What kind of fatasses tell someone who's trying to loose weight to eat pizza. ONE slice has 285 calories. 640 mg of sodium. 36 carbs. For one slice. It's not that much protein, and that carbs y'all are talking about? THEYRE FROM WHITE BREAD. THATS BAD FOR YOUR BODY.

Not trying to starve myself I'm trying to make healthier choices. Try it sometime. When you're not eating pizza, try swapping it for a turkey sandwhich(healthy filling calories)

How is white bread bad for your body? And it's easy to work 285-570 calories into a day. Also, I've had four turkey sandwiches in the past ten days and bought some more today. Like I said before, moderation is the key. I wouldn't have lost 55+ pounds if I had deprived myself of the things I love.

You honestly think bread that is processed from 100% artificial ingredients isn't bad for you? http://authoritynutrition.com/why-is-bread-bad-for-you/

....The ingredients in the pizza dough recipe I posted earlier:
    - 1/2 tsp sugar (oh noes)
    - dry yeast
    - bread flour
    - cornmeal
    - extra virgin olive oil
    - salt

.....yep it's so artificial I might just die...
When I posted this I wasn't talking about homemade pizza

And yet you called me a fatass after I suggested home made pizza. Are you actually reading your own thread?

I'm not talking about the very few kind people who are sending me homemade links. I'm talking about the adults who find it amusing to pick on a young adult late at night who's trying to make a healthier choice than papa johns on a Wednesday night 60 days from spring break. I appreciate your link yes

Oh, don't start playing the "young adult" victim role. It's not becoming. If you are old enough to post here, you should be old enough to handle any advice given to you.

Advice telling me to eat pizza when I'm trying to loose weight and getting pictures of pizza being sent to me. Oh great yeah I'm deff coming here for support again

We just have been doing this a looong time, and usually when you deprive yourself of something you tend to over eat it later. So people are trying to be helpful. People that post here a lot are usually very successful at weightloss, I have lost over 100 lbs....

A lot of us are very supportive, not everyone here makes snide rude comments like the lady above.

I wish you all the luck and loss on your journey and hope you find something that works for you.
Thank you! You give me hope to maybe one day post something again

again? did i miss the part where you ceased posting?

You know how those self-imposed temporary forum bans go.

    =P

WHY CANT U JUST GIVE HER SUPPORT????

what is wrong with you people. buncha bullies

    Thank you:(

I hope you know he was being sarcastic.

Is there a reason that you are being a bully to a noobie? We all have to start somewhere.....

Seriously? I gave her advice, and she didn't like it so she called me and several other people here fat *kitten*. And you're calling me a bully. The thing is, she doesn't think she's starting. She thinks she's already there and knows everything. People were simply trying to help her realize that she doesn't have to deprive herself. Honestly, life's too short.

I didn't see that part, but I do know what it is like to be young and feel judged. It takes age to become better at that. Even being close to my 40's I get my feelings hurt when people judge me. When I first started on this site I was judge by my lack of knowledge as well. I don't think that bullying a bully is helpful in anyway.

I am pretty sure your mommies all taught you that 2 wrongs didn't make a right...

I'd like you to point out where exactly I bullied her. Most of my posts were responding to hers. I did make a crack about her not acting like an adult because, honestly, it's not really adult to call someone a fat *kitten* who's giving you advice. And I said she thinks she knows it all because she does think she knows it all, but no where in any of my responses did I call her any insulting names.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. Enough excitement for one night. I'm sure this post will still be rolling tomorrow. :)

That post would be for you though. You're old enough to know that Thumper's advice from his dad doesn't necessarily apply to adults having an adult conversation.

I'm eating over 1000 calories a day...thanks for all the concern guys. Thought I left cyber bullying back on Facebook in middle school, guess not. Well after getting pictures of slit wrists and pizza sent to me, I'm thinking this isn't the app to reach my goals. And by the way, I want to be in shape for spring break and then feel so good about myself that I'm going to continue to stay on track with my goals. Thanks for all the tips and support. Ahhh...short-term crash diet support wanted. I get it now.

OP, what is your net daily calorie goal, and are you consistently reaching it?

I'm actually well below my calorie goal and surprisingly go to bed full each night. (Because I choose wise healthy filling calories)

Do you realize that this is not a good thing?
I'm sure she doesn't but she will get it someday

well, a quick peek at eating disorder rates for girls in her age group indicates that today would be a good day for her to get it, as opposed to someday.

but who are we kidding? the OP is lost. but 400 other newbies will see this thread before the week is out, and maybe half of them will get the message that eating food you enjoy is okay, and that WHITE CARBZ are not the debil, and that you can post on these here forums and get some pretty damned good advice from some very successful people IF YOU"RE WILLING TO LISTEN.

I'm guessing this will fall on deaf ears, but unless you are about three feet tall and in a coma, 1000 calories a day is not nearly enough. Please take the time to really learn about this stuff -- you won't regret it and it just may save you years of heartache down the line.

Over 1000 calories? And under how many?

    200. I'm not going to eat if I'm not hungry. That's what got me here in the first place. Again, God Bless and Goodnight

You don't have to preach to me, I have been at this awhile and I eat... When I started I didn't though and killed my metabolism and got more overweight. I finally educated myself enough to know that food isn't the devil, it's how you act about it that is.

Hopefully she will pick that up too, but right now she is obviously not in the mindset to listen.

Insecurity causes teenagers to throw defenses up, I am just saying there are 2 sides to every story and she is not ready to learn. So why waste your time and effort?

I appreciate your link yes

wait, what does spring break have to do with this?

Because she isn't the only person who will read this thread.

Some of us continue to try to help even when it is clear OP isn't listening...because it's the right thing to do bigger picture. Perhaps if you don't understand this, you could back off a little on telling other people how you think they should forum. Just a thought...from one adult to another.

God Bless, Goodnight

I didn't see any slit wrist pics. Not sure what you're referring to.

However, regarding the rest of your post, 1200 is the minimum recommended calories for women. If you consistently eat lower than that, you will have a hard time meeting your nutrient requirements and you'll begin experiencing side effects, such as gallstones, dry skin and hair, vitamin deficiencies, and loss of muscle. Your heart is a muscle, a rather important one, and you could permanently damage it by eating so few calories.

You don't have to believe me. Look up "side effects of very low calorie diets" on Google.

Oh, I would make a fake pizza real low calories and splurge on it. Friday I am having toasted cheese sandwiches, but I am going to steam broccoli and put it on there with tomatoes too. My friend and I are making the cheese, and cooking in oil or butter. YUM, but LOTS of calories. So I am skipping breakfast and snacks that day. I am just doing this to be friendly with my friend, but the friendship is worth it.
