  • I would share my befores but I can't find them :'( you're gonna do great though! For me mfp was the first step to changing me and then my life :)
  • Thank you :) it hasn't been easy but it feels great :) I am almost never hungry, usually eat a small breakfast then save up for an epic gigantic dinner lol!
  • I'm 5'5" and currently 167 pounds. 150 is my first soft goal, currently eating 1400 calories if I don't exercise in the day. I do 30 minutes of circuit training and 1 hour elliptical 5-6x a week. On exercise days I eat 1600-1800 calories. I started at 206 pounds in May. This has kept me at 1.5-2 pounds lost per week, but…
  • I do feel totally lucky and blessed there is a farmers market like 2 miles from where I live, Friday-Sunday, and the food is amazing! They even have pies and doughnuts that they do not add lard to, though I don't eat as much of those things anymore anyways... Teehee!
  • Absolutely, there's also more pollution caused by meat production than what the cars we drive cause. In fact, a lot of people don't know that cutting meat out of their lives does more for the environment than buying a hybrid car lol. I'll personally never eat meat again, I've been vegetarian for a year now. Sure I'm sort…
  • It's not just the animals that suffer. The meat industry in general is a dirty business. Hire desperate poor illegals, they get injured, they don't take care of their injuries, just an example. It's really sad
  • In level one I used 2 pound weights to start, then after day 5 they felt too easy, so I use 5 pounds now, currently on day 7 level 2. I would like to upgrade again to 8 or 10 pounds soon, but I'm cheap and waiting for somewhere to put weights on sale lol.
  • I am in a war with myself at pms/period time. I feel that all I can think about is yummy foods in giant portions. I have dreams about garlic veggie pizza and nachos and spaghetti, and general deliciousness during, lol. On top of feeling unnecessarily hungry, I also lack energy and motivation to workout! Like someone else…
  • I bought a proform endurance 720e. It was 800$ and using it in conjunction with my deficit I'm down almost 30 pounds since May. I'm not a fitness equipment expert, but I wanted something with a tablet holder, automatic incline/decline, a heavier flywheel, automatic resistance, and ifit compatible. I put it together pretty…
  • I don't have a gym membership so I workout at home... That being said though, I exercise after I get home from work, makeup and all! If I did go to a gym it would be the same story, after work. I do sweat a lot of it off but not to the point that I have raccoon eyes. If I was off from work and went to a gym that day, I…
  • This thread went from pure win to epic **** win. Thank you for making me lose my **** laughing at work!!! :D
  • I love your tread title, made me giggle! So clever :) being a vegetarian I could never ever even think of cutting out cheese! First of all, I love it, all kinds, delicious! And secondly, I get a portion of my daily proteins from it :) cheese is something I work in to my calories and I don't think that will ever change for…
  • My polar gives me reads from 250-270 calories, so I think you'll be fine logging as 200. Just give it your all :)
  • how interesting, maybe it's just because I am not as flexible and my joints aren't quite used to this, thank you for the link
  • Same thing happens to me but I think it's because my form is off. My knees do sometimes pass over my toes and I think that is what's causing it. I have been trying harder to keep my thighs 90 degrees and booty out back straight without letting my knees scrunch forward passed my toes.. It makes me slower but gotta make the…
  • Same here lol! If it smells off, I won't eat it :)
  • D4 level 2 complete, it's starting to feel a little easier. Can't believe I'm almost halfway through already!
  • You can sink into a soft squat position and do punches, easier on the legs but will still get your heart rate up.
  • What do the bars over the profile picture mean? Lol
  • Thank you for this, I can't wait to try it!
  • MLM scam, deleted a few Facebook friends because they "swear" by it and keep trying to sell me the ****. Run away, don't waste your money!

  • Just gotta build up to it :) as long as you're trying to stay on it as long as you can manage everyday, you will get stronger and gain more endurance. Even if it's just one little minute more, it's progress. I'm almost up to an hour now, it's taken a couple of months to build to that, but I also don't have any knee or…
  • Level 2 day 1 complete... Ugh the plank jacks and plank twists... Can I have the lunges back that I (used) to hate so much? Lol! Tomorrow is rest then hopefully I'll be able to do it better on Friday!
  • Unfortunately you'll just have to stick to your deficit, and lose the weight all over. Some people lose in different places first and I have read that's genetics. For me, my body seems to be picking my belly and inner thighs last. I've been losing inches all over but belly and thighs have been the slowest. Just keep at it…
  • Last day of level 1 is tomorrow :) bring it on level 2!
  • My only advice is don't rush it! Take your time, try not to be in a big hurry. I have failed countless times because I needed to lose x amount of pounds in x amount of unrealistic time. I am now finally finding success because I've learned to be patient and stick to my plan. Congrats on your baby and I wish you the best!
  • Idk why that guy had to be such an Internet warrior about your question. I did find some little routines just searching for "Kung fu type workout" on YouTube, as I am interested in this as well. I want to start taking Kung fu lessons very badly, but I can't afford it right now, otherwise I'd be training already! And that…
  • Nice work everyone!!! 2 more days till level 2 for me! So far there is substantial difference in my shoulders, arms, and my quads, wow...I can hardly believe it's actually working this well. Can't wait to see what the end will bring if I can see this just after level 1 day 8. Let's keep it up ladies !!! :)
  • If no motivation to start you can maybe try starting softly? Like cut a few extras (food wise) out everyday, and take a little 20 minute walk. Everything I've accomplished in the last two months had like a one or two year easing in to it. It all started with just drinking water instead of red Mountain Dew all the time.…
  • I know what you mean. I don't post here a whole bunch...but have come across multiple threads that people who are desperate for help and on the verge of giving up started, and all these food and calorie know-it-alls come back with arrogant one liners such as "abs are made in the kitchen!" "Buy a food scale you're obviously…
