Did this thread die and no one tell me.....WHERE IS EVERYONE??????????????
Ok, I just thought of a new snack I tried this week. (Mary, you would NOT like this! ) I sliced a banana, and then dipped it in some of my Dark Chocolate Dreams peanut butter. Yummmm. I also made a new salsa snack. I was wanting some salsa, but had run out of my homemade tortilla chips:cry: . So I decided to take one of the regular tortillas, put some sour cream on it, then spread my new favorite store bought salsa on it. Hit the spot!

In the 5 different kinds of peanut butter that I consider the minimum stock for my cupboard, there is no Dark Chocolate Dreams. I bet you are surprised. (I did have White Chocolate Wonderful for breakfast, though!)

Okay, you have probably been able to tell by my lack of posts that I have been very busy this week, but I have been lurking when I catch a few minutes. Today while I was swimming (and might I add that I achieved my goal for the month there today - 1/3 of mile, half crawl and half breaststroke, in 35 minutes! Took me a year to get there. Now my new goal is to up the crawl to 2/3 of my laps.), anyway, I was thinking of what to do to get off of this plateau that is starting to drag me down. My new plan: Very honestly log every bite and taste that goes in my mouth, and lighten up to let myself eat some of my exercise calories if I want them. I will also try to increase my protein, and if I end the day above my goal of 1450 calories for the day, I will exercise in some form for 30 minutes either before I go to bed, or early the next morning. This will be in addition to the minimum of 5 weekly 30 minute sessions that I am striving for. I'm counting on all of you to help by holding me accountable! Today was easy, as I burned 900 calories. I pledge to do this at least until you see 75 pounds lost on my ticker. Thanks for being here for me! Here's to smart choices!

Well the week was worse than advertized. DD was sick most of the week, but started feeling better yesterday finally. So of course, this morning DS is running a fever. DH stayed home with Ruth, so it's my turn to stay home with Ray. I still have to go to work tonight to lead the pep band for the homecoming game. I will get in at least one workout while Ray is napping, so I guess that is a bonus for the day! I hope everyone else is having a better morning than I am so far!

    Good morning!

Today is weigh in day! I was afraid I wouldn't do so well this week. I had a really stressful week and missed 2 days of work outs. I didn't do too bad. I'm down another 1.2lbs and another 2 inches gone. I'm pretty excited about that. Everyone have a great day!

I'm here, too, and I've been reading the posts, I just haven't had anything to report so... I did successfully get my all my water in plus some every single day this week and exercised 6 days. My personal goal for this next week is to really watch my sodium intake and be under every day on it.

Morning all! I've been so on track this week and the scale is showing. I'm down 3 lbs since I started back on Monday. But the weekend is coming and that is where I usually fall off the wagon, so I just need to stay motivated. I need to get back until 160 and then I know I get down the scale from there.

well, a couple of late nights in a row. and although i stayed in my calories for the day, exercised & had more than 64 oz of water each day; i did eat some after 9pm and it does seem to make a difference, blast it :grumble: . So, my weight is actually up a pound today from what is was on Wednesday.
nonetheless, i am pleased to still be moving the right direction. & really in 7 weeks, i've dropped 21 lbs, so i wouldn't dream of complaining. i go see the doctor in about an hour and a half. fingers crossed (i'd cross my toes too, but it hurts to walk that way  ). -katie

Lately, I really haven't been logging anything and I think that's what is keeping me from losing more. Hopefully next week will be better! I'm anxious to get out of the 190's...

I'm just glad I didn't gain anything... I am also dealing with day 1 of TOM so hopefully some of it is water weight heheh.... now moving on to next week's goal which is to be down even a little! Good afternoon my workout buddies and happy Friday! My day began w/ P90X "Legs & Back" dvd. Since completing more than 1 pull up is next to impossible for me I decided to do negative pull ups. I had been reading ppl discuss them in different threads and a friend of mine stated that's what they use in the military to help you build to an actual pull up. A negative pull up is when you lift hold yourself above the pull up bar and slowly let yourself down. I can honestly say I felt it working my back. Hopefully after a few weeks of completing these I will be able to do more than 1 standard pull up. Time will tell.

I went to the dr today to discuss my insomnia and unfortunately the dr didn't have any immediate suggestions. Since I'm a new patient she had to run labs and things of that nature so she won't have options to discuss until the results are back. While I was hoping for a quick fix I can definitely appreciate her not arbitrarily writing a prescription for a sleep aide w/o doing a thorough workup.

I'm glad to read I haven't lost my "May Day Challenge" buddies. It seems like some of you are still steadily losing weight and I congratulate you on that.

Aisser: Sorry to read about your loss but glad you can be such a support to those who are in need.

Sphinctress: CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You've lost 20 lbs in about 6 weeks, what an AWESOME way to begin 2010. You'll be at 162 well before the end of April if you continue this progress. There's nothing like seeing progress that keeps you motivated. Keep up the great work.

Smadag: I'm sorry to read you lost your job but glad you haven't let it get you down and have a plan of attack. Good luck w/the job search and remember things happen for a reason so this next job has got to be better than the one you've just left.

Good afternoon ladies. I'm happy to report that the procrastination is over and the workout is complete. Everytime I thought about working out today I found something else to distract myself. Finally I said enough is enough, press play and BRING IT! I did just that and 58 minutes later Kenpo X is done. I usually attend a Saturday morning kickboxing class but since it snowed last night I decided to stay in today.

I hope everyone else is having a wonderful Saturday and has completed or is about to complete their workout.
