I just tried it last week (based on someone's recc in this thread.) It's pretty cool! Like running in a video game.
I'm kinda OCD about my run/walk ratios (I run 2 mi, walk 1/4 mi, run 2 mi, walk 1/4 mi, etc.) so I haven't turned on the "Zombie Chase" function that makes you speed up when you're under attack...I might try it tonight on my run though.

New confession. Yup, I did just fall asleep at my desk for 15mins. I think this thread is an obsession because the first thing I thought of when I woke up was to tell you guys about it.

Oh, my... I can only imagine how uniquely beautiful a Black Lab / Irish Setter mix would be... and to have the flags and tail that a Setter has -- ! -- Wow... that would definitely have been a dog that 'stood out'...The best dog my parents ever had while I was growing up was a mostly lab / Irish Setter mix. He was a wonderful dog. Total strangers would offer to buy him on the spot. (not for sale). He had such heart and personality! He was black with the flags on his legs and tail that the setters have. He was 1/8 Setter (or so we were told, he was a pound puppy)
...and as much as I cannot fathom how total strangers would go up to anyone to offer to buy their dog (OMG! -- how does someone walk up to *anyone* and offer to buy someone's family member?!!!), I can understand total strangers making a comment regarding someone's dog (heck, I've done that... I recall a specific instance from several years ago, in what represented the first time in years that I'd seen a Chocolate Lab in person... and someone was resting the dog in some shade, near a convenience store I'd just pulled up to, on a hot summer day... and as I walked toward the door, I couldn't help looking at that wondrous dog, and smiling, as I quickly conveyed, to the human guardian/family member accompanying said dog, how absolutely beautiful the dog was (he was also, easily, one of the largest/longest Labs I've ever seen in my life... he looked so strikingly regal (if Chocolate Labs were able to speak English, I wouldn't have been surprised to hear that dog recite Shakespeare (and in a beautifully sonorous voice (and with a British accent, to boot
)))... he seemed like a form of 'impossible' one might perchance see painted in some book from the 1900s, and for which it would be assumed that the dimensions were wrong (of the painted dog, not the book ), and that the dog's body length might possibly have been exaggerated in conjunction with whatever compulsion seems to afflict fishermen who brag about their 'catch' 
-- or that the artist who painted the dog perhaps thought that they were painting a small-statured horse (as beautiful as such beings are, this one would have repeatedly experienced hearing the words, "this horse looks so much like a dog..." )...
(...now, I need to do a quick search, to 'catch a glimpse' of a Black Lab / Irish Setter mix... )

@Susieq_1994 - I am behind so maybe someone already suggested this, but have you looked into any apps that block profanity? They have them for the web in general and also for ebooks. There is even something you can connect to your TV that blocks swear words.

Yesterday sucked!
I got lost running an errand for my son (he got his grad hoodie for next year Monday and his name was spelled wrong, so had to find the uniform shop and get it fixed).....then we realized his bike was stolen, he just recently bought it and it is his transportation to and from work, so he had to walk yesterday, and today. Then I missed my gym time because as I was heading there, the office staff at my building called me and told me another bike had been stolen and asked me to see if I could come and view the video....that took a while and we saw nothing actually.
I feel bad for my son
Work is stressful right now too, kind of a long story, but we had a new girl that only worked about two months and now is off sick for an 'undetermented' amount of time, so they are replacing her and her husband came in Monday while I was there and freaked out on my boss....I do not generally work on Tuesdays but my boss text me and said this is becoming a bit of a nightmare. I have known her husband for years and now things are awkward, and I got her the job for him......my boss is cool, she knows I could not have known, but the whole situation is just sucky and stressful.
Plus I am still not really speaking to my SO still, we are on week two.....so that just adds to the stress.
I am not going to let it ruin tonight though! Tonight is the only night in a long while that I will be home alone. My daughter is out of town visiting a friend and my son is working. My daughter keeps getting straight day shifts, which is strange for a 19 year old working at tourist attractions that are open all night...and she is a new hire....over all it is great because she can rely on the bus which is obviously much cheaper than cabs etc, but it is seriously cutting into my alone time that over the last year I have gotten very used to! A year ago I never had alone time, but now I love it, lol.
So, tonight, I am going to indulge in a chicken bacon alfredo pizza from domino's and watch Big Brother! I figure I have about five hours of alone time after work before my son gets home....so I am gonna get everything done I need to do right away and then sit on the sofa and just bask in my aloneness lol.
Today is my day off logging so I am not worried about such things tonight, I am gonna eat super light during the day, just a light lunch and already did not eat much breakfast, but tonight I will eat pizza and my favorite Haagan Dazs chocolate peanut butter ice cream.....I am not even gonna have my phone on!

I confess: I am judging you for judging that post...BUT his friends list consists almost entirely of attractive females with their make-up covered faces and body parts exposed....I smell a misogynist.

So I felt a little urge to publicly shame him. Judge all you want, if I found out a man did that at my place of work or that new receptionist was my {hypothetical} daughter, he would be one testicle missing.

Men ARE men but, in my opinion, grown men don't 'beat off' to the new receptionist while at work. They should wait until they get home for that kind of thing. Do WORK at work. Or...post on a forum about the crappy way you've been eating lately and how you have skipped workouts and how you are posting things at work when you really should be working(I am guilty of all these things).
Also, I noted in my post that he was likely a misogynistic hypocrite based on his friends list, which, I confess, was also me judging him.
TL;DR: I wasn't ACTUALLY judging you. I was agreeing with you and then confessing my own judgement of 'Yeah, this dude is a misogynistic hypocrite who should keep his self love schedule to himself'.

As I said earlier I put my big girl panties on this morning, I've gone all feminist, did my Stonglift session at the gym and I'm PUMPED! well... after my 15min accidental nap at my desk.

Yay! That sounds awesome! I'm a little jealous. My goal is to do a mud run or obstacle course in the fall but I don't have anyone to do it with me. I hurt my left shoulder a couple months ago and went to physical therapy for a bit and somehow hurt my right shoulder a week ago so no weights for awhile. Long story short...I'm afraid that I won't have the upper body strength for it. Ok I'm finished whining.
Does anyone have helpful hints for preparing for a mudder?

Glad you like it! I think part of the issue with missing posts here isn't so much that the thread is busy (though that's part of it), but it's more that when folks respond, they tend to quote the ENTIRE POST they are replying to, including lengthy blocks of text and/or images and photos. It doesn't take long to burn through multiple pages that way, and bury other new posts in the process.
Normally I'd have the same concern but right now, when I'm 30 pages behind (and I've skipped 10-page chunks over the past couple of days
because when I've replied the "new post" function bumps to the post after my own instead of the last one I'd read up to that point) I kinda welcome the huuuuuge post quotes because they occupy a lot of space on the page, thereby reducing my reading.
And that was a horribly run-on sentence that probably made no sense whatsover.0
