Strike is over guys! Officially 6/1! I am so relieved. I do not do well with being told what to do! I think the reason I did so well last strike was I had my own CO! And it only lasted 15 or so days. Not 47!
I will go back to my regular job Wed or Thursday. It is going to be so weird going back. I have take sooo many pictures over the last 47 days that I can finally share with you (have ZERO energy to figure out why my phone isn't uploading to computer when I am home).
Brought in a new horse on trial, going tonight to ride it again, hopefully he will work out and I will have a new handsome boy to spoil. Phoebe has been having a few issues with an old injury so she is just on flat work for a while (and I have ridded like 4x in that 47 days so she has had a lot of rest). Need a younger boy or girl to bring along.
I have also been abysmal on tracking all my food and exercising, so need to get back to that!
Take care, all!
Yay for all the good news!0 -
Happy Back-to-Work Day, POF!!!2

Today's my 27th birthday and I have no intention of counting calories tonight because pasta.7

I have been on a program for the last two months and the scale is still bouncing about around the same two pounds. I also have to say, I know I haven't been 100% on point, so only my to blame for that.0

Today I've ate nothing but ice cream & no regrets.3

Even after doing this for almost 2 years on and off, I still just stop logging if I know I'm going over because I cannot stand to be in the red. I need to get over that!3

Is it sad I'm in the red so often I don't even care about the color anymore?0

That's me too1 -
This is just one reason I this thread so much! Just when we think we're the only one that does or doesn't do something, we find that a lot of other are the same!0

I am well within my calories today and if nothing goes wrong, it's leg day which will give me even more calories to play with, but I am feeling vaguely guilty for eating peanut butter at both of my breaks today.

I traded my greek yogurt with berries for a maple bar this morning. Good trade.

I did not eat breakfast today. I was say to tired so I went to bed.
When I woke up, the bean soup I had thrown in the crockpot was not done.
Did I find something sensible to eat?
No...I was not hungry,so I went about my business.
Suddenly I was in the kitchen...I don't know how or why.....I could have been teleported there. Right in front of me where some flaky crunchy coconut cookies....oh they were good. But wait...some one said "this would be really good with the Nutella your sons brought home with them".....tricky soul she was gone in a flash......before I knew it I was in front of an open jar of Nutella. Oh my it was so good I had you share the combo with my sons. One cookie dipped in Nutella each.
I was joined for the rest of the treat.
I can always count on my boys to help me out of a dieting blunder when it comes to tasty food.9 -

So I didn't girl to the gym. But I am under calories. Just under my protein macro, 31 grams over on carbs, and my fat is dead on. It was the baked potato that put me over carbs. I should stop feeling guilty about peanut butter in moderation.4

I have been abysmal about finishing my log during strike. I promised yesterday I would get back on track. Finished logging yesterday, had no alcohol, took a walk at lunch, but didn't exercise. I am still so exhausted from the let down of no longer being on strike duty (and I mean relief not depression) that I can barely drag myself through the day. I should have taken yesterday and today off. Exercise will start again tomorrow. But I did log progress today too. Going to get rid of the now 5 lbs I put on during strike and get down the total 8 I need to to get to my goal.3 -

Thank you! It was surreal putting on make up and doing my hair and going to the office. I have to re-acclimate.4 -
Okay as of yesterday I am the proud owner of a 5 year old Thoroughbred. He was a race horse but apparently too slow. Only 13 races (which is good... in my opinion less is good with racing). His registered name is Diacetto, I am calling him Jaques (pronouncing it Jax) and his show name is going to be Measure for Measure.
Here is a picture:
He turned 5 on May 18th. His parents are Smart Strike (Sire) and Lyrical Prayer (Dam).
So cute! Him not me... Not the best picture of me, but he looks cute.8 -
He's beautiful, @Oberon21!!!1

Look what popped up on my FB memory feed today.
