Healthy pumpkin pie alternative?
I want to make a pumpkin dessert just for myself. I don't want to make a whole pie because I'd eat the whole thing and while the pumpkin itself is pretty healthy, I don't need all those calories that comes with the crust. Any ideas on a healthy alternative? Pie in a microwaved mug? Make it protein-heavy somehow?

Homemade turkey stock-How to log it??
I make my own stock/broth from the roasted carcass. Whatever herbs and spices and a little apple vinegar and water is simmered for a long time then strained and cooled. The fat that rises to the top is discarded before it's used. How do I log this gelatinous goop? It gets used for soup bases and I also use it to cook…

Why does the recipe input matcher not use the same database as other foods?
When inputting a recipe, I went so far as to scan each item using my phone and type in exactly (minus capitalisation) the name that showed up there into the recipe input on the computer. Yet over half the items did not match when the recipe was parsed! Why are the names different between the two input mechanisms? Recipees…

I'm looking for some ideas to eat spaghetti squash, I'm not looking for real recipes, (my idea of cooking is cutting up and baking a sweet potato). Garlic Green Tea - Calming, Energy Balancing, and Appetite-Suppressing
Who's stressed out?! If not now, then what about during the work week? I know I get very stressed out then and one of my favorite go-to's for killing cravings (mostly stress related--for instance, craving something sweet for a quick mood-lift however transient, lasting only minutes followed by an energy crash) is boiling…

Lightened Chicken Pot Pie-how many servings?
I'd like to try the Lightened Chicken Pot Pie recipe, but I don't see the number of servings in the recipe. Are there 4 slices to the pie? Six? Eight? I do see the number of calories in a slice, but not the number of slices (servings) in one pie.

Fruits and Yogurt
Not a big deal but instead of half a cup of yogurt and some fruits/granola...do half a cup of fruit and a tablespoon or two of vanilla yogurt. It's so stupid simple but omg it's so good that way. I prefer this over more yogurt over fruit. Just wanted to share my tiny discovery.

Alternative uses for the microwave?
I do a couple of non typical things in the microwave. I use it for blanching vegetables such as green beans in the pricked packet they are sold in and then rinse with hot water afterwards. I use the microwave to make creme caramel because life is too short for cooking anything au bain marie. I zap 10 minutes on half power,…
