I was on a Facebook group for the 2019 Run the Year program and someone asked advice for working out with broken ribs. Another person chimed in claiming to be a PT and told her to eat clean (specifically no sugar) and drink bone broth. What is the worst advice you have seen from individuals claiming to have a medical background?

    Physical therapist or personal trainer?

Good question. I didn't ask. @MelanieCN77 She didn't make medical claims but answered "As a PT"...which made it sound like she was speaking as an expert.

I knew someone that told a guy who was talking about losing his beer belly that he should watch his fruit intake ....yeah that is why he has a beer belly, he was eating too much fruit:(:(

The fruit was probably fighting the healthy foods he was eating and causing the weight gain.

Yeah I think you are right;)
