    Hi everyone,
I'm hoping you can help me with some research. I am studying the diet habits of various people to see if there are any correlations. I am studying my coworkers and friends but I would like information about you if you are willing to supply it. I'm working off of the honor system here. If you can please reply to this post with the following information.

    1) age: 20's, 30's, 40's, etc...I don't need actual ages
    2) approximate weight
    3) physical location. state is fine
    4) activity level. Sedentary, beginning exerciser, moderate, advanced exerciser, sporadic, etc...
    5) How often do you exercise?

    6) what is your largest meal of the day?
    7) how many times a day do you eat?
    8) how much water do you drink?
    9) how do you deal with food temptations?
    10) what is your typical restaurant meal?

    Thank you,
    Shannon

    9) Try thinking of a healthier option that also sounds good.
    10) It varies a lot. I don't make attempts to eat healthy while eating out. Instead, I've started greatly limiting the frequency with which I go out for food, and when I do go out I let myself "cheat" and have whatever I want because it's likely a special occasion. I do usually try to remain within my calorie limit though, or at least try not to go over by too much.

    9) I just make sure I have calories to enjoy the things I like and then indulge away
    10) Hmmm... on Sunday, after backpacking with my friends, I had a cheeseburger, fries and a beer. Last week, I went out just once and had a 12" margherita pizza. I rarely go our to eat, though - maybe once a week, if that!

Not sure how valuable this information is without knowing my height (5'9"), how many calories I eat a day (about 2200), or what my weight loss goals are (currently at goal).

    1) age: Late 30's

    2) approximate weight: Maintaining around 170 last time I checked.

    3) physical location: US/Canada border

    4) activity level: Very sedentary if I don't include exercise. Everything I need is at home...I work from home, workout at home (and outside) and I drive everywhere.

    5) How often do you exercise? Everyday sometimes twice a day.

    6) Do you eat breakfast? Yes, just not as early as most. I eat breakfast between 11am - noon.

    7) how many times a day do you eat? Mostly twice, sometimes I'll add in a good-sized snack on heavy lifting days.

    8) how much water do you drink? Depends on my workouts and the weather. Usually anywhere between 64 oz - 1 gallon. It's super hot and humid today and I'm going for a 4+ mile power walk shortly so I'm up to 110 oz so far. I also drink a couple of cups of herbal tea everyday, but I don't include that with the totals.

    9) how do you deal with food temptations? I either fit them in, eat a little with moderation, make substitutions or tell my stomach its going to have to wait until the weekend when I eat more then I'll enjoy a full sized of whatever I'm craving.

    10) what is your typical restaurant meal? Pizza, a seafood dish or some kind or wrap or pita with a veggie side and water.
