    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Probably not
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Helped my hubby with sailing, conditions were rough
    What would I have done differently? log my food when I was gone
    What is today's personal goals? Yoga class - done
    Mood today? B)

    Sun - Rest day
    Mon- Yoga class 75 mins.
    Tues- Walking 45 min.
    Wed - sailing to a port in the US
    Thurs - sailing back home
    Fri - Yoga class 75 mins

    Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Not sure - I didn't overdo it. I just don't know for sure because I didn't log :-(

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? read a little more of Spectrum. I went to the doctors last week and that it what he prescribed - Dean Ornish's book Spectrum...LOL better than a prescription I guess.
    What would I have done differently? go for a walk and log food
    What is today's personal goals? a walk or the Y - some sort of exercise

    What is today's personal goals? follow nutrition plan, log, walk, make a couple of healthy meals tonight for the next few days
    Mood today? crabby, but not as bad as yesterday :)

    What would I have done differently? Probably not have the cheese tea biscuit even though I counted it.

    Hope that I can keep up, this time.
    Weighed in last week. 155 pounds.

    Yesterday, Sunday. Religious holiday started last night... so huge meal at someone's house very late at night. Knew that would not go well...

    Did you stay within your nutritional goals? nope
    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? yes, I did not overdo anything & did not let the whole day go...
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Exercised. & didn't go crazy at the holiday dinner or the rest of the day.
    What would I have done differently? Not had as much brisket at the dinner.
    What is today's personal goals? Not go crazy at the lunchtime holiday meal nor the rest of the day. When I say, "crazy"... I mean crazy with food. Get some kind of exercise in.
    Mood today? Okay

    Sun - Did back exercises including planks & sit-ups. Also, did 50 push-ups & 10 seated triceps lifts.

    Hi, im hoping by logging in here with you will kick me back in line. i've been living the healthy life, eating right, tracking everything, hitting the gym and just arent seeing the results i want. why does this have to be so hard :neutral:

    I have spent years at the same weight. Eating salads and 'eating healthy'. For a while I walked 3miles/day. That didn't work either. Spent 2.5yrs with a trainer that cost me Big Bucks! Lost 50lbs (Worked HARD for a while at a non conditioned gym). With what he put me through; I should have lost that weight within a year.

    Recently started this myfitnesspal and am happy with it. Have already seen 5lbs drop.
    Logging everything and letting the program figure what nutritional value it all has helps me A Lot! I work hard on trying to keep my numbers within the correct limits. It pushes me to stay in line.
    Also, it tells me if I have too many calories and Must do some cardio - then I Must do some activity to get back in line. I like that I can use this to keep me on the right track.

    What would I have done differently? nothing
    What is today's personal goals? put a new battery in my Fitbit and go to the Y

    I'm not a fan of Mondays but for some reason I always start off strong and fizzle by Thurs\Fri. Need to keep up the momentum... (for life...LOL). :D

    10 barely & not even halfway to the floor regular floor push-ups.
    10 bent knee push-ups (see above)
    30 wall push-ups.

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? yes
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Exercised. & didn't go crazy at the holiday lunch or the rest of the day.
    What would I have done differently? Not had the chocolate chip cookie brownie
    What is today's personal goals? stay at or below calories & do back exercises, push-ups & seated triceps lifts (or whatever they are called...)
    Mood today? stressed, but happy.

    Sun - Did back exercises including planks & sit-ups. Also, did 50 push-ups & 10 seated triceps lifts.
    Mon - 1 hour of dancing -- done in 3 separate 20 minute sessions. (Originally only wanted to do 20 minutes, but realized I needed to add some calories so that I could eat supper).

    Welcome newcomers. :) We check in everyday and make ourselves accountable. Good to see Istpaul and Elbee back!!
    GoldK is the leader of the group. Let see if we can take some weight off before Thanksgiving. Since I live in Canada
    ours will be October 10th. So the rest of you have until end of November. I will stick with American Thanksgiving too.

    Shirley - I didn't realize that you live in Canada, where do you live? My family vacationed in Quebec City and Montreal for a quick 5 days this summer and we loved it there!

    What is today's personal goals? follow nutrition plan, log, step (already done - woo hoo), make tuna and/or chicken salad for the next few days
    Mood today? not as crabby, proud of myself for getting step class in at lunchtime - I haven't been to that class in probably a year and a half

    What did I do yesterday that I am oroud of? Admitted to my husband and myself that I was feeling defeated and then recovered with some new found excitement. I'm gonna be one hot 40yr old in a couple months.
    What would I have done differently? Skipped the pumpkin pie blizzard
    What is today's personal goals? Log everything and meal prep for the rest of the week

    Mon - found a plan - bodybuilding.com Rewired 9 wk trainer.
    Tues- cardio and plans day 1 arms workout

    Mood today? :neutral: feeling a little frustrated - a 14 year old teenage daughter. I probably don't have to say much more. Some days it just feels like I'm all alone when it comes to raising my daughter - oh... I am ... ;-)
