Well mailed middle son their Christmas box. Cards sent. House decorated.
Yesterday I got the best box ever! My eldest sister, bless her heart, sent me a new recipe book with plastic pages to put the recipe cards in, dividers etc. She filled out our families favorite recipes, and she included a framed recipe of lemon squares all grimy in our mothers handwriting. I had just mentioned in our last conversation that I had misplaced my Betty Crocker cookbook and recipe box, so I didn't have some of the sweets I wanted to bake this month. I had told her to take a photo of the "Hello Dolly" bars for me. So she did this.💖. It was so touching, along with the framed recipe card, and Christmas card, I just cried. Happy blessed tears! Family is the best sometimes.😁💖🤗

The framed card I put by my coffeemaker so I can see it every day.💖. Yes my Keurig coffee maker has been sticker-fied! The numbers are when I have descaled it.👍🏼

Tina - MFP has a 300 - 400 deficit built in to the recommendation of a calorie allowance. You are supposed to eat back your exercise calories. Otherwise you will be hungry and binge eat. Judging how much you are burning is not simple, but doable. I always ate back my exercise calories and lost 57 pounds.
Nowdays I am content to be overweight and believe it is better for older women. I don't weigh myself, or count my calories any more. I love it. I exercise every single day for at least 75 minutes, and eat very healthily. I drink too much alcohol. Oh well. Life's too short.

So just upstairs balancing the checkbook. To the penny! Why does it give me such joy to calculate, and put that oval with a line thru it in the checkbook? I am easily amused.😂
Today is a meal of Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza. I might get one with pineapple and Canadian bacon.
Today I am updating my new calendar for 2024. Its a pretty one with Japanese wood block prints. I have 1 pen pal to write. My favorite pen pal with the unreadable loopy cursive. I am getting really good at reading her letters though! I've been writing her since 2018, so we do have history.💖. I really only have 11 pen pals currently. Slowly weeded out ones that haven't written in 6 months. Its definitely a hobby you have to care enough to keep up with. I realize life can get in the way, and its totally understandable. I appreciate that they take the time to write, and I reciprocate in kind. Some send me handmade bookmarks, good quality stickers, or packets of tea. Anything flat.👍🏼 Some color pretty pictures for me, and I have saved them in a binder.💖. Being a pen paller calls to the arts & crafts in me.

Stunk on ice at making my goals this month.
- ✖️Be lighter - I have not been successful at trying to inch back down under 150 to get back to 145-150 maintenance weight. Was at 153 on Oct 1, Nov. 1, and 153 this morning. I'm pretty sure my body wants to be between 150 and 155, and I may not have a choice.
- ✖️Stick to budget - Not even close. Might as well have taken that budget outside and set it on fire. Again. I end up calling it "the summer room" when Corey and I are gabbing - but whatever you call it, it's a major budget buster! I've redone our budget to accommodate a car payment for a bit, too.
- ✖️Be healthy - I have not been able to stay ahead of the pain today, much like a lot of November. I have an appointment with an acupuncturist next week. This should be interesting. Can't believe the VA is willing to pay for it.
But, because hope springs eternal... my goals for December are;- Be lighter
- Stick to budget
- Be healthy

Does anyone watch "Unsellable Houses" on HGTV? Lesley and Lindsey live here in Snohomish where DD and I live. In fact their company is who we worked with to buy this place.
Everyone take care, Sue in WA
I love watching Unsellable Houses. I started watching BECAUSE it is in Snohomish. Love checking out the little antique places there when we would go visit my aunt in Lake Stevens. Not sure if/when we will be back up there. My aunt passed away and my friend from junior high that lived in Bothell now lives in AZ. I do have two cousins that still live up there.2 -
Little boy on his way to daycare this morning.
I got enterntainer in the test..hmm interesting

Have a neighbor that is all hyped up,and couldn't find a cord to charge her phone,i have a gazillion of them around,so I gave her one,and she was beyond thrilled.so my good deed done for the day..
Dan wore one of his new coats to work and ripped it..4 -
Allie - I think that's a perfect analysis of you, a spontaneous spirit if there ever was one. I've yet to see one that I thought wasn't right for any of us. I like the conversations that can start from these analyses... but then I would, being a Logician!3

Your jewellery tree is wonderful Rebecca. So many memories. What a great thing to do.
Soooo cold here at the moment. I am debating leaving the heat on overnight. We normally turn it off. Heat is so expensive right now, we limit the hours we run it.
Love to all, Heather UK xxxxxxxx3 -
Rebecca - I love the jewelry tree, both lit and unlit, as well as the key! What a lovely thing. Also love your Hokusai calendar. His seascapes, in particular, have always made me happy.4

Lanette https://www.overdrive.com/media/2100342/one-small-step-can-change-your-life
Available for free from our library, yours might offer too, the reading app is “Libby” and the library/collection website is overdrive.com.
Kylia the wait for prescriptions is crazy but becoming situation normal. I’ve always avoided the mail-order options for medicare part D, but am considering this year as the prescriptions might arrive faster direct from them than from a distribution center to our local pharmacy (one of two in town ;{ ). SMH. Wonder if hospital emergency rooms have supplies? Amazed you trust your SIL with your medical power of attorney, that she is the best possible choice. Ouch.
Beth con VERY grats on the 2.5 lbs gone gone gone!
Tina please do do something for yourself with your “me time” and that does NOT include cleaning.
