Cardio is harder for me in my mid 50's and I was pleasantly surprised when my fitbit said 129 avg bpm for this workout! I held my little 1.5 lb weights and jogged for most of the 30 sec intervals! 🙂

I've started back in the weight room 2x/week, while still following Sydney's workouts daily! Today started with a little over half of Sydney's workout this morning, followed by a short step routine. Then, after work, 3x10 squats, 3x8 bench, 3x3 pullups, 3x5 single leg deads, and finishing Sydney's workout with core, and some plie/bicep, glute bridge skull crushers.

I might take today off, I kinda loaded up on carb-y/salty food because my blood pressure apparently wants to hover in the 90ish/50ish range which makes me feel super iffy (happens. it's usually OK, but I'm not gonna push myself if I'm genuinely not feeling well)0 -
I'm also moving out this weekend, which means living in the upper floor of an apartment building and no more high impact/jumping exercise for me ;_;0

I did Sydney's full body burnout, a little step, and then 2 miles at the park after work. It was really hot. My car saide 104-106 after I pulled out of the shade. Tomorrow is forecasted to be hotter. No running outside planned!0

Forgive me for skipping to the end... but I just discovered virtual runs on YouTube and I love it! I don’t have a treadmill, just run in place in my living room. Know what I really want?
An interactive virtual race with a story, where you see video as the POV of the runner, and there are actors/ characters, maybe things you need to look for, or like a zombie chase! Of course it wouldn’t be truly interactive, you’d just be running along to a video. But it would be so much fun for me if there was an interesting story to feel like I was part of.

Hi, I'm back. Had to go to Fl to be as supportive as possible to my daughter and her family. I don't know if anyone heard about this on the news but my daughter's step-grandchildren (2 young teen boys) were brutally murdered in their home. So tragic and sad and senseless... My heart aches for all of them... just devastating...

So glad I found this thread - so many great YouTube ideas.
Today I did this 20 minute brisk walk with Leslie Sansone. I find that the 20 minute walks are great for days when I'm just dragging and don't want to exercise. Also for days when you're doing strength training and you just want a bit of cardio.3 -
