Pip: I’ve got the address. Thanks!
Heather: I hope your DH will take care of any medical concerns. He is a delightful partner for you and you are happy together. :flowerforyou:
Karen: Thanks. I have an address for my donation.
Allie: I love the photos. Thank you for sharing!!!
Michele: I freeze my blueberries, too, and then defrost them before I put them on my cottage cheese for breakfast. DH has started having them for breakfast, too. It is a good way to start our day. :flowerforyou:
(((Rori))) I am so sorry your DH is experiencing sundowners. Nothing about this is easy. I hope you are able to stay safe if there are possible anger episodes.

Got everything out to make the next meals try to stay in my calories.Had to go over a few days (end of period needed extra vitamins to help it y something low cal yet sweet) .
Hubby finally getting on board told me what direction to go with his meals! Egg 🥚 with tomatoe bullion, pepper, green beans,y brown rice.
Mine will be the hamburger helper tetrazzini pasta (no meat of course I don’t follow the directions getting my unsweetened almond milk in to other needs like spinach), mash potatoes bacon cheddar flavored with unsweetened almond milk 🥛,shrimp, salad with spinach y Apple pieces .

The church here has a soup dinner every Friday during Lent. Unfortunately, I already signed us up for the pot luck here. And we’re leaving next Friday
Michele who wishes she had her heavy pants to wear over her exercise shorts tomorrow.

Hi Gals,
Sorry I have not been sharing, but I have been reading where and when I can.
Allie – great pictures, what an interesting place! You look so happy in the pictures!
Rori and others dealing with brain injuries and brain diseases in loved ones- All I can say is WOW you gals are heros.
New folks – Welcome!
All the other pictures, pups, grandbabies, kids, - so fun!
I work at a kids camp (part time as the organic gardener) and am the oldest, my VP is 51 and most of the staff is 21-31 years. In my personal life I have become a good Aunt/God Mom and am happy in that role, and pull it out when needed at camp. My co-workers are just learning to make choices completely on their own, and sometimes need an Aunt. These are the folks that were at my home for the Wedding shower I posted pictures of. Well there has been some upheaval at camp – nothing of any real bother, most of us could have solved it with a few minutes sitting in the sun with a cuppa tea – it’s mostly a communication issue, but oh how it has festered and finally raised it’s ugly head as a huge boil! I ended up with the VP staying at my house last weekend while we drank tea and talked, then drank vodka and laughed. She is as clueless at the young ones but with no legitimate excuse. Now I am working as a mediator (Aunt) helping heal some of the hurt feelings and lack of communication, coaching them all. I do think some of the staff will end up leaving (the job is seasonal their contract is over in June – but all have been asked back for the next season starting in August). But hopefully all will have learned something about themselves and about listening. But that has taken many an hour and leaves me exhausted, there is more ahead.
I have however found time for at least an hour each day in my yard, which is the best thing in the world for me as self care. I will also say that through all of this I have been so grateful and thankful for my own counselor who has gotten me through so much in 25 years of seeing her, and taught me to have boundaries, to listen, to hear, to clarify and to accept that we each have our own reality. I need to reach out to her to say thanks. I think I’ll write her a note.

Typical Tasmanian summer weather.
It's just drizzling here but is probably snowing at higher elevations.
We're caught in a great swirl from Antarctica -- the land mass below Tasmania. The land mass above Tasmania is mainland Australia.

Kim - So glad your wisdom , gained over so many hard years, came in so very useful. Is there any chance you could get a raise for this? It seems to be a higher level job description. Nice idea to write a note to your counsellor. A hand made card?
DH has his recall blood test today at 12.03. Weird time. I am convincing myself that it is just his enlarged prostate. He will hate any investigation or biopsy. Boo.
Going to make my old friend Easy Crustless Spinach and Feta Pie today for dinner. Haven't made it for ages. It's from Skinnytaste, for those who don't know it. I like having leftovers for the next day's lunch. We usually eat two portions each for dinner.

Good morning,
Icy spots on roads so will leave a little early to get to class. Normally an hour drive I expect will take a little more time since I will need to keep my foot more gently on the gas pedal.
Actually walked away from husband at work yesterday. I offered a suggestion and he threw a tantrum. Don't treat me like I am 2. All i made was a suggestion keeping his thought processes in mind-😬 upside is I got more of my work done. I called SIL to make sure she had a way to get to work today as her car was in the shop. No she wasn't at work again. Yes she left at 1 on Monday. No she wasn't at work on Tuesday. She's sick again. She did get her car back (her soon to be ex picked it up for her). She said she would be at work today, but will probably only stay until after Donovan unloads the semi coming in. 😡 I love being needed, but would appreciate a little recognition for my contributions some times. Anyway, will head to class, then back to work. Cause that is what I do. Our customers depend on me.
Allie- What a wonderful adventure! Love the pictures! You do look happy. My goal is to fly first class one of these days. I looked at first class to the Philippines, but a lot out of my price range as well as for my other 3 friends. Glad you are safely home!
Pip- thank you! Will do today!
Ladies, gotta get a shower and get going. Don't want to be running behind.
Make today a great day!

Machka- Great job on the stairs! Almost to the finish line!1

Allie - thank you so much, made it so much more real with the pictures of you, too.
Karen NY - glad there's a diagnosis and treatment to help.
Karen VA - thanks for the pic of Josephine. Hope the chemo was successful.
Kim - I agree with Heather, there should be a raise in that for you. You're an amazing woman.
Heather - hope the blood results show just required changes or something easily fixable that Johnny will submit to fixing. From Harvard Health: "Men who have marital partners also live longer than men without spouses; men who marry after age 25 get more protection than those who tie the knot at a younger age, and the longer a man stays married, the greater his survival advantage over his unmarried peers."
Last in-town meeting for the week at 10:30 a.m., the guy bringing and installing the dishwasher is supposed to be here sometime this afternoon, and I have a teleconference from 1 to 4 p.m. Oh, and the dentist in the morning tomorrow, but that should be just my six-month cleaning.
Talking of dentists trying to upsell, when I was in late last year, I told them I tend to grind my teeth when I'm stressed, and they offered to create a mouthguard for $470. Considering I can get a ten-count of them online for $12.99, I declined.
Just one more week and my daughter will be here with my soon-to-be-five-year-old granddaughter and two-month old grandson. Debating on whether to try to super clean in advance or have her help me do the spring cleaning while she's here. Probably the latter.
Love y'all,
Later,
Lisa in AR

Karen - Best wishes to Josephine. Kids are amazing. I hope treatment continues to go well.
At the singing on Tuesday we sang Happy Birthday to Megan, one of the Downs Syndrome teenagers who come and join in every week. We were sitting next to the guy who has the best voice of all of us. He talked to us a bit and told us he was hit over the head (he didn't say how) 17 years ago and he has had to relearn almost everything. He is only in the last few years able to study new things and enjoy life. He is an older guy and I admire his determination. I thought of Machka and realised how grateful I am for the education she has given us about brain injury as I was able to listen to him with understanding, even when he rambled a bit.
