Weird things you do with food

As I was dipping my toast with peanut butter in my coffee, I was wondering if anyone else has any weird things they do with food that others would raise an eyebrow at.
Another one for me is for when I eat chicken wings. I CLEAN them. Like to the bone. Crunchy bits and all. I don't always do that around others, as the crunching is a bit... off putting (my mother does it too, and man it's loud).

Another for me (I'm just weird with food in general I guess...) is leftover salad, or soggy salad. Day old Caesar Salad? Nom.21

I one time had Miso soup for breakfast and my husbands family almost disowned me.23

I'm a sorry excuse for an Italian who uses jarred pasta sauce instead of investing the time to make it from scratch. That's about all I got.23

The only way I'll eat ketchup is if I put a ton of pepper in it. And I mean flip the "pour" tab not the "sprinkle" tab. At restaurants I'll take the entire lid off the shaker. My boyfriend thought it was weird until he tried it. Now he does it too.
At Chinese buffets, you know those doughnut type rolls with sugar on them? I take those and drench them in soy sauce. Oh my gosh it is so good.
I also like to get fries from McDonald's or Sonic or something and cut them up and mix them in with my ice-cream.
I have a few more but I'll spare you.

Really? Radishes? Interesting.. maybe I'll try it one day.4 -
my kids eat pancakes with mustard, I tend to take everything apart when I eat it. Like kitkats, I bite the chocolate off each of sides then take each wafer off and eat it. M&Ms- I will bite the shell off first while its in my mouth then eat the chocolate. I'm sure there is more weirdness about me, I just can't think of it at the moment.23

I would take the bones of the chicken wings and use that to eat the rest of the sauce from the packet. Shoot I logged it imma eat all my ranch45

I love green beans with ketchup or better yet, BBQ sauce.
Unless I'm in a restaurant/public, I eat my pizza crust first.
As a teen, I ate a lot of canned peas, including sometimes cold and/or for breakfast.14 -
I also eat the chocolate off my Kit Kat's first - around the outside edges, then separate them, eat the edges, then do the wafer layers one by one. If I eat pizza, I always rip the cheese off, eat around the outside edge of the crust, then eat the cheese by itself. Any vegetables at meal time have to be on their own plate or in their own bowl - I can't stand them when the juice touches anything else. Ice cream cones - I always get the kids size vanilla cone, push the ice cream down into the cone with my tongue and what doesn't fit, I wipe off and throw away. Then I eat the bottom soggy portion of the cone and throw the middle part out. LOL.15

I will eat the cornbread off of the corndog first.
I will eat all around my sandwich to get the crust first. Sometimes I have to cut my sandwich into 4 triangles.
I pick the pizza toppings off and eat them and eat the crust and pizza with garlic or ranch sauce.
I take apart Kit Kats and eat a layer at a time.
Some were talking about Chinese.. I take duck sauce, sweet and sour sauce, hot mustard, and soy sauce to my table and mix them. It is so good. I dip everything in it. Thank me or curse me later. Oh, btw hot mustard is made with horseradish, go easy on it. lol
Okay, I'm going to stop there before people think I'm a weird person..jkirby0036 wrote: »my kids eat pancakes with mustard, I tend to take everything apart when I eat it. I just realized you said that. Now I know I'm not alone.chelledawg14 wrote: »I also eat the chocolate off my Kit Kat's first - around the outside edges, then separate them, eat the edges, then do the wafer layers one by one.....
Okay this must be as normal as eating the icing in Oreos first.2 -

I spent a week in Maui a few years ago and had miso soup, scrambled eggs, and pineapple for breakfast every day! It was delish.4 -
Dip fries in ice cream
Peanut butter toast dipped in coffee
Spread Pretzels with icing (takes care of the sweet and salty!)3 -
Put hot sauce on my fried plantains. Everyone who sees me do it thinks I'm crazy, but I swear that's how my friend's family ate them when I was growing up.7
-
sauerkraut with ketchup.4

You will know I have been abducted by aliens if I fail to remove the toppings (usually with a fork) from my pizza before removing the cheese. Both toppings and cheese must be removed and eaten before I eat the crust.
I have no other weird "food touching other food" behaviors, but there you go.4 -
I have to pour my drinks into a cup if its in a can, (drives my husband crazy because hes always washing cups that I put sparkling water in )
I wont eat salad if there is a lettuce spinach or kale base, because I found a bug in my salad once, but have no problem eating a salad if the base is cabbage.
Also I used to use 1 table spoon of ranch and 1 tablespoon of Italian dressing when I did eat salads, everyone thought that was strange.0 -
sauerkraut with ketchup.
My German grandmother always used to put ketchup in her sauerkraut.
Everyone here seems to like to pick their food apart and eat it, but I do the opposite. I am a mixer. With the exception of beef tenderloin filet (because it's way too good on its own), I usually cut up all of my food and mix it together on my plate. The best is Thanksgiving dinner...turkey and all the trimmings mixed together!20 -
I love chocolate chip cookies dipped in orange juice instead of milk. And frozen junk food straight out of the freezer still frozen.5

Put left over bbq pulled pork on a bacon egg and cheese sandwich the morning after.14

This is not weird. It is brilliant.

New this week: I had 3 old bags of kale in my refrigerator. My daughter had requested them, used a little of it, and requested it again and again. As old kale will do, it was deteriorated. Since I spent money to get that kale, I see it as a bag of money and I didn't want to waste it, so I put 60 g of rotted kale in my morning smoothie and pretended not to remember that. It tasted just as it would have with fresh crisp kale. I'm not wasting kale now.16

Clementine oranges dipped in hot sauce.8

I lick the flavour off of ripple chips then I eat the ridges row by row like a chipmonk. I also like to bite off the big bumps on each piece of popcorn. At least this way it slows my binge down.13

A long time ago I used to spread mustard or marmite on potato waffles and melt cheese on top, I sometimes used to eat coco pop and banana sandwiches erm... mash potato sandwiches with left over mash from sunday dinner.... these days I just add cottage cheese and quark to lunchtime and dinnertime meals which my partner and my mum find really weird...4

Doritos on my sandwiches
Cheese puffs on my sandwiches

peanut butter banana bacon burger
