Cleaned out our van Friday- big mistake. The cold air brought back my cold quicker than ever! Grr. Had a good weekend anyway though.

Happy Valentine's Day. Does anyone have special plans? We don't celebrate it for us but I am having a Valentines Day themed fun day for the kids.

I did not get back to the gym this weekend due to circumstances I was unable to avoid but back tonight for spin class. I have averaged 5 hours sleep the past 3 nights so hoping to settle into bed around 9 tonight for some catch up, I am glad spin is early so I can come home and relax a bit afterwards. Hope you are all having a great day!

Me and bf don't celebrate V-day. It's nothing special to us. I'll be making taco's with turkey burger tonight and hopefully working out with daughter before an early bedtime with some nyquill. Fun fun fun!

    Woohoo Yollie!

All signs are pointing to me going back to bed. I forgot to bring up my multi grain Cherrios last night and they are in the pantry downstairs so if I go get them I will wake up the puppy who's crate is close by and not get a peaceful breakfast so I had honey nut (which turns out is too sweet for me now), my almond milk is gone and I forgot to get more so I had to have cows milk- yuck, and I still put blueberries on my cereal and they do not mix with honey nut. Well maybe all signs were pointing to PB and J on toast, but I would rather go back to bed
  • HOpe everyone has a wonderful day. thinking about going to walmart after work and getting an eliptical, i like to eat too much and need to burn some extra off. just debating if it will fit in my car or not.

Hi all ... hope your day is going well. It feels like a new beginning for me. I've been on antibiotics for a couple of weeks and they've wreaked havoc on my intestines. I had my last one yesterday, my sinus infection seems to be gone, I had a few treatments on my feet, and have been fitted for some orthotics. So now ... starting today ... I'm back to a normal healthy eating schedule. The specialist said I won’t do any damage to my feet by exercising so I’ll try a step class DVD tonight. Woo Hoo!!

Yea same here. I lost like 40 lbs not exercising but then I didn't have enough calories to eat the food I wanted. Had to make a sacrifice somewhere.

Going to the city pool tonight and then Elliptical during Glee later. Damn girl scout cookies.... :grumble:

You never know- plus if you have to buy one off CL it's still cheaper. One mans junk is another mans treasure! We've gotten a lot of stuff off there. Like toys and such for daughter.

I kicked calorie BUTT yesterday! I don't know what came over me. I was just THERE.

So bad news though. I lost another bra size. Had to measure myself and I'm down to a small B. I knew they were swimming in my bra but I was hoping it was because it was a 38C and I needed a 34C or something cool. But no. Bf is taking it much better than expected   but I'm not thrilled. Gonna go get officially measured soon though.
  • I was worried about that! hasnt happened yet... and now it will since i said that. LoL.

So, i did the biggest loser last chance workout last night, and dont know how to put it on here.... any clue?

and i looked on there, none are close to me. But im still gona look, the one at walmart is almost $300, and some on cl arent too too far away. will have to get jeffs opinion

    AND OMG
i get to book my honeymoon this weekend!!!!!!!!       so freakin excited!!!!!

Mine were a DD when I started. C is what I've always been so it stands to reason that I'd lose there- but still. Bleh.

Maybe General aerobics? You need a heart rate monitor. If you get one- get it with the chest strap. I have a Reebok precision. I got it off Ebay for $40. MUCH cheaper than the Polar ones. (Though I hear those are amazing.) I actually got 2 so bf could use one but he doesn't. lmao Punk.

Yea- if it's cheaper at Walmart or even close- I'd just get a new one. Here they're selling them away like candy!

AWESOME! I'm so jealous! Bf and I are celebrating 5 years this year so we'll be booking some kind of trip in Nov. I can't WAIT! It doesn't feel like 5 years but then it feels like 10.

Saw the doc yesterday for this chest/head cold since just when I think I’m on the mend it changes its mind...lol... so she prescribed antibiotics since my sinuses might be infected now. Right now I have to sleep sitting up and can’t talk for more than a few minutes at a time or it sets off a severe coughing fit but at least the silver lining is that the Nasonex seems to be working well on the constant inflammation I get in my sinuses and I am not stuffed up to the point where I can’t breathe through my nose. Yay. Take the victories where you can.

And I finally got my thyroid medication straightened out last week so that is helping with the weight loss now. Double Yay.

Rambling here now but for some reason I just don’t seem to be able to pronounce the word antibiotics right... it’s so weird. I know how it is pronounced and say right in my head but when I speak it, I say antee-bee-yotics for some reason unless I really concentrate on the word and speak it slowly which I then sound totally whacked to anyone listening to me...lol. Just thought I’d throw that in there for no real reason.

Take care and I hope everyone is doing well. I will be catching up on posts today since I am off work again.

Datenshi- Hope you are feeling better soon. Maybe call it medication!

Nessa- mine have shrunk to non existent status so be happy with your B. Seriously my 13 years old is bigger than me now

Blue- I agree with Nessa, I love my HRM. You may want to try one, it is the best way to determine an accurate burn. Also read reviews on the elliptical from Walmart there are a lot of cheap brands out there. Just because it looks the same doesn't mean it will function the same or have the same life. You may be better with a higher end second hand than a low end first hand.
  • very good advice  i will have to look into that :flowerforyou:

I love the people on this site for their words of wisdom and their insight. It was kindly brought to my attention that just because I can't use my feet right now ... I can swim. Why didn't I think of that? I was just too focused on what I couldn't do instead of what I could do. I plan of visiting the pool at my gym soon. Thanks AGAIN to this wonderful site for your help. I love it here.

I love this site tooo! So much!

Today should be really nice out so I'm hoping I'll get a lot of energy from the uv rays and such. Missed my workout yest because I went to bed at 9. Had a fight with bf and just decided to sleep on it instead of dwell on it. I hate going to bed mad but it was a dooooozy!

Double workout planned today! Hopefully bf actually does it too. He said he would.
  • Nessa- hope everything works out with you 2, it def sucks to go to bed mad.

    Happy Thursday!!

Meh- we're over it today. It's just frustrating. I suppose it's natural to fight when you live with someone. It's just annoying when I think things should be done one way and since I'm the only one doing it I figure he doesn't really get a choice in it. lmao

Holy Crap!!! I seriously find it fascinating how quickly one can gain weight but how slowly it seems to go away. I'm up 4 lbs this week. Well earned I must admit. I wasn't even going to report it ... I thought ... just say you stayed the same ... but then who am I fooling? Not admitting something doesn't mean it didn't happen. Here's to a better week this week.

    LW 199 lbs
    CW 203 lbs
  • LoL, last week, i really thought about not saying, and i was like, ya know.. your on there for a reason, admit it and work towards getting it off next week  the gain still sucks though. makes ya feel like crap. lol.
  • And for this week..

    lw 134
    cw 132.8
    gw 120

    :flowerforyou: happy friday everyone!
