Carol: Sorry about your thumb. Hope it heals quickly. Have you tried arnica gel for bruising?

Sharon in WA: Thank you for sharing your Allan story.

Sue in WA: ((hugs)) Think of you often and sending you and DH healing energy.

Bone broth cooking in IP, then will make the Creamy Zucchini soup from Skinnytaste. Easy and delish!

Take care and stay warm friends. We can do this.

Might be related to your keto diet
This was one woman's response on a keto chat group

learned early on (hence this thread) that I just wasn’t eating enough. I was still trying to get my head around CICO and doing Keto at the same time. Not good. I upped my calories, while keeping carbs <20g total, and that fixed my being cold issues.

Hope that helps. Your body is going through a major adjustment switching to this diet. More water and rest would also help.

Watched Roma last night. I highly recommend it. Subtitles are well done. The acting, directing, and story telling is top notch. There is a scene with male frontal nudity, but it is non sexual/non erotic and not gratuitous, I guess that's why it still had an R.

A beautiful story, that I have been reflecting on all day. I will definitely watch it again.

    Anyone else seen it?

Machka: Is there an alternative medical care option for your DH that would allow you to ditch the stupid woman you’ve been dealing with? Can you ask for him to be transferred to another person in the group? You need to be respected and treated appropriately. :grumble: Happy Australia Day!

Machka Aaaaugh. The back-to-work coordinator is just so premature. Surprised she's even involved with no back to work date yet set by your husband's MD. Can the MD tell her "don't call us, we'll call you!"?

My husband's doctor is still the neurological rehab specialist. And that was an issue for the back-to-work coordinator. "Why is he still seeing a specialist? Why isn't he going to his GP?"

Unfortunately, her organisation is employed by the insurance agency (Worker's Comp), so I don't have much say in it. When he came home in July, a person from her organisation was assigned to my husband, and he seemed good. He seemed to understand what was going on, and we heard from him about once a month to check in on how things were going. He organised my husband's carers etc. which was fine. Then this other girl took over in October and it hasn't gone well from the beginning. She has been pushing hard to get my husband back to work and doesn't seem to understand his injury at all. And of course it is in their best interest to get him back to work as soon as possible.

I'm trying to give her the information she needs and to work with her ... but every time we make a bit of progress, she seems to go back to "what I usually do is ... "

I'm even trying to look at it as a "working with people" learning experience!!

Feeling a bit puny today: blood sugars a bit low, but worse is this vertigo. Almost fell in the shower bending over to rinse out my hair. It makes me tired to be so nauseous and dizzy.

    Later, ladies,
    Kathy in KY

Have you been to this website? And have you seen a physiotherapist who specialises in vestibular disorder?

Suki with leaf ears! This was during a trip they went on. I am not sure where this was taken. Germany?
