    July Goal: 130 Miles

    7/1: 4.02 miles
    7/2: 6.02 miles
    7/3: 6.02 miles
    7/4: 6.26 miles
    7/7: 11.27 miles
    7/8: 3.30 miles
    7/10: 6.52 miles
    7/11: 6.02 miles

    49.42/130 miles completed for July

I did not get up good this morning and got a bit of late start, but I did manage to get 6 miles in. It was about the same weather as yesterday. 75°F, 73% humidity and dew point 66°. It's not the greatest weather, but about as good as it gets in Texas in July. So I had another nice run. And since I got out later it was light the whole time too. I almost had negative splits. I was a little slower on mile 5 than on 3 and 4, but other than that they were all negative. And 5 was faster than 1. Overall, I was faster than yesterday, and I felt good about the run.

@martaindale I can't believe you are still without power. That has to be so stressful especially since you are trying to get ready for your trip. I do hope that y'all have a great time in Japan.

    @tarun_yadavA Nice shoes!

    July 1 – 5.01 miles
    July 3 – 5.10 miles
    July 4 – 3.60 miles
    July 6 – 7.02 miles
    July 8 – 4.51 miles
    July 9 – 3.01 miles
    July 11 – 5.00 miles
    Total 33.25 miles/ Goal 100 miles

I got in 5 miles this morning. Ran with a couple of friends for the first 3 and then did 2 more on my own. The weather was fantastic. My car read 63F and Garmin said it was 59F when we started at 5:00 am.

@martindale - I really hope your electricity comes back on this evening. Will your cleaning lady or someone be able to check on the house if you are gone when it comes back on? I always worry about things left "on."

Nice shoes @tarun_yadavA and what a busy bar!

@chris_in_cal - are you a converted morning runner now?

    Great running everyone!

@martaindale So sorry that you don't have power back on yet. The timing is horrible since your trip starts tomorrow. I hope you do get it back on before you leave. Good idea to charge devices at work. I'm also sorry that your kid is still not well. I hope the trip doesn't make his ears worse. I'm sure you asked the doctor about flying again and it's okay. I just hope it isn't painful for them. Enjoy your trip! I'm glad your in-laws live so close and can keep an eye on things and make sure everything is "off" that needs to be once the power does come back on,

Great use of your time to get in your run today @ContraryMaryMary .

Great running and love the shoe and food porn @tarun_yadavA . That's a huge sports bar. I don't think we have anything like that in the USA...not that I have ever seen.

@yirara Glad today's run went better. Sorry to hear your diagnosis. I'm sure it does help a little to know that there is something going on and there is reason things are the way they are. Is there anything they can do to make it better?

Sounds like you did great with the harder workout @Laurz9191 .

    Nice running @kgirlhart !

The weather was great this morning @Teresa502 . Great running.

@shanaber Happy Anniversary. I'm glad you had a nice get away and was able to get in some walking with great views.

When we left home the power was still out. We're up to 96 hrs now with no end in sight.

Wow. I am sorry regarding this bad timing. Hopefully an escape to a wonderful trip will heal it all. Bon Voyage.

@VO2Maxlet Why did you hate Wednesday's run? I say if trying to run in Zone 2 is making running too hard and stressful, don't do it. You're not being graded or paid based on how low you keep your HR. Maybe you should try running by feel instead of HR and see if that helps. I know you want to prevent injuries, but you also want to keep running and keep in shape. You're mental health is also important. Of course, I'm no expert, so feel free to ignore any or all of my advice.

Oooh. I like those shoes @noblsheep . I hope they weren't the cause of a slower run.

@yirara Just knowing that there is a diagnosis can be a big mental help. I'm sorry there won't be much they can do for it. Glad that knowing what it is will help you get through some of your other procedures and things life throws at you. Sorry the weather stopped you from running, but sounds like you really didn't mind that much.

Nice run when you were low on energy @Laurz9191 . Enjoy your rest day.

    Thanks @tarun_yadavA ! Nice run!

Great running @AmunahSki ! You ARE running. Anytime both feet are off of the ground at the same time, it's a run! I think you are doing great. Congrats on your PRs.

Nice treadmill run @Scott6255 . Happy Anniversary to you and your wife! Have a great weekend celebrating!

@martaindale Wow. That's horrible that your power has been off so long. I hope your in-laws find a hotel they can get into...maybe as others get their power back, rooms will become available. I'm glad you made your flight and had some AC at the airport. Have a safe trip and enjoy your vacation!

Nice run @kgirlhart . It's funny how after a few days "cooler" weather still feels unbearably hot.

Sorry your run wasn't a good one @Mari33a . Hopefully the next one will be better.

Sounds like a really fun run @emptydog .

Great run @ContraryMaryMary . Congrats on matching your PB!

You are doing great @chris_in_cal !

Great longer run @tarun_yadavA ! The toddlers were pretty good yesterday. The day before, not so much.

Nice workout @Laurz9191 . Enjoy your time with your parents! You may just have to get up before they do and go out for a run - or after they settle for the night.
