Mix 1 part peanut butter with 2 parts fat free vanilla greek yogurt. Delicious...use it as a dip for graham crackers, apples, pretzels...you decide0

Make sure you guys are eating natural peanut butter and not stuff with all the added sugar. Find one that only lists peanuts as the ingredients. I eat PC Organics Smooth Peanut Butter0

I prefer organic almond butter, but understand your dilema with the calories. I only eat 1 tbsp day max and only if I run/walk that day. As soon as I get back from the run/walk I grab my portion on a spoon and take my time enjoying it. You are after all suppose to have protein within 20 minutes of working out. There is protein in almond butter so I'm doing something good!
I used to love peanut butter but Marantha's organic almond butter is AMAZING!!!!! I never looked back.0 -
this is so cute!!0 -
my favorite thing is a slice of whole grain bread, 1 tbsp pb, half a banana sliced on top, and if I have enough calories... drizzle of honey mmmmmmm0

I use PB2 for my protein shakes, and 1 tablespoon of regular pnut butter on toast in the a.m.. You can also mix the PB2 with water and use that as you wish. Much lower in fat and calories!! You are welcome to view my diary if you wish, I know one tablespoon of regular pnut butter doesn't seem like much, but it does actually satisfy the craving. Just try cutting your portion in half for a while. You might find that doing so works!0

I LOVE peanut butter and have it most days on toast for either lunch or breakfast. I just have 1 tablespoon though (15g approx) and thats 90cals! A little is enough to curb the cravings!
I stick to one tablespoon as well. Its just enough!0 -

I take a tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter and dip some fresh strawberries in it. It's crunchy/salty/sweet and so goooddddd. It satisfies a dessert craving easily.0 -

Just today tried PB2. It was good. It is a powder, you mix 2 tbsp pb2 powder with 1tbsp water. I tried both regular and the one w/chocholate--both were good. Get this--2 tbsp are 45 calories. I also loooove peanut butter. I have had a pb&j sandwich on sandwich thins and had a vegtable. That will keep you within your calorie quota for the day. I just cannot overeat the pb-which is exactly what I would love to do. So tonight, I toasted a sandwich thin, mixed up a chocolate pb2 and regular pb2 spread each one on a sandwich thin. This proves to me, that I am really trying to stick with the program, make some comprimises and keep on going.:flowerforyou:0

If you have Trader Joes near you, check out Better'n Peanut Butter. It is all natural, 85% less fat, low sodium, made with real peanuts and get this... ONLY 100 CALORIES FOR 2 TABLESPOONS!!!! I add 1 tbsp to my steel cut oatmeal to stretch the flavor and satisfaction. Sometimes, I also add 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder and 2 tsp brown sugar and I call it my Snickers bar oatmeal. It is a great 250 calorie breakfast, packs a lot of flavor and I am satisfied till lunch.:bigsmile:0

Step One: Wash hands with soap. Make sure to wash underneath fingernails.
Step Two: Dry hands with clean towel.
Step Three: Unscrew peanut butter jar.
Step Four: Use index finger on left hand to get a nice glob.
Step Five: USe index finger on right hand to get a nicer glob.
Step Six: EAT PEANUT BUTTER while trying not to touch anything.
Step Seven: Return to Step one (make sure to wash thouroughly and DONT TOUCH ANYTHING!!)
Repeat as necessary... but it's important not to contaminate the jar of deliciousness!!! not too much anyway.0 -
i only eat it rarely due to its calorie density, but when i do have it, i usually spread a tablespoon of low fat pb on a banana. it's very good; even better if the banana is refrigerated.0
