"My ex- is doing the same thing and also visiting my grandchildren. In order to remain sane, I have let go of the outcome. Well, not really. Just posting about it makes my eyes moist. He is putting 5 family members at risk because he thinks he knows better.

Karen V- I can’t put a lot of stuff on JR the list I took picture of has those lotions. We look like a lotion y cream shop here. Got Many types each for something else only 1 diaper cream has worked for us. Some that work for eczema inflame the keratosis vice versa .Been finding a balance since his birth
Petroleum jelly type I clean him very well apply after every change. Hubby managed to get 4 tubes when we saw this all coming .
Soaps only 2 have been safe on him Johnson y Johnson y Aveeno we try to get ones with oatmeal .

JRs feet are getting wider y wider hard to get his shoes on.Expecting it to stop soon grow length wise before I know it then got to move up in shoe sizes. Gigantism growth spurts. Of course the hormones got his cheeks flared up so more creams y trying to keep it clean.2 -
terewilliams wrote: »DH works for USPS and is now on a 58 hour per week schedule. That's been physically hard on us as his reporting time is 4 am. But we are adjusting. Now when the clock goes off at 3 am I've adjusted to turn it off, shake him, and go back to sleep before he has gotten out of the bed.
Food for thought: When this is over there will be lots of clean houses, lots of babies and lots of divorces.

Tere - it's always good to see you. My husband works 55 to 60 hours every week throughout the spring and summer, and at 51 years old, it's really starting to hurt him, as it's a physical job. I'm lucky, as I'm up by 4 or 4:30 every morning - he is up at 4:45 and out the door at 5:15 a.m.
On the other thought - unfortunately, the domestic abuse hotlines are getting overwhelmed with those calls already. The ripples from this time are going to continue for years to come.
Love y'all,

We made it over there. Bea was happy to see us, but a bit confused as to why we had come. The older two were a bit sad.
On the way back we bought bread from a very hygienic bakery and veg from a Mediterranean store. I sanitised my hands during and have washed them three times during unpacking and after.

I had written a long post but then lost it so I'll comment on what I remember!
Karen ~ Congrats on your new job. It's good that people recognize as we get older we are still a needed part of society! I am sure your medical knowledge will benefit a lot of folks.
Janet OKC ~ Beautiful calming photo of your granddaughter and Jaxx. I know you are proud of them.
Amber ~ I have eczema around my lower legs and ankles. I contracted it when I first brought my Pom home and know that his really long puppy fur led to it. Lately, I have been using plain old vaseline on my very dry skin but have dr prescribed medication for when I get a bad flareup.
Oakie ~ Your common sense remarks to some posts are appreciated. Thank you for speaking your mind.
Amber ~ Those doggy toe nail pictures are gross.
Annie ~ I know how upset you must feel at your mom's continued disregard for staying in place.
BnL keeps sending emails requesting us to get him things that would require us getting out in public. His assisted living facility is on lock down for visitors and he just doesn't seem to get it. My husband is 72 and has 4 stents in his heart. He doesn't need to expose himself unless it is of vital importance. I am getting him things through Instacart and they will deliver to the door of the facility. Gets expensive though!
It's supposed to be bright and sunny here today but so far, it's just overcast.

Thank you for prayers! Initial blood work back and my WBC count is back up to 6.3! Apparently I have been fighting a yeast infection for 2.5 years without knowing it.5

Some of JRs lotions y his last sponge 🧽 (they were all bought up when cleaning home ones sold out here). Yes that’s all my antibacterial soap that’s left
Carol- Sure are When I worked at an animal shelter they were worse than that for ones cops removed even seen abused ones with burns ...of course the ones with burns investigators found the persons kids to also be abused as well in similar manners .
Domestic Hotline sure getting calls but how many need it the most the Abuser has taken phones away. Mine did that he even cut the outside wires. The calls are increased dramatically in some but not all areas, but they can still get help it’s just different looking .An advocate is by phone when they go to a hospital instead of in person they work even harder to place them but they don’t give up. They can call hotline, walk into a hospital right now ,or tell a boss some will help like Home Depot they offer help for it if their told,or call police even,go to family or friends home if they can. LAPD says their helping with emergency protective orders y temporary restraining orders. Depends on the city response plan or how their doing it at the moment. Some police have implemented a night watch detective for these cases . Some areas no increase ,decrease,y increase depends on the area right now in each countries locations.

Hello MFP friends. It has been quite a strange 2020, right? DH has been hospitalized twice once in Denver that resulted I. Multiple spevialist visits upon our return to Texas. He was diagnosised with H-Pyloric and given massive doses of antibiotics. Result was diarrhea for 40 days. Finally admitted to hospital in Dallas with C Diff. They were able to stop the diarrhea and get him hydrated so released him last Friday. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get all the medicine he needed so had to stay in Dallas. We were able to come home Monday afternoon and are so happy to be here.
I have had three injections in my eye so am able to drive thank goodness.
We have our puppy to walk and lots of weeds to pull. Lol
Karen - thank you for your posts of the videos. It really lifted my spirits.
Sorry I can’t go back and catch up but just know you have been In My thoughts.

Barbara - a trilogy is a series of three books that have the same characters and a continuous plot line. The trilogy I gave to my daughter is a Nora Roberts one. It is about a virus that changes the world. However if it also fanciful as it involves magics and such. I started the trilogy a couple years ago and just got the final two books for Christmas.2

Machka - so very happy that Rhody has joined your household. We've always loved black cats. Thanks for the link to your Flickr photos, I hadn't looked at them in a while. You live in a beautiful area.
Karen in VA -will your telemedicine job replace your Sunday clinic job? Sounds like your new office at home will be the perfect setup Can you see this becoming your new part-time job after you retire? (If you do.)
SuziQ - those jokes are awesome! Glad you had a good shopping trip yesterday, don't blame you for changing your mind about going to the nursery. Other days they'll be less crowded.
Michelle - I watched the COVID-19 update yesterday. It was short but one thing that popped out at me was that the new law requires private testing labs to report their results. So they'll be able to get a more accurate picture of what's happening. Hopefully it's showing that in some areas, our hand-washing, staying home and social distancing is paying off. Dr. Birx said that info should start coming in today if I heard her right.
Barbara - Pluto should get an award presenting health tips! LOL! Miniature Schnauzers might just become the most popular breed this year.
Our vet sent this out yesterday - I wonder if I could get Rosie to wear one:
OK ladies, make it a good day. I really enjoy seeing what's happening in everyone's life! HUGS all around!
