Come to Jesus Talk
3/17/2023 - 235 - I fell off the wagon big time. Problem is that I didn’t get back on it. The bad eating continued through Thanksgiving, Christmas and even through to the New Year. I’m weighing myself and checking in so that I can be accountable. I’m not feeling very happy with my body and have noticed depression and…

Will I lose on 1600 cals?

Feeling Worn Out. Where is the Light?
I have had one very small goal for over a year now: get to the benchmark of 195lb. I have been at 197-198 for over a year now. No matter what I do, nothing. No gain. No loss. No change. Eating 1600 calories, eating 2200 calories, eating Whole Foods, eating McDonald’s, zero change, ever. Has anyone experienced the plateau…

Does nutritional therapy work?
I have been feeling tired for the last year or so. A friend recommended me some fancy expensive multivitamins so they could remove the deficiencies that my body has. After two months of using it and finding no significant difference, I searched it on Google. I learned that multivitamins are practically nothing but an…

How much of extra calories earned should I eat?
So historically when trying to lose weight I would not adjust food intake to take into account exercise. Now I am trying to change my relationship with food, to not use food as a stress reliever and to really understand healthy eating with weight loss being a very handy by-product of that. Added bonus that if I can retrain…

Craving/feeling hungry
I just got back into cutting calories and exercising. I had used MyFitnessPal previously and lost some weight (about 40 pounds) but have gained it all back plus some. This time around I am more hungry even after meals or a healthy snack of fruit or raw veggies. Any ideas on how to curb that and resist the urge to snack.

I don't think I'm eating enough.
Ok, it's only been 3 days, but MFP says I should eat 1200 calories and I really don't feel like 1200 calories is enough. I only started 3 days ago, and I have actually been eating about 1300 a day. I used to live a very sedentary life (averaged 1500 steps a day, and no workouts). Now, I'm working out twice a day. One is…
