@eleanorhawkins don’t apologize, it’s a strange world to all of us right now and we all doing the best we can – I’m sorry about your great Aunt. I don’t think everyone realizes how hard this is for our young people, it’s scary for them, so much has changed and they have zero control. I think a lot of people are looking back at “colds” or other things they had a few months back wondering what it was now. I wouldn’t let a soul in my house to do a random test you just don’t know who it is.
@bearly63 I hear the new saying is April Distance bring May Existence

    Well said!

@PastorVincent yep it only stung for a moment in the shower. I put a little vasseline on it just for a bit of protection, as I kinda don't have a choice but to wear bras, and it's a lot less sore now, but still noticeable. Of all places to get it, grrr and sigh.

I knew that bra was coming to the end of its life but its so expensive - around $35usd - I definitely use them till I have no choice hahaha.

Sunny, mid 30s F with a little light breeze out of the southwest today. Legs felt heavy, which is a sure sign I'm skimping on my rest days. Energy level was low, and motivation was even lower.

You are an incredible group of people (and pets). Stay safe and stay well.

When you pop in here claiming your December 2020 mileage, what accomplishments will you have made?

Return to a good running weight of 175 lbs
Run at least 4 5k races
    Get a 5k PR
Average at least 138k per month, to meet my Run the Year pledge of 1,020 miles
Stretch goal: If I can average 169k per month, I can run 2020K in 2020

Run the Year Team: Pavement Pounders

    2020 races:

5-23 Race for the Parks 5k, Hudson OH
6-20 Freedom Run 5k, Aurora, OH

@brittanystebbins95 great 5k with your super adorable running buddies. That new harness must be awesome!

@Camaramandy648 good luck on your 10k today! And I've heard some not so great things about Oiselle's Team Volee as a community (kind of elitist, snobby). Sounds to me like it's not worth the money but I suppose it's all what you are willing to put into it.

I wanted to get my long run over and done with early. I ran from my house into the state park on the trails, a little bit along the canal and then looped back home. My legs were heavy and my feet sore from yesterday's trail run so this felt pretty rough. I was hoping to get closer to 10 miles again but I didn't have it in me. But I'm glad to have it done. I'm at 18.4 miles for this week's marathon goal, so I just need 7.8 miles over the next 3 days (weeks start on Wednesday).

I saw in my facebook memories that a year ago I was running in San Diego. Looked way nicer than my run today. :)
