    Monday: 45 minutes of Cardio Mix and Melt dvd from the Melt it Off series..........................315 minutes to go!
    Tuesday: 30 minutes of Burn It Off dvd from Chalean Extreme program.............................285 minutes to go!
    Wednesday: 30 minutes of Cardio X dvd from P90X program...............................................255 minutes to go!

    I'm still hanging in there despite the fact that I will not meet this week's challenge.........dang arthritis

    In addition to my normal workout I decided to count the volunteer work I did today. I volunteered with a local feed the hungry and homeless group and worked in the clothing center. Working in the clothing center required a lot of walking, standing, folding and hanging of clothes. It was a great way to spend my Thanksgiving.

    As of today I have worked out 405 minutes and burned 1988 calories.


    My previous boot camp instructor is offering a free, Saturday, boot camp session until the end of the year so I decided to partake in it today.

    Today's circuit consisted of twisting mountain climbers, squat & overhead press, burpees w/a jump, pulsating squats while holding 20 lb weight, jumping rope, push ups, jumping squats w/a step, pulsating lunges, high knees, inchworms, jumping jacks and bicycles. We did each circuit until the trainer blew the whistle and then we moved on to the next. I believe each circuit was a minute. We did this twice and then we competed in team relays that consisted of walking side squats, jumping jacks, skiers and high knees.

    I had a great time and it made me realize how much I like and miss the group boot camps. I'm really considering joining for at least a month in order to jump start my workouts again

    Hi, sorry to have been MIA in the exercise department...had some super huge family drama (teenager are devils)...my MIL said that God created teenagers so we wouldn't want to keep them forever....I think, this one time, she might be right

    Anyway, I am ready to get back into the swing of things...If everyone is still interested, I will start a new thread on Sunday for December
