    9/30 Wineglass Marathon

    I am not feeling well tonight. I have been busy most of the day prepping for hubby to come home tomorrow (he has been overseas for work for the last 3 months AND tomorrow is his birthday), and this evening I feel super lethargic with somewhat of a stomachache. I got in 2 miles of my planned 4 tonight. I hope to get in 6-7 in the morning.

    @marisap2010

    Lots happening for you the moment and coming up. Hugs. :heart:

    Look after yourself, sweetie. There are some nice ideas in the Self-care challenge thread.

    Happy birthday to hubby!

    Morning all. I'm looking at wireless headphones. I currently have a cheap pair with the receiver about 2-3 inches below the rt ear. It drives me nuts bouncing as I run. So I'm looking for some sports ones and OMG the variety!

    I'm looking for ones that have over ear clips for stability (I like that style) with the cable coming out the back of the clip - i find that eliminates tug on the earpiece itself.

    I've seen some with the receivers on the earpiece but they look heavy to me. I've also seen "collared" versions, with a flexible collar that sits around your neck, and short cables leading to the ear pieces.

    I'm on a tight budget for these and don't really care about the quality of the audio. Who's tried what and what works for you.

    My biggest annoyance when running is bounce causing tugging on the earpieces.

    @Avidkeo I bought a pair of refurbished wireless AfterShoks on Amazon for a great price. I love having my ears free so I can hear traffic and environmental sounds for safety. I’ve had this pair for 6 months and put them through all kinds of weather / abuse. They are still going strong. You might find a great brand that has a refurbished deal on Amazon?

    @MegaMooseEsq The running coach isnt a bad idea. To my knowledge there is no coaching available in our area. I'll see if i can find anything. Thanks.

    There are online ones. It is not as good as in person of course, but many people use them successfully. Might look one of them up.

    144 of of 160 km done. I'm a little annoyed with my self, I've done nothing to work on my lack of speed. I just start running, zone out, and all of a sudden I'm back home, having no idea of how far or how fast I've run until I check my phone.
