Thank you so much Laurie. I think the only strength I have is to move my body around.
Wednesday Is my colonoscopy and endoscopy prep day. I have to start drinking 1/2 the solution at 5:30pm and the second half at 2:30am. My procedures start at 7am on Thursday.
DH's boss told him his PT position has been approved. We're very thankful for that.
Great job upping your weights! I keep thinking I want to get Caroline's app.
I don't know if the rain was going sideways. Good point!
I'm glad'you found Arash on Instagram.
I likethe looks of this guy's food too.
See you tomorrow!

Morning Thelma,
DH and I did a Full Body Stretch for Flexibility & Mobility with PJ. DH did okay, we really do need to make stretching a regular thing for us. This morning I did Power Yoga with Chris Freytag.
Oh I do feel for you with that prep for your tests. Hope everything goes well for you.
Congrats to your DH! I'm sure that is a relief to see that approval.
DH and I will have to try Caroline again at some point. I was having to much knee pain when doing her workouts. I'm sure it was because of the many lunges that she does.
Thanks for the link. Just glancing at the finished food looks delish.
Have a great day!

Hi Laurie,
Great job with that stretching workout. Stretching is very important. Hopefully, you'll be able to do more of it when you retire.
Wednesday was about keeping busy, so I wouldn't think about how hungry I was. I survived on sugar free lemon Jello, water, green tea and apple white grape juice.
I kept myself busy cleaning, reading a boo, baking bread for DH and a little indoor walking. Mentally I wasn't going crazy thinking about food, but my stomach wouldn't let me forget it needed food. The solution I'm drinking is actually OK, but it's 4 liters of it! I hope everything will be normal.
We are relieved and thankful about DH'S job.
Did you ever check The Knees Over guy? He may have aomething to help you with your knees.
See you tomorrow!

Morning Thelma,
DH and I did the Full Body workout with Cheryl again. Both of us felt is was tough going through the third round, so we both must have had tired muscles from the previous workout.
Good job keep yourself busy. For sure it is tough when you are hungry. I found coffee helped me with the hunger.
I will have to check out the knee guy. If I don't do lunges to often, my knees feel so much better. I also just make lunges non weight bearing. That has help so much.
Have a great day!

Hi Laurie, good job with the full body workout!
I slept two hours on Wednesday night. Everything was normal with my endoscopy and colonoscopy, and I won't need them for 10 years. The doctor took a couple of biopsies just to make sure there weren't any diseases such as celiac. I can't remember what the other thing was called. This is all because I was having digestive issues, not because he found something. My stomach got better since I started eating Greek yogurt with protein powder first thing in the mornings. I'm sure the thing that's helping is the yogurt, not the protein.
They really release you as fast as possible out of that imaging facility because they do about 30 procedures a day. I was pretty unsteady when they walked me out. No wheelchair! They walk you out. The staff that took care of me was wonderful and the nurse who did the IV needle was very gentle.
OMG, drinking that solution at 2:30 in the morning was very hard. I couldn't finish the entire jug. I finally was able to take a good nap in the afternoon. Of course, I felt even more tired after that.
I managed to do a little low impact walk workout.
Have a great weekend!

Morning Thelma,
We had a very nice weekend. I took off Friday, just didn't want to be at work. Spent the day sewing. Saturday I was baking for a celebration of Easter with DH's brother & SIL. The girls where there, so it was a good time.
On Friday our workout was PJ's EMOM Bodyweight Workout. We didn't workout on Saturday or Sunday, just to busy with me baking and then Sunday we didn't get home until after 5pm.
So glad to hear all went well with your procedure. I had that same experience with the solution at that time of the morning. It took everything I had to get through most of it. I basically said I can't drink anymore of this stuff. 😀 Interesting that they where pushing you out so fast. They had me in a room and DH was there. They wouldn't let me go until I ate something, and then they made sure I was able to walk. Of course the most interesting thing was they had a police incident when I was waiting for the procedure to start. Some guy was running around the outside of the building with a gun. I had forgotten about that.
Good job getting in a workout.
Have a great day!

Hi Laurie. I went to yoga for the first time since my kitty died. Everyone was wondering where I'd been. They all started hugging me after I told them about my kitty. I totally lost it.
We had a glorious day. It was sunny, 80 wirh a nice cool breeze.
My workouts were walong, power yoga and CG Iron Day 22 -Chest and Back.
I made air fried blackened tilapia with a salas for dinner. I mDe DH eat radish and he didn't even know it! LOL. I chopped the radish in my little mini food chopper.
The imaging clinic I went to didn'teven offer me water..after the procedure.
See you tomorrow!

Morning Thelma,
Our workout yesterday was PJ's Back & Biceps Workout. This one was a drop set, and I went as heavy as I could handle. This morning was power yoga.
Great job with your workouts!
How wonderful that your yoga family gave you such a warm welcome back, and giving you such support in your grief.
Nice job with the hidden veggie in your recipe. 😉 I would have to do the same thing with my DH, he doesn't like radishes either.
Love the warm weather, we had 60's yesterday and today is in the low 40's.
Have a great day!

Great workouts Laurie!

Morning Thelma,
Great job with your workouts! I had that same thing after yesterday's workout, just hungry.
DH and I did PJ's Chest & Tricep Workout. This one was another drop set, and those triceps where really worked good. Of course I used as heavy as I could handle.
Can't believe that you are already done with this rotation. I'm sure that the next rotation will be a nice change of pace. I'm looking at what DH and I will be doing come June when we have more time to spend on our workout. Of course I'm looking at the food also, just need to change things up for us. I want to get away from the last meal we have being heaviest one of the day.
We are finally seeing some growing plants, and those daffodils just might be here for Easter. Of course it is still pretty dang cold here, so everything is coming up slowly.
Yesterday the grocery store just to the east of our building had a fire. It started with the garbage and pallets, but because of the wind it got onto the roof. They did get it under control, but that really could have been much worse.
Have a great day!

Hi Laurie! Wednesday's workouts were walking and CG Iron Day 23 - Hamstrings and Glutes. I used a medium resistance band that I have that seems to be more like heavy resistance. It made the hip thrusts more challenging. I used my 55# barbell for the first time to do bridges. I think my glutes and hamstrings will be talking to me tomorrow.
We have had very high winds since Monday. They finally died down on Wednesday afternoon.
I wasn't starving on Wednesday like I was on Tuesday.
Great workouts Laurie! I have five more Iron workouts to do. I am going to skip the full boy workouts.
Good idea to start looking at your workouts in post-retirement and diet too.
I'm glad you're finally seeing signs of life in your garden!
How scary about your supermarket! I'm so glad they got the fire under control.
See you tomorrow!

Morning Thelma,
Great job with the workouts! That isn't many workouts left, and don't think that the full body will be missed. Hope your glutes are okay today with all that work.
Our workout yesterday was PJ's Inner & Outer Thigh Workout. This one was a good one. This morning was Kelly's Trim Down Boxing Drills Premix.
The headache season is starting now that things are starting to bud around here. Of course we had the wind like you did so who knows what was getting picked up in that also.
It is so nice to start seeing some green around here, it seems to be so long that we haven't seen anything but brown. 😂
Have a great day!

Hi Laurie,
My workouts on Thursday were walking and CG Biceps. It was a 20 minute workout. I loved the format because it was 20 seconds on followed by another 20 seconds of pulsing, then maybe a 20 second break. It is the type of format I hope to do when I do the single body part rotation. I want to use the DVDs as guides on what exercise to do, but my goal will be to lift heavy and with fewer reps. Hopefully, not more than 5 reps, on those moves I can lift heavy on. For shoulders I'll have to work on building up my strength. I still have 5 more Iron workouts to do.
Neither my glutes or hamstrings were sorel
We are going to be in the low 80's Friday through Sunday. In the 70's next week. I'm sorry about pollen season. it does hit you hard.
Have a great wekend!

Hi Ladies, I hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was nice and busy as always.
The weather was beautiful. We were in the 80's, but it was not hot or humid. There was a slight cool breeze. It felt more like 70's to me.There were two fires in our county over the weekend. One was about 40 acres. The forestry department and neighoring fire departments had to get involved. The forstry department provided fire trucks and a helicopter to dump water over the flames. Some houses started to catch fire, but thankfully the firefighters saved them. So scary! There's no sign of serious rain n our forecast, only showers here and there.
My workouts on Friday were walking, yoga and Barre Sculpting.
Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and CG Iron Day 25 Shoulders.I'm back at wanting to get CG's up to do her new workouts after Iron.
My endoscopy/colonoscopy biopsy results came and everything was normal.
Have a great week!

Hi Ladies! We are back from our wonderful vacation, and I hated to see it end. We actually got back on Thursday, then spent Friday and Saturday planting new plants and doing yard work. Easter was pretty quiet, and yesterday was our 35th anniversary so we spent that buying a new dining room table. I am really happy about that!! I can’t wait to get it.
I didn’t do any workouts while we were gone, but we got long walks on the beach every day we were in the coast, and long walks in the hills when we were in Asheville. It felt good to give my body a break. Asheville is still showing significant scars from the floods last year. We were both stunned at the damage. I cannot even imagine how horrible that experience was for everybody there.
My workouts since we have been back were random Cathe Live workouts on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday I started with the ICE program. I did ICE Chiseled Lower Body Blast with the Blizzard Blast and Muscle Meltdown Shoulders. Yesterday was Low Impact Sweat, Blizzard Blast and Muscle Meltdown Back. Today was a 30 minute spin into ICE Chiseled Upper Body.
Thelma, I am so sorry about your kitty. That is so sad. I am glad you got some good support from your yoga group. I am also happy to hear everything went well with your procedures. On our way home from Asheville, the highways in Chattanooga were shut down because of an accident so we ended up coming through Blue Ridge. Such beautiful country! Even though it took an extra hour, we really enjoyed that trip. We lost power for about eight hours the second night we were gone, so most everything in our fridge needed to be replaced (again). But, thankfully, we had no damage from the storm that caused it. But when we came through northern Alabama on that trip home, we saw lots of damage in addition to signs of fires. Thankfully it has been raining for the better part of today, because those fires scare me, especially when this is supposed to be our wet season. Great workouts!! I am toying with doing that 2.0/LMR rotation again. I still haven’t quite talked myself into it yet though.
Laurie, I know you said your DD would be having a C-section yesterday if she hadn’t already gone into labor. I hope she is doing well and all is good with your new grandson. Great workouts over the last two weeks. I had a lot of mental conversations with myself about my workouts while we were gone, and I have promised myself to spend more time doing recovery workouts (like stretching) than I have been doing. My body really needs it for sure.
See you tomorrow.

Welcome back, Laurel! I'm glad you had a great vacation and that you got to see a little bit of Blue Ridge! Happpy anniversary!
Thank goodness your house was unharmed by the storm. Sorry you lost power and had to throw the food away.
I imagine it will take a very long time for Asheville and that entire area to recover from last year's horrific flood.
Great job getting back tonyour workouts. I'm back at thinking I'm going to continue with CG after this round of Iron.
II'm glad you got some rain too. We got about .6 of an inch. If this is the rainy season we are in trouble.
Losing my kitty has been really hard. Tuesday was a bad grief day for me.
Someone came here and dumped a rooster in our property and now we own a rooster. People are awful!
My workouts on Tuesday were walking and yoga.
I hope everything went well with your DD's c-section, Laurie and that mom, and baby are doing well.
See you tomorrow!

Morning Ladies,
Yes my DD had the big/little guy on Monday. 😀 He is 8lb 15oz and 21" long. He had to spend the last two days in the NICU, because with a c-section he wasn't able to expel all the fluid from his lungs. They had him on oxygen for 24 hours and then another 24 with breathing on his own. He is with Mom this morning, and they will be going home tomorrow. So I have not been able to hold him yet, but that will be something that happens this weekend. 😁
DH and I have been lax on our workouts, because we have been sitting the oldest. He is a handful, but a very good boy. Takes both of us to watch that he doesn't get into everything. 😀
This morning I did Kelly's Trim Down workout, and did the Kelly's Favorite Premix.
Thelma, Sorry that I just fell off the thread for a bit, just so much going on with Holy Week, Easter and the new baby. Glad to hear that your test results came out great. Grief comes out of nowhere sometimes, so don't feel bad about having that experience once in a while. Very scary about the fires. We have had a lot of rain, so that isn't a factor for this area. I was wondering about that aspect, since we didn't have a lot of snow this year. Are you going to be doing another round of Iron, or looking into the app? 😉
Laurel, Great job with the workouts! Glad you had such a great time on your vacation. To bad about the food in the fridge, but glad to hear that your home was okay. Getting in those stretching workouts is hard, just doesn't seem like a workout.
Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was ICE Bootcamp Circuit, the Blizzard Blast, and Muscle Meltdown Biceps. I followed it with 2.0 Total Body Stretch, which felt good.
Laurie, congratulations on the new grandson!! I am glad he has recovered from a rough start and will be well enough to go home….and be cuddled by his grandmother this weekend. He definitely is a big little boy. It is no wonder your DD was feeling a little uncomfortable recently. Great job getting back to workouts today. No doubt it was an exhausting weekend and early week. It is hard to get stretching in. Even today I was looking at my watch throughout the 20 minutes of stretching. I don’t usually do that with yoga, so I may end up just doing more yoga than anything else. We’ll see. I am still trying to figure out what is enough but not too much.
Thelma, great workouts. No doubt you will grieve for your kitty for a long time. You have been through a lot together. I can’t believe somebody dumped a rooster into your yard. Poor little guy. I really don’t understand people sometimes either. I hope he works out with the other members of your zoo. 😉
See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Wednesday's workouts were walking and Tracy Steen Hiit.
We got a little more rain on Wednesday night.Laurie, congratulations on the new grand baby. He's big! I am so glad he's able to breathe on his own now.
Did big brother meet him yet?I have not decided what CG program I will do next. Decisions!
Laurel, great workouts!
People are so cruel sometimes. At least the rooster looks OK.
I hope you got some rain too!See you tomorrow!

Morning Ladies,
Yesterday our workout was PJ's Inner & Outer Thigh Workout. I really enjoyed this workout, DH was having a bit of problems with the inner thigh work. This morning I did a mini trampoline workout with Jump & Jacked. Of course it wasn't an all out workout, but got the blood working in the morning.
Laurel, Great job with the workouts! I would opt for the yoga and mobility work. I know that I don't look at my watch when doing those type of workouts. I also really like yin yoga, since that has you stay in a stretch for a certain length of time. I really don't understand why I like the yin yoga more than just stretching. 😀 I'm so wanting these two days to fly by, can't wait to go see the baby. 😍
Thelma, Nice job with the workouts! I was going to say something about the rooster, sure hope that he adapts to your family well. Can't imagine anyone just abandoning an animal. Big brother did get to see his baby brother for a brief time. All he did was smile. I don't know if he really understands what is going to happen today when Mom comes home with the baby. 😉
Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was ICE Rock’m Sock’m Knockout with the Blizzard Blast, Muscle Meltdown Triceps and Core 1. I am really feeling these ICE workout this week, but I am also enjoying them.
Thelma, great workouts. We got rain on and off all day yesterday, and it is still gloomy today with some sprinkles. But we are due to dry up over the weekend. We have some chance for rain all next week as well, but it is pretty low. But it also the time of year we can get those heavy pop-up storms. I just keep hoping for more and more rain right now.
Laurie, great workouts. I think I like yoga over stretching because it flows. I find with stretching, it is like ‘do this, then do that’, and with yoga (even yin) it feels like there is more cohesion in the moves (if that makes any sense). I think that is what makes it feel more like a workout to me than just a series of unrelated stretches. But that might just be me. 🤣 I hope you DD and grandson are doing well. No doubt it will be an adjustment for the new big brother.
See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Thursday's workouts were walking and CG Iron Day 27 - Upper Body.
We got a nice dose of rain on Thursday. I need to check the rain gauge, but I'm thinking that this week we've gotten at least 1" if not a little more. We are still abnormally dry.Our chances of rain are best on Wednesday, but that is about it for next week.
Laurie, great workouts!
I can't wait for you and your DH to meet your new grandson. It must've been torture not being able to meet him right away. Thank God he's OK now.
Oh, the rooster has adapted all right. He thinks he owns the place! The girls haven't met him outside of their coop. I've been deworming him just in case he came here with worms. He looks pretty healthy. He patrols the entire property. I am not prepared for him matimg my girls. Roosters are quite active in the mating department. People say each rooster should have 10 hens. That's not going to happen here! My friend got her rooster stuffed animals to mate with and he did! LOL. I'm going to do the same.LOLLaurel, great workouts!
I'm glad you got some rain too! I'm also hoping for more rain.
I love Yin. Sadly, for me the instructor we loved got fired a few months ago. The new instructor is very good but in a different way. She feels more like a physical therapist to me. The class is no longer yummy.
It's almost the end of April. Laurie and my DD are getting closer to retirement! Yaay!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thelma0 -
Morning Ladies,
Our workout yesterday was PJ's Shoulder & Abs Workout. Another really good workout, feeling the shoulders. This morning was Yin Yoga, guess all the talk about stretching got into my head. 😀
Laurel, Love the workouts! Glad that you had enjoyed this week of ICE. The ICE and CTX are always good workout for that purpose. Of course the ICE cardio is better IMO. I think you are correct on the yoga vs stretching aspect. I really want to do a daily yoga routine once I don't have to be at work anymore. I have always loved yoga, but don't feel like I have the time for it and doing a workout. My DD said that so far so good, but I'm sure that there will be some jealousy. He is in the terrible twos after all. 😀
Thelma, Awesome job with the workouts! Not that far until you are finished with the Iron workouts. Glad to hear that you area received some rain, and hope that more is on the way. We have been having rain on and off all week. Tomorrow they say is going to be a nice spring day. Of course 50's with sun is a nice spring day. LOL about your rooster, that is interesting that stuffed toys will take care of that issue.
Have a great weekend!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was ICE Metabolic Total Body with Blizzard Blast and Muscle Meltdown Chest. What a good way to end the week. My body feels nicely worked but not exhausted.
Thelma, great workouts. I’m sorry the new yoga instructor isn’t quite good. I completely understand when you say she feels like a PT and isn’t ‘yummy’. I love yummy yoga for sure. I am glad you got some rain. We had scattered showers all day yesterday and may get some storms this afternoon. But then we will be dry for a while. I hope not too long. Everything looks so green and healthy right now. I am glad your rooster seems to be settling in. I couldn’t help but laugh at getting him stuffed animals to mate with, but if that works…..it is better for everybody all around.
Laurie, great workouts. I definitely think ICE is a better series that CTX. CTX has the benefit of having shorter workouts. But outside of Leaner Legs, which is a better lower body workout than anything in ICE, shorter is the only way they are better in my view. I really never clicked with any of the cardio in that series. Maybe we should start a daily yoga challenge when you retire. I keep telling myself just 10 minutes would be so beneficial and then I finish my workout and wander off. Thelma already does yoga most days so she could be our cheerleader. But I really need something to get me going and hold me accountable. No need to decide now. Retire first, but if you are interested, I would love the challenge. Enjoy your weekend meeting your baby grandson!
See you Monday.

Hi Ladies! I hope you had a nice weekend. Our rain total for last week was .8". I hope we get some rain next week.
We had a good weekend. We introduced the hens to the rooster. It was scary at first because I didn't know there would be pecking order confrontations. I freaked out because our rooster is a fighting rooster. The girls defended themselves quite well and let him know they were in charge. LOL
The rooster and one of the hens have fallen in love. They are inseparable now! It is the sweetest thing! He follows her everywhere. That was my exciting weekend! LOL.
My workouts on Friday were yoga and walking.
Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and CG Iron Day 27 - Glutes.I am going to try a Cathe STS 2.0 Single Body Part this week to try to figure out what I'd like do next.
My repaired shoulder has been bothering me. I know my main issue is my scapula. Always the scapula! It has been a problem for years now. I can't seem to estabilize it and it makes my shoulder roll forward and it affects my internal rotation. I think I need PT to make sure I don't hurt myself. For now I've found some exercises that seem to help, but I still have the internal rotation issue. Things like chest flies bother me the most, followed by presses. I'll go back to light weights for now.
I've read that shoulder injuries are very common during menopause. Frozen shoulder is the most common injury.Laurie, great workouts! How is the new grandbaby doing? What about big brother? Is he jealous?
Not far from finishing Iron. I was going to get the app, but not now that my shoulder is bothering me. I need to correct my body mechanics before doing that.
It's funny about the rooster and the stuffed animals. I don't even know how the lady who told me about it came up with the idea because she had just gotten her rooster and knew nothing about chickens.
The weather here was beautiful.Laurel, Great workouts. I'm glad you had a great workout week!
I feel bad for the yoga studio owner because she is losing her regular clients due to the new instructor. We liked her in the beginning because it was a different way of teaching, but now we miss the old instructor even more.
My hydrangea bush is full of flowers! I can't believe it!
I hear you on everything looking so green and healthy. We have chances of rain at the end of next week.
The stuffed toy idea was genius and funny. I hope the stuffed toys will satisfy our rooster when he is mating like there's no tomorrow. Right now they're all a happy little family.Have a wonderful week!

Morning Ladies,
My new grandson is of course the cutest! 😉 He is doing really well, and my dd is doing great. I don't know why it surprises me that she is such a good mom, guess because I always felt that my skills as a mom was lacking at times. The baby inherited my hands, so that means that he has my Dads hands also. 😍 Since his middle name is my Dad's name, guess it fits.
We didn't workout all weekend. Saturday was spent visiting with the baby, and Sunday we got our Trofeo out of storage. Apparently there was a roof leak in the building that we had the car stored in and caused some discoloration on the paint. DH is hopeful that it will all buff out. After that I went grocery shopping and did some cooking.
This morning I did a mini trampoline session with Jump & Jacked.
Laurel, Great job with those workouts! The moral of ICE vs CTX is doing the upper body single body workouts, and then doing Leaner Legs for the lower body work. That would be a really good combo for sure. Will you be trying out some of the older workouts before starting your new rotation? I still have this love for the Pure Strength series. That series was the first real heavy weight training that I did. I would love to have someone doing yoga with me, and you are right it doesn't have to be a lengthy session. At some point I want to do the yoga 365 series, just to say that I did it. 😉
Thelma, Nice job with all the workouts! Sounds like a sold plan on your strength workouts this week. Sorry to hear about your shoulder giving you problems again. I had read the same thing about menopause and joint issues. My oldest grandson was a tad upset that I was holding the baby, but this was right after he woke up from his nap. He was okay with it, but I did make sure that I spent some grandma time with him also. LOL about your hen/rooster experience, and hope the family continues to be cooperative. Seems really crazy that your hydrangea is already blooming. Well our trees are not completely leafed out yet, but the dandelions are making their appearance known.
Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Sounds like you both enjoyed the weekend. Ours was busy but good. We took advantage of the nice weather to do some work in our front garden. We decided to replace a few plants, and it looks so much cleaner now. Yesterday was spent mulching the garden and doing lawn work. It felt good to be in the sun for a while for sure.
For workouts, on Saturday I did 60 minutes of Peloton yoga. Yesterday was RWH HiiT Circuit Lower Body and Core 2. Today was RWH LIHI Cheat, Shoulder and Triceps followed by Low Impact HiiT 2.
Thelma, great workouts. I am sorry your shoulder is giving you so many problems still. Hopefully you can get some PT exercises to help. Almost every woman in my family (including myself) has had frozen shoulder, but mine came from injury not age. But no matter what, it is no fun at all. I am super aware of my shoulders these days, but I suppose that goes with the territory. I am glad your rooster/hen meeting went well, and your little rooster has a girlfriend. I hate that he was abandoned, but I love that he found a home. So cute.
Laurie, I am so glad you were able to spend time with your grandsons this weekend. I am also glad your DD is doing well post-surgery. That has to be tough with a toddler. You are right about CTX, because the upper body work is really good. For quite some time my favorite upper body workout was the combo of all of the workouts into one 60 minute long workout. So good. I might have to revisit that one soon. I am just doing workouts that sound good at the minute, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see me reaching for Pure Strength. Like you, those workouts (and Maximum Intensity Strength) were my first heavy strength workouts, and even 25+ years later, stand the test of time. I am still not sure what my next rotation will be, to be honest. So I am just going to keep doing what I am doing until I find myself wanting more structure. Great workout this morning!
See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, my workouts on Monday were walking and Low impact Hiit. I don't want to do any upper body lifting until I see the doctor. My shoulder was throbbing pretty bad on Monday morning, so I iced it. By the afternoon my shoulder felt pretty close to normal.
I managed to get an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday morning.
It's time to get Roosty some stuffed toys! He graduated from courting to actually mating. I'm not sure if what I saw was actual mating or a practice run. LOL
We had air fried turkey breast with roasted cauliflower steaks. I had never prepared cauliflower like that, and it was very good. Here is the recipe just in case you're interested in trying it.
https://www.jessicagavin.com/roasted-cauliflower-steaks/#wprm-recipe-container-35657Laurie, I am so glad you finally got to meet the new grandbaby. I'm sure he is the cutest! Your DD is a good mother because she learned from you! Hopefully the baby's hands will also be crafty hands like yours!
How's your youngest doing?Peonies and Clematis are also in full bloom right now. My miniature Lilac bloomed already. I bought some berry bushes, which name I can't remember, but they are full of flowers and some berries. I think they are Blackberries.
Everything is completely leafed out here.I think it will be wonderful and very beneficial for you and Laurel to do a little yoga challenge. There are so many short videos available in YT.
Good job with the trampoline workout!
Laurel, I'm glad you had a good weekend. The weather was excellent for gardening. I'm sure the sun felt great.
Great workouts!
I can't believe almost every woman in your family has had frozen shoulder. I definitely don't have that. I hope PT and rest will heal my injury, but this has scared me. I don't even want to try lifting more than 10 lbs.See you tomorrow!

Morning Ladies,
DH and I did a really good low impact workout last night with PJ. It was a Ladder HiiT Cardio workout. She did four moves for 60 seconds, then a short break into those same for moves for 45, then 30 then 15. It wasn't a long workout, but really got the hr going. This morning I did a workout that Kelly recently put on yt called Box & Squat #2.
Laurel, Great job with all your workouts! Nice that you where able to do some landscaping. Getting that yard looking nice is always something that I love seeing. Right now I can see weeds growing, so if this week's temps continue to be as nice, we will be getting some yard work done. Everything needs to be cleaned from the winter debris. Oh yes MIS was another one of those workouts that I was always doing. Doing workouts that you want to do sounds like a great thing to me.
Thelma, Good job with the workouts! Hopefully you will get some good news with the shoulder. LOL about you needing to resort to the stuffed animals, hope that it is a good distraction for him. I would be totally into the cauliflower recipe, it may be a hard sell for DH. Of course I could make them for myself, and make him a different veg. Our youngest is going really well. She had a day with her sister yesterday and sent us a pic of our oldest gs with a straw mustache he made. My peonies will probably be blooming in June. 😉
Have a great day!
Laurie
