekly swimming classes with my local community ed
Goal 4: I have a work conference coming up in Oct and I will be flying staying out of town for 5 nights - my goal is to have meals planned that don't require cooking and I can pick up at the grocery store while there (taking suggestions!!)
