What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

To not become diabetic. My numbers are border line right now. So need to lose the weight and learn to maintain a healthy diet. Anything beyond that would be amazing!11

Reaching my lowest post-bariatric weight of 174 pounds (I had a small regain from 2020-2022 and I'm now in the upper 190s). Then after that small goal, I would like to get below 154lbs, which was the lowest I have weighed my entire adult life (I'm 5'5" for reference lol). I am also trying to focus on other signs of toning and weight loss that don't necessarily show up on the scale, such as pants fitting better, smaller shirt size, sleeping better, etc.9

Ok. The “event” was my daughters engagement! And I lost the 5 pounds. I even lost another pound that weekend ( too much going on to eat much….which is unheard of for me). Now 6 lbs more in the next year or so before the ( no exact date yet) wedding. To get to my high school weight. It may be a bit unrealistic but I’m ok if I don’t achieve it.

My mini goal right now is to get into the 200's. I'm so close I can taste it. Only .6 of a pound to go. It was an end of Sept. goal to be in the 200's. Happened faster than I figured. I'm so stoked. Was at 328 mid May....to hit 299 would make my month!! Keeps me steady and strong.

Intake goal met!
Updated goals:
Weight: 250 lbs
Fitness: 10,000 steps/day 3x/week (on-days) with 5,000 steps/day 4x/week (off-days)
Intake: 14 days within 100 kcal +/- target
I've met all three mini goals.
Updated goals:
Weight: <250 lbs trending average
Fitness: 10k steps 3x/week, 6k steps 3x/week, 5k rest day; with strength training 3x
Intake: 21 days within goal range (now tightening goal range to 50 kcal +/- target)
Well, it's been an interesting near-month since I last posted. Went through a period where I was clinging to the wagon by my fingernails, so to speak, so revamped and rolled back the fitness and intake goals.
I met the weight goal about 2 weeks ago.
Here's my updated mini-goals:
Weight: trending average below 247.2. This is the 10% to healthy BMI marker.
Fitness: complete a week consisting of: 10k steps 3x, 5.5k steps 3x, and one 5k steps "rest day" with 3x strength training
Intake: one week within 50 kcals +/- target kcals
Met the weight one sometime around a week ago I think. Also met the fitness one.
Updated mini-goals:
Weight: trending average below 245
Fitness: one week's step goals of: 10k 3x, 6.5k 3x, 5k 1x, with 3x strength training
Intake: one week within 50 kcal +/- target6 -

To smoke everyone in the Garmin Weekly 70k Step Challenge (Yeah I know very petty). More like a mini mini mini goal. In conjunction with a calorie deficient, it has the wonderful side affect of weight loss (Main Goal).9

I've basically been maintaining for the past year, my weight going up and down the same 5 pounds and hovering just at above the overweight category into the obese category. Well, my weight is finally shifting down again thanks to intermittent fasting. I really want to get clearly into the overweight category. Just 2 pounds to go! I hope to hit that before Halloween! Can't wait!8

Well it’s taken me bloody months to get properly back in the game, but I’m now 1.2kgs away from my first mini goal of 95kgs. That should be taken care of next week 😊7

Mini goal one - increase fitbit steps from 4k to 5k. Mini goal two - Removing the once a day binge snacking. All my meals are doing well, still binge snacking once a day. However that is down from doing it all day long.11

My mini goal at the moment is holiday related. I want to be back to where I was before my holiday wrt to my exercise. My holiday exercise was walking only, plus the walks generally speaking were not as far as normal. Enough to not loose momentum. I have given myself 4 weeks for that but think I may beat that.7

My mini goals for the next week are to spend the next few days in a small deficit to make up for the surplus this weekend, and to hit a new weight low next weekend. I should be on track to be about a half pound under last month.9

20 year anniversary of college.
Challenged myself to be as fit as when I was 17.
Not sure if physically possible at 37, it's been really tough, but I think I'm getting close. Kinda.8 -
My mini goal is 25 pound by Christmas and be able to maintain it for the holidays.

I reached my most recent mini goal on Friday, which was to hit the 50 lbs lost threshold. My new mini goal is to lose another 4.4 lbs in order to move from the obese category into the overweight category for my height.8

Well done! After a year you're well and truly 'over' smoking. I stopped in 2015, and never looked back - for a while I would see people smoking and have a weird kind of envy, but I promise this will go away in time!9 -
