Hi! I'm Kris and I just turned 53 on Halloween. I'm 5'9 and my goal for November is to lose 5 lbs. I weigh myself daily already, but I tend not to log it every day because of the fluctuations. I'm looking forward to logging every day with a mantra that the fluctuations don't matter, just the overall trend.

My name is Chachi Jo, I'm 5'3, a Jersey native residing in Maryland. This week I am dealing with the highs and lows of weight loss and rebuilding my confidence. Today's workouts will consist of Mr. London's fupa challenge on YT along with several weight lifting exercises for push day. Praying this does not tip the scale but bracing myself for the possible gainz.

As of November 1st I’ve lost half of my originally targeted total loss. I’m now trying to decide whether to reduce my goal but I’m actually enjoying the process of logging and having to make solid food choices. Tracking everything keeps me in line as to my dietary components.
I’m also considering permanently tracking everything instead of what I did in the past. Which was lose 10 then 18 months later lose it again. I didn’t think I could succeed at proper maintenance but I’m going to give it a try. I’m accepting that there’s a way to integrate going out for dinner without being slavish and without it blowing everything up. Previously I felt like I had to do everything perfectly of not at all. Kind of my personality.
So I’m slowing loss to 1 lb a week and continuing that until I pull the plug on loss and go into maintenance which could happen before the end of the month.

Hi there! I’m Athena, I’ve been struggling on and off with my weight for a good while and was recommended to try accountability buddies to help each other reach our goals. Thought this would be a good route for that! Let’s see if we can survive turkey day! 😆
My plan for the weeks ahead are to focus on eating at home and only go out to eat on Saturdays/Sundays (restaurant/fast food) and to focus on portion controlling. I’m also planning to work out for an hour three times a week.

Hi all!
I've never joined a challenge before, and I'm looking forward to this.
I'm 55. 5'9". At my happiest, I wore size 4 and 6 jeans--that was 13 years ago. Gained a ton; then lost most of it and got into shape about four years ago; then over the last four years, gained everything back and then some. Currently in size 10 jeans (that are kinda tight) and size L tops.
I decided on October 5th (while trying on bathing suits for a trip) that "THIS IS IT!"
Starting weight: 180 - 10/5/2021
Current weight: 174.4
November Goals: Lose 5 pounds, log food every day, resist extra treats, exercise 3-4 times per week, increase spinning time to 30 minutes (from 20 now), and work with weights at least 1 day per week.
One Year Goal (my niece's wedding): Size 8 jeans and medium tops. (That's around 140 pounds.) Feeling good about my body again.

Hubby had a crappy night last night so operating on very little sleep today. The heat is coming in so I think I shall just concentrate on my diary and not stress to much about steps

Going to have a couple of wines tonight before hubby’s last chemo and a full on few days that follow. Anticipating a gain but ok with that for tonight
