Good Evening All!

Happy Memorial Day! We went and seen our mothers Saturday and it was a nice enough visit. Sam went back to school on Saturday too. Yesterday we planted the garden and our flowers. They both look nice! Today we had a cook out with our best friends, in between thunderstorms! So it has been a nice weekend!

Well I decided to run a 1/2 marathon for my next challenge. I have regestered for one on my next birthday, September 25. It looks like it will be a lot of fun. right now there are a little over 5000 runners. Quite a crowd!

Now for my size! LOL I am not thin but I am thinner than I was! I am about 6 feet one half inches tall. My weight is 178 pounds. 30 inch waist 43 chest. I am working on the before and after pictures! I should get them finished in a week or so.

I think Day and I may go to Blue Chip tomorrow after my swim workout. It is under 4 weeks to the first triathlon! whoo hoo!

Was wondering about you. Glad you getting your gardem started.

we had tragery here in the Dallas area. 4 downing at the area lakes. Most of them are caused by drinking. Don't know if that is the cause this time or not. They are still looking for one body. a 22 year old boy.. tI is gonna to get to 100 and 101 this coming weekend. no rain in site. I worried about my family for they all like to get on the lakes., They all have boats.

Jerry and I had a nice peaceful day,I swear we have the loudest mockings birds in town.

I'm ready for a new month because somehow I don't think June would dare to have the cold rainy weather that we've been having in May LOL


Jake had a friend over this afternoon so I volunteered to take the dogs to the dog park and stay away so they could have some privacy.......he said he'd call when his friend left.......the girls and I spent an hour and ten minutes at the off leash park then walked for awhile on the trail......then we went to WalMart...there was no rain but we were exhausted by the time we got home.....Jake had dog food ready and I made my dinner shake right away......my pedometer says that I've walked over 11,000 steps today.:bigsmile:

Hi everyone! We actually saw a little bit of the sun today but it remains cold. Too cold for brand new bedding plants. Soon, very soon!! The family were here for the birthday supper. It is always nice to have them home. We watched the hockey playoff game. My son is in a pool, to of the pool, so it made it interesting. It isn't a lot of money but he is hoping to win $100. I have been cheering for the Flyers as I always go for the underdogs and of course, they lost.

Marie -- I made her a German chocolate cake and I had a very small piece. It turned out great if I do say so myself!! My Mom used to make this cake for birthdays and for some reason I thought it was so difficult that I have never made it. It isn't hard at all. I sent the remainder of the cake home with the birthday girl so it won't be calling to me. We used to tease my Grandma because she would compliment her own cooking, now here I go!! Too bad the only thing I do really well isn't good for me.

I nearly forgot to tell you that I put 20 minutes on the exercise bike today. The boys moved it into the family room. It is so much easier to bike watching TV.

Thanks barbiecat for posing the link to the June thread. I forgot all about it.. I really had a bad night last night. thnak God for all the wonderful people here.. I realyl think it is time for me to give it uo and just enjoy all of you guys post.

Hey Gayla that son of yours is doing fantastic. what is it about 15 days now.So happy for all of you. And mostly fror him.


I got to the lab for my blood work this morning. They have change it up. used to they did it in the doctor office now they make us go to a lab and sit and wait with a bunch of other people. Its in the same bldg. But just have to wait a lot longer.
