Went to the extremepump class today. The plan for tomorrow is to use the stairstepper

Amber – I seem to remember when Jess was here last, she made some pickles. I don’t remember her putting much (if any) salt in them. I remember her cutting up cukes and soaked them in vinegar. I don’t remember what all went into them. Try looking online and you might be able to find a recipe for salt-less (or low salt) pickles. I’ll be glad to help you with that bag of apples. As a matter of fact, I’ll probably get some later today to make more applesauce. I keep my flour in the freezer so that bugs don’t get into it. Maybe you can do the same with rice? Update: the applesauce was good, but I’m wondering how economical it is? Guess I’ll have to check prices next time I’m at the store

After exercise stopped at the Salvation Army (didn’t get anything) and then Aldi (only got a few things). Bowling in a few. Then mahjongg tonight. No ceramics as they’re closed

Annie – lol your exercise step!

Tuesday here: went on the stairstepper today. The plan for tomorrow is to do Jillian Michael’s Burn Fat Boost Metabolism DVD.

Karen VA – have you suggested to your partner she use the Chilipad? If so, what was her response?

    Welcome, welcome, welcome everyone new!

In a way, I feel bad for the lady who owns the gym I went to today. My membership was $300. Now that I’m on Silver and Fit (going to be Silver Sneakers next time I enroll in Medicare) I am (I think) supposed to pay $50. I really only used it about once a month, so that’s probably all I’ll use it this year.

Katla – I hear ya about having a yoga teacher. We used to have one that was at a time that I could make it. It’s good to go occasionally even if you’re doing DVD’s because many times you think you’re doing something right but you really aren’t. Unfortunately, there aren’t any classes around here at a time that works for me.

Rebecca – you certainly covered everything this group does. I’d just add signing your post with your name and a way to identify you from others with the same name

Rummikub tonight. I’m crocheting a Christmas tree skirt right now and my count is off. So I’m going to go to Rummikub early tonight and a gal said she’d help me. I’m certain it has to be some real stupid thing that I’m doing. Like last time my count was off, it’s because I was thinking I was on one row when I was really on another Update: I was counting stitches and not spaces, so that's why it was off. I knew it was something dumb.

Love all the baby pictures! Boy, we sure to have a lot of cute babies (and older kids, too). What are we doing right?

Thermostats – interestingly, Vince and I don’t seem to have a hot/cold issue

Camping – what word was created to describe a luxurious style of camping? Glamping. That’s really a word

Tracey – when I was young, I had to get some teeth pulled in order to make room for my braces. The dentist (or whatever they’re called) put a mask over my face to put me to sleep. To this day, I still get anxious about a mask. Whenever I have any type of procedure, I always ask the anesthesiologist to be sure that I’m knocked out before he puts any type of mask over my face. That would really freak me out.

M Oz- They said the same about Dad.He did crossword puzzles (I remember him frustrated but got proud when he reached 6 answers out of a whole book of them, read the Bible start to finish, retook his college later on as his memory improved, etc he is still healing with 1/2 his brain is permanently shut down plus early onset of dementia. Took a lot of years to get up to those 6 crossword puzzle words done. He has retrained his only working half of his brain to do some of what the other side did.Sure pieces still die off on MRIs lost another speck to area but he has built himself up. Took forever to find a working epileptic seizure medicine that fully worked. He had to retrain himself with physical therapy then on his own when the care stopped just to hold a glass. He drives again to does stuff he used to not be able to do. Usually takes my Uncle with him who knows if he’s about to have another heart attack, diabetes issue, brain issue,or etc. That’s more so I don’t worry cause my Tio y Aunt want me to worry about JR since he’s a baby y so my Dad can lead a normal elderly lifestyle of dinner with friends to grocery shopping or even watching a basketball 🏀 game at a high school or trip somewhere. His Sisters older than him well into her 70’s her husband is older than her so they lean on each other to do tasks. My father cannot fully live on his own but can live in a separate home on the property with my Aunt. He refuses to move in with me because JRs loud ,hyper,y it makes Dad nervous.

Unsweetened Apple pie filling 7 servings in 1 $1.something can 30 cal each servings. Ate 1 serving was delicious 😋 treat. I’m not putting it in a pie instead eating it cold or heated on a pie plate as just 5 apples with its creamy cinnamon pie stuff not sweet tasting more like an crisp Apple with some filling jelly. Was wonderful think it be perfect on ice cream ,by itself, in a pastry 🥮, cottage cheese topping, etc. Sugarfree so yummy y healthy to keep diabetes away ! I recommend it Amber approved comes in cherry 🍒 too

Also recommend Jello brand Sugarfree puddings lots of flavors now more than 6! To Sugarfree Jello brand Jello .Offbrands don’t got it right yet. Sugarfree fat free Jello white chocolate pudding even! Saving for later . Considering banana cream too

Michele NC- yeah my cousin said his MIL makes salt free. I only know how to make salt pickles. Need to find out as soon as JRs not under foot buy me some more canning jars get to work on that. Someone told me you can buy salt free pickles in the store but so far haven’t found them.

Bag of apples 🍎 thinking of making fish cause I love apple slices with tilapia . Also a few Apple salads. Hubby taking a few to work. He tossed one in the yard said here raccoon 🦝.I went grabbed it not about to start feeding that beast! He can move on with his female companions before I have raccoon babies everywhere! I didn’t think about applesauce I got all the ingredients for that. Might consider it since applesauce can be used to bake even.

If my husband were younger, he might have "a lot of years" to work with. Unfortunately, he's battling age too ... he's 12 years older than me.

    "Todo"s and "done"
Done Tuesday: tire swap, chiropractor, invest 10 mins cleaning LR, Post Office missing pkg inquiry, line dance
Bonus: ‘nother load laundry, 32 mins cleaning MBth/Laundry/Kitchen,.
ToDo: labs, BB&B, annual tests, call about turnout drying racks, invest 10 mins cleaning Guest Bth & Bd, carryover 10 mins cleaning Office, veg prep, board meeting minutes, reconcile checking accout/credit card invoice, dog group, pack, dust bookshelves, bake bran muffins, call Carolyn.

Didn’t feel like dancing, decided not to go to class, picked up my phone to text friend to let her know I wouldn’t be there, ACK!
Black screen, dead battery despite being plugged in to charge. Panic! All my info for Thursday’s trip is in there, addresses for Dermatologist, Motel, Bottle Drop, Winco, Trader Joe’s…. Oh NOOO! Jiggled cord, nothing. Plugged into car and started to charge so phone ok, just the stupid, fragile, charging cord. Think I’m on my third one. Foo. Jiggled cord again and it charged up to 30 % by the time to leave for dance class. Yup, I went. Help comes in mysterious ways. Will buy another charging cord tomorrow, just in case. Surprised at how dependent on it I’ve become, felt really disconnected, all at sea.

Lanette that’s a great idea, was going to approach coach Ken when I thought to check out YouTube. Here’s one:

Barbara - many, many thanks for Ken's "Why we fall" video. Boomer Life Support, lol. Love it. <3 How lucky you are to have an instructor like him. (I am presuming the Ken in the video is your Ken?) I'm watching Part 1 then will continue on with Part 2. Like the idea of a Part 3!

House envy - more to clean, more to keep up, more to pay taxes on. :D I miss the 1930's house we had on the farm with its weird added-on rooms. And the ghost of a Chehalis Indian tribe member rumored to be buried beneath it who I constantly saw out of the corner of my eye. Friendly sort.

Our current suburban house is more expensive all the way around and boring, besides. :/ My next dream house would be a sturdy, small old one similar to the farmhouse we left but closer to town with much less yard. I know there are some out there... when the time is right, we will find each other.

Make it a fabulous Wednesday, ladies! <3
