It would be a great help to have someone to workout with or go on walks/do yoga with everyday on low energy days. I am on PST. Please feel free to message me if you are…

Anyone here who understands VO2max and it's pitfalls?
Ok, VO2max is an estimate of the total oxygen consumption during physical exertion. In a lab setting it's a number calculated somehow from ventilation and oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration of the inhaled and exhaled air. If I understand this correctly, if there's one part of this not working properly, be it…

Floor Workouts
Best kind of workouts which involve medicine balls/ kettle bells for core and arms? But not using weight machines. Struggling to find a routine which can target these areas, but hopefully not put too much strain on my stomach (still healing from a C-section, been nearly a year but I still get pain from heavy lifting).

My Body Is Betraying Me
Hello: Turning 43 in a few weeks, and well, I have recently started to feel my age. Or maybe more accurately, feel more than my age. Back in the summer, I was easily running 6 and sometimes 7k runs several times a week. Then one morning, I got about 3K in when something went "pop" in my calf. I immediately walked back…

Gym Tracking
Does anyone use a program or app for tracking gym weights? I know I can track in MFP but it doesn't show achievements ie last month I could lift X and now I can lift Y - YAY lol. I'd like something that shows my history so I can celebrate getting stronger.

Celebrate all loss
I've discovered some great success and I'm keeping off the weight. I'm losing an ounce or two every other day. I don't have a set goal or ending date. I tell myself that I want to get down to the high 170's before Christmas (I'm down to 182). I don't look for big loss, but I feel good about the ounces as they come off. So…

Monitoring food eaten, hunger, walking, weight loss
My primary use of MFP is to monitor the intake of total fat, protein, and carbohydrates as a percentage of total calories, goals being 60% animal fat, 30% protein and 10% carbohydrates. Zero carbohydrates are okay, as there is no nutritional need for carbohydrates. After 30 days following these goals, I have almost no…

Julie’s health & Fitness Tip
As a teacher, I know the value of correct knowledge; therefore, I like to report writing wrong ingredients. I am also a health conscious person who has lost 100 pounds using this super app while also keeping track of over 7 different ingredients to maintain the health of heart and kidneys. I’m frustrated if the app does…

I would appreciate it if someone could help me out a little bit with my squats. I feel like I have always struggled with doing squats. Steps vs Workouts
My app is linked to my Apple Watch to capture my daily steps. I also do daily walking workouts; dedicated time/distance/heart rate. Since my steps are already captured, do I still add my waking as workouts in the workout section of the app? Or will that double up my steps? Thanks!

Weight Lifting for 50+
I was a former D1 college athlete that no longer has anything in common with his D1 college athlete self. Now that I am going to turn 50, I realize that weight lift is important. Cardo alone does not do it. Much of what I have read says that weight lifting is more important as you age. So do any 50+ MPF folks have any…
