As we all know, the Woo reaction is a negative thing, essentially a polite way to say BS. However, some have been confused by it and have (we assume / we hope ... given the context) used it as a positive reaction, like "woo-hoo".
Thankfully, MFP's IT staff will be making a much-requested change and Woo will become Disagree ... much clearer!

Not before time. I myself found it misleading when I first joined, until some kind person pointed it out to me. (I must have appeared very disagreeable before that Lol! Not my intention at all).

Good morning beautiful ladies 💐💐!I want to let y’all know,my daughter and her son are living with us now.Her whatever he is says he wants Nothing to do with her(until his current @*#*#*# gets tired of carrying him everywhere and paying for almost everything-he quit his last job a couple weeks ago).I know it’s going to take a lot of strength for her not to go back, but I’m going to do whatever I can to let her know she deserves better.Shes so beautiful inside and out and goes out of her way to help anyone in need.Im so proud of her and always have been.Thank you All for your support and prayers. Y’all don’t know me and have been here for me more than, well,it means So much.😢.
Lisa-I’m sorry about your moms letter and wallet.I would like to hope,as you do,that maybe any purchase made was food or clothes, desperately needed by the person that took your cards. But probably not.😔.Prayers,hugs,love❤️and much gratitude to y’all.

Disagree is much clearer. But it is still too easy to hit as a typo when scrolling on my phone. Not everything typed is meaningful!2

Monday off to a good start so far. Weigh in was good (dropped some more). Got 30 minutes in on bike and had a good night's sleep. Am over whatever had me feeling so tired I think. Going to be hot and humid here today-am dressed for it and thankfully will be inside most of day.
Wedding video beautiful Tracey.
Lisa -good luck with replacement of license and other papers.

Tracey - that wedding video was stunning! Your daughter was gorgeous and your son in law very handsome- love his smile. And his laughing. He looks to be a happy and caring person. There's a lot more captured in video than still photos, that's for sure. Loved the hugging and dancing, just everything. Great choice in that dress for you, by the way. You and Rodger make a cute couple . Great memories!! Wish them happiness!
Machka - thank you for the "woo" update. Disagree will make it clearer, but still wish there was a symbol for "excited for you" that's not a hug. Will that "In the Hospital" video be available to the general public? Put on Youtube perhaps so we can see it?
Cathy - that Chaffle recipe looks yummy, and Lisa - your pizza idea is terrific. I love cheese. Luckily I eat enough fiber and fat - avocadoes especially, I think, that things keep moving, lol.
Rebecca - when we watched "Alone" last week I was reaching for a blanket, even though it was quite warm here. For those of you who don't watch it, 8 or so folks are dumped out somewhere with a few items and the one who survives the longest wins a lot of money. This season they are at Great Slave Lake in Canada - basically the arctic. Temps in the teens. Finding food is hard. Most lost an extreme amount of weight due to well, starvation if they don't have luck hunting and fishing. If their health gets too fragile, they are pulled out. I'm betting on the gal to win - she has spunk and a good attitude and is clever at catching squirrels and rabbits for food. We'll see.
Those of you in the heat right now- see if you can find it. Mind over matter. Hope you get a cool off quickly.
Time for the second cup of coffee. Have a great week!!

Lanette - the pizza idea was all my husband's... I try not to ever cook. The fact that you can do something doesn't mean you want to... or should, in my case.
Debbie in VA - SO pleased your daughter and her son are with you, safe and sound. There was so much I didn't say, as it's not terribly useful, but in my experience, abusers don't change. They just don't. Abusers abuse, because whatever is broken inside them has left them with an ingrained need to break those who love them. I hope she learns to care about who she is, both for herself, and for her son. He needs her to find that, too. Thank you for the sympathy for the loss of my mother's note. Small in the scheme of things, I guess.
And on that note, as I was sweating like a li'l piglet on the elliptical this morning (where I do my best thinking), I clicked to the fact that, had I been a normal person who carried a purse, that theft could have been much, much worse. My keys, which would have given them access to my car and my house, my phone, which is secured, but which I have to have in order to work, all the other things that matter would have been gone, too. But it was mostly just things, cards that are easily cancelled, other things easily replaced. I still have the memory of my mother, I didn't lose that, just something she wrote. I was lucky in many ways.
And now that I've been unmercifully sunny and found the silver lining and stuff, please note the third voice on the left inside my head still hopes that karma does something suitably awful to the thief. Like a short jail term for a crime he/she/they DIDN'T commit, so they can understand what "injustice" actually means.
That said, I try not to listen to the third voice on the left much. Too easy to rent too much headspace to those who infest our surroundings who feel they are entitled to everything you've worked hard for all your life.
Love y'all,

Tracey ~ What a magnificent wedding. It looks like everyone had such a fun and happy evening.

Hi. I am dog sitting until Friday. The only treats in the house are dog treats! So I will have to be good. I made my overnight oats for lunch. Dinner will be grilled chicken and broccoli. I didn't bring my dumbbells. So it's time to settle in and sit.
My mom is watching my dog. I told her enough dog baths for Teddy. I think she wants him to smell like baby shampoo. He doesn't smell doggy. Plus looking for random things to clean is a large part of how she spends her time. Teddy is only fifteen pounds but he wiggles. I don't want him dropped. But there's only so much I can do if I'm not there.

Hi all,
Just woken up from an hour's nap. Phew!
Utterly and completely shattered from my friend's 24 hour visit! It went really well, she was great company, but I feel sooooooo exhausted from it.
We did go on a loooooong walk yesterday along the seafront, up and around the Palace Pier, and back again. I calculate well over 7 miles!!! I had already done my morning exercises, so I had quite a few calories to eat up for dinner. We had an ice cream on our way home.
Dinner fabulous, of course.
This morning she didn't eat breakfast (wouldn't you know, she is a skinny minny) and we set out on an expedition to my local Middle East shop to buy dukkah. They hadn't yet opened, so she bought me coffee opposite my newsagents, where I bought today's Guardian with an obituary of Ros in it. Back we went and found various bits we wanted, including saffron for me. I learnt that dukkah is pronounced duh....catch your throat. ....uh.
She had some GF grain bread and off she went. Lovely.
Then I just went into total collapse and an eating binge. I dragged myself to the exercise machines and managed to total up 600 before I fell into bed and asleep. Oooouuufff!
DH is away at cricket in London and won't be back until 10 pm.
Tracey - What a very lovely video and so great to see you and hear your voice. Thank you for posting it.
Now I'm going to slow down the eating! Maybe watch a film. My whole body feels like it's been wrestling a truck! That's what 24 hrs of very pleasant company does to an introvert!
Much love, Heather UK xxxxxxx8 -
Clowe- saves y sent to my Cousin on Keto y my kids God mother sounds like something maybe my 2yr old might try.I only have a tortilla warmer so going to attempt it on it or a skillet.
Here’s what I used to get rid of my ants issue. When we moved in had to get rid of a lot including snakes 🐍 coming in under the door! This worked on the ants could slide in areas JR can’t reach or get to or most of all see!
Amber Tx1 -
Margaret: The idea of planting mint to deter ants is appealing. The hummingbird feeders attach to our windows via suction cups. I could plant mint underneath those two windows. Vinegar is another appealing idea. I’ll give it consideration. Thank you for great ideas.
Lisa: Congrats on the upcoming grandson.
Rebecca: I’ve always been taught that your body fights disease and repairs damage during sleep. You obviously need the sleep. I hope you’re feeling better soon. :flowerforyou:
Lanette: I love Reeces, too. They are a RARE treat in my world. If I open a two pack I eat both. They fall in the category of “leaveright”—leave her right in the store. Once in a while I succumb.
Machka: I agree with Lisa. You’re doing something very nice by using your experiences with your DH’s stroke and subsequent health improvements to help others.
DH was put on a gluten free diet and we missed pizza. We went to a local take and bake pizza place and bought what was supposed to be gluten free. It wasn’t gluten free enough. We have had better luck with Subway sandwiches. Their gluten free buns pass the test well. DH has gluten free and I have flat bread that contains gluten. We are both pleased with these rare treats.
Yoga at 8 am tomorrow morning, and DH’s meeting with the surgeon at 10:30 am. There is plenty of time for us to get to the surgeon’s office provided there are no traffic accidents that close roads. I think that is highly unlikely. I know he is anxious about the meeting and I hope to go to yoga. If it is too stressful for him, I’ll skip yoga.

Debby VA- hair salon for Daughter point out every time son smiles “Doesn’t he look happier .” It will slowly sink in. Take them to a McDonald’s play area or the park a lot. Telling you a $1 side salad 🥗 for you y $1 burgers for them with waters well worth it to see them relax.Custody lawyer is important ASAP he doesn’t sound like the type to pay his child support with no job they may not ask him for any. Better to have custody so safer tho than money.Counseling if possible for both best is a family counselor that will play with toys talk to son then mom after. They guide so well but find a good fit if counselor not a good one ask for another! Watching fun movies as a family to other memory builders maybe find cheap guitar lessons or little league for the baby... helped me seeing the potential of leaving could build my Daughter future not tear it down! My family chipped in me too we stuck her in martial arts 🥋 y guitar 🎸. Lol she felt big with her new haircut y clothes her choice not the abusers! I did too had been dressing in burlap sacks with long split end hair so long I never knew I looked good. I hate to see pictures of my past so does Daughter. We went through over the years slowly tossed the bad memories ones only kept good ones. Why we held on to pictures of sad faces to visible bruises on us while at a persons wedding I never knew don’t know but their gone now. Tossed so many he’s erased might be 1 or 2 or none left. Will keep doing that until we only have the happy ones. I learned not to look back it doesn’t define me can only hold me back if I do. If it pops in my mind I remind myself wow look how far you’ve 2 have come. Only look at now y a little into the future. My family coming with me at first to counseling’s to lawyers even hair salons gave me the strength I needed being alone left to my already tired racing mind to wander y wonder where it shouldn’t go. Dad even gave me melatonin y herbal sleep teas for Daughter once rested wow you think clearer!
Hubby trying to switch to decaf coffee ☕️. He came home with creamy 70cal Bryers fudge bars. 5cal crystal light flavored teas. Making a lot of food changes now as the last of the fattening foods are getting used up only a few bad items coming in getting easier to eat healthy.
JRs tablet of Lord setting it ups a headache 🤕 I don’t recognize half the titles anymore. Well my Lord what’s 👧 girls? What’s boys? What’s unisex? I know who the Care Bears are but who’s these Disney Descendants? Telling you feeling old. I made a 2nd account so I can fully set it up ,but the 1st one he can play now it’s set for 2yr old I already purged it. The new account will be 2-13+ so I can raise age limit but not have to reset it up each time! Needing it to be set to 2-4yrs soon on 2 1/2birthday mark
Annie- Your meal sounds delicious 😋. Yummy

Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie here, just joined. I need to lose over 100 lbs and it's daunting. But you have to start somewhere so I'm starting. I'm looking for MFP friends who are on a similar journey or who are positive and motivated. I have an open food diary to friends. Thanks and looking forward to being with a great group of losers Kate12

Katla - Many good thoughts for your husband's visit with the surgeon, and that you're able to get your yoga in. You need stress relief too!
TL;DR. The stuff I've had to do today and yesterday to get everything replaced.- So... took my passport and my vehicle registration to the DMV this morning (DFA in Arkansas) and got my driver's license replaced. Bonus, also got the glasses restriction off by passing the eye test. It was a mistake that it was put on there anyway, I think. The lady saw me use reading glasses to look at something the last time I went in and assumed I needed them to drive, when I actually don't. I'm farsighted, which actually helps when you're driving!
- Miracle of miracles, got through to the VA people on a Monday morning and got my VA medical card re-issued, should be here within 7-10 days, but won't need it for a few months, so no hurry.
- Cancelled all my personal credit cards (3) and my debit card and my husband's, which I happened to have with me (long story) and the work credit card, and will be keeping a sharp eye on the mailbox in the days to come for their replacements.
- Ordered a replacement social security card online, which to me was WAY too easy. Need to get one for my husband, too, as his is so worn and tattered it's barely readable now.
- Placed both a credit freeze and a fraud alert with all three major credit bureaus. No one can lift the credit freeze without a PIN number, and the PIN is different for each bureau. I've also separately signed up for a fraud alert. "A fraud alert is a statement in your credit reports that alerts anyone reviewing the reports that you may be a victim of fraud or identity theft. This alerts creditors and lenders that they should perform more-thorough vetting — such as calling to check whether you’re actually at a particular store trying to take out new credit — when verifying your identity before extending credit in your name."
- Will be changing all the automatic payments that come out of those credit cards as soon as the replacements are in. There was only one due this week, and I temporarily put one of my husband's cards on that one.
But, other than that, Monday is just rocking right along. Lost a couple pounds over the weekend. Chopping lots and lots of brush when it's 90-something degrees outside is quite therapeutic.
Love y'all,

Cous Cous is a breaded rice 1/4cup is a portions size before cooking. 160cal I add only olive oil or butter tsp ,water,y veggies to meat can be added. It’s really quick frying pan bring to boil then dump the Cous Cous in stirring awhile till liquids gone then into a bowl with lid or Tupperware or put lid on pan so it gets more moist. Then serve I make 4servings at once so Tupperware then measure out 1/4th.

PinkShamrock aka Kate: Welcome to a great group of losers. The ladies here are generous and kind, in my opinion. When I started I needed to lose 70 pounds. I measured my portions using scoops and a food scale. I still use the scoops regularly, and the food scale occasionally. I lost the weight, but it has crept up just a bit. I’m in the zone that MFP says is right for me, but my injured knee says I’m too heavy and causing low grade pain. Now I’m working on getting those extra pounds back off. Many of us have been here quite a while and new people are welcome. :flowerforyou:
Lisa: Thanks for your kind words.
Heather: Thank you for sharing the beautiful photo of you and your friend.
Thanks to those who suggested mint as a deterrent to ants. I called the county extension office and was advised to buy mint oil and spray it wherever I see ants. The mint plants will not be good companions to our Rhododendrons.

I too believe that my vertigo episodes do more to my head than I realize! I did not have any yesterday, and slept so good last night. Eldest son needed to get his van repaired, so he dropped it off on Friday, husband went and got him. So we are without our car until it gets fixed. So just going on walks today for exercise. No gym.
