Michele NC - He sounds like my old Bowling Alley where everyone was named Rick lol 😂. To get around the rule he’ll probably say well we counted earlier there was under 100 everyone else is workers lol 😂. Everyone would clock in lol 😂 work at once he was that type of manager - they’d pay him back later (By they I mean the other Ricks). Lol or a few older guys know po-po comes slide out the back foot tadaaa 100 when counted lol 😂. You put others as makeup bowlers for their scores /100 on the main board
Tossing my bones out for the neighborhood cats 🐈 heard my neighbor say he only had enough for his pets. Other side their same boat.
Heard The Who or CDC can’t remember which wants it to be no more than 50people . Will see.

Loki has some diarrhea. Don't ask me to explain this. I suggested to Vince that we take him to PetSmart to get his butt shaved. Vince was very adament that he wanted to talk to them and not on the phone. He finally told me to call. I did and they can't do it because they don't have a cat groomer. Now we wouldn't have known that had we waited for him.
So I called the place where we got Bonnie shaved once before. The groomer wasn't there so I need to call back tomorrow. Vince proceeded to ask me how much it would be. Well...first we need to find out IF they can do it. And of course, the gal answering the phone isn't going to quote a price. He is the super logical person yet I had to explain to him why we can't get a price today.
I don't know but I would have thought that he would have thought of this.

KYLIA ~ So glad to hear that your granddaughter is making good choices in friends. We went through so much with our son as he went through the teen years and early adulthood. He made a lot of bad choices. By the grace of God, he ended up with a wonderful wife and 2 beautiful children. Congrats on your vaping reduction!
I did my first ever online order for groceries today and will pick up around 5 PM. My daughter in law uses it all the time. Will see how it works out.

Katla, I took my cologuard box to UPS this morning where they will send it next day air to the lab in Wisconsin. I was glad to send if off and not have to think about it any more. It was a more stressful event than I expected it to be but still much less stress than a colonoscopy.
I returned books to the library this morning while we were out. I still have one library book and a whole pile of books that I got from Paperback Swap so I have a lot to read. Since Paperback Swap is done by mail, I'll have access to more books if I want them. I have access to Kindle books through my library and audio books through Washington Anytime Library and Hoopla.
I could live without the aspects of phone and internet than involve contact with other people but I love having access to books to read and books and podcasts to listen to that I acquire via the internet.

I am so proud of my granddaughter! She told me that last weekend she met some friends at a local mall to hang out. She realized that these weren't people she should be hanging with when they kept trying to get her to vape, take a hit(pot), or have a taste (alcohol). She separated herself and got to another store, then called her parents to pick her up. She has had a tough year figuring out wise friend choices. The first incident was a "boyfriend" . The rule is everyone she hangs with must meet her parents especially boyfriends. This particular boy wouldn't come meet the parents. Daddy said he had a week to stop by and meet. Day 6, boy broke up with her. Fast forward about a month, boy is involved in a robbery of another teen resulting in a murder and him getting shot. He is now in jail! I know we have to let our grands grow up, but I just want her to have good friends! She is learning to make better choices.
VirusMy husband is now getting paranoid about me and customers. I told him I am wiping and washing, not hugging and kissing. He wants me to wear rubber gloves. I still would need to wash. I have posted on our Facebook page that if you just need parts, call ahead, we can get them together, customer can pay by credit card, we can deliver to vehicle with proper id Our building is small. I am trying to avoid hanging out and crowds. Schools closed, churches closed, bars and restaurants are carryout only. Thankful for internet and phones. Online church services. Online schools. Online shopping.
In midst of life challenges, my daughter wants me to quit vaping cinnamon flavor. I started vaping about 6 years ago as I quit smoking clove cigarettes. Cinnamon is the only flavor I liked. I have gone down from 12mg to 3mg nicotine. Her concern is that that may be the cause of my WBC issues even though that only started about 2 years ago. Soooooo, will be trying to figure that out. I used tootsie rolls to quit smoking many years ago. Not allowed those. Of course I gained 40 lbs the first time I quit smoking. The second time only gained 20. The third time, i replaced with vaping and only gained 10. So step one, I am placing vape in purse instead of pocket at work. Replacing with water and maybe jumping jack if appropriate. That is the first step. I have y'all for support. We are suppose to be heading into crazy spring, crazy busy, lots of stress. Times are changing. Under stress and concern doesn't seem like the right time to change, but maybe it is.
Stay safe!
Stay strong!
Make the best choice you can at the moment!
We are here for you!

Kylia in Ohio breathing deeply.
Make sure you are doing the social distance rule of at least 6 feet if you can. This is even more important than wiping things down!
A friend of mine is getting caught in the chaos of the Floriday airport. I shopped for her today so that when they get back they can go into 14 day quarnatee. I told her what she doesn't use she can donate later to a food bank. It is important if they did get exposed and are starting to get sick they can give it to someone who can really get sick. I do say extra prayers for them becasue her DH does have a heart condition. I told her as they go through the airport to gently remind other of the social distance rule.
Another pray for a friend who has a son who is part of this exodus from Europe.
I went to get some extra furnace filters for DS home at small hardware store the ones that filter out germs. They actually had toliet paper with a limit of one. I was so shocked I have to admit I got excited. I bought for our other son who I hope will come soon to pick up the supplies I bought for him.
Michelle I would add stay home if you feel you are getting sick and are already sick.
I know I am one of the ones who posts about the virus. Sometime I put in a hide sometimes not. I have family and friends in the medical field. Part of why I post is I want others to know what I am doing and I want to know what others are doing so we are working together so it lessens how bad this event will be for the sake of our medical system that we all count on.
As I just posted I have two friends and a son of a friend in the thick of this. My posting and asking for prayers for this is not different than the posts we have had on here when some elses loved one is in trouble for whatever reason. This reason just happens to be the virus.

Well, we went out for our pizza. First we had a beautiful walk along the seafront with our backs to the low sun. Someone was paddleboarding and someone was swimming.
Fatto was less busy than normal but every downstairs table was full. Lots of families. So I felt like I was having my last meal before execution. It was wonderful and we relished every mouthful. Did lots of handwashing.
Then we decided to call in on the hypermarket on the way home. It was busy, but not crazy. All the paracetamol and lots of tins gone, but other stuff there. Pleased with what we bought.
Two young guys came to our till, with four big packets of TP. DH looked very disapproving. I said, "Don't judge. They could be buying for an extended family like Amber's husband. " One of them went off to a different till to check his two out.
Then we caught the bus home. Lovely evening.

So true Heather the young grandson of our elderly neighbor across from us has been getting their stuff to visiting daily to check in them. Glad he’s there for them.
Hubby managed to get me a 11oz package of lunch meat so making a cheese y mayo sandwich in the air fryer with it. Dads struggling to get his medicines that fun medical red tape. Hubby Got Mother-in-law to her Doctor he prescribed extra insulin to help her Incase needed. I found an old bag of waffle fries in the freezer barely any in it but perfect for JR so he’s munching away on them with Ritz wheat crackers y peanut butter on a slice of bread. A few graham crackers for him. Hubby ate a egg white y veggies.
Watching the news on my cell phone surprised at the speech I just heard Dad said recommendations not mandatory.

Marianne WV – good for you finishing!!! That’s the most important thing
Went to bowling then the post office then WalMart. I thought I could pick up my prescription for phenobarbital but it seems that it can’t be refilled until April 6. The problem is that I’m to take ½ a pill a day and these pills are so soft that some of them crumble when I go to cut them in half. Hence, not having the full 90 day supply. So I called the MD office to ask them if I could get another one that is ½ the mg’s. Truthfully, I think it will be ok. I still have to ask him about the lamictal.
Margaret – no, I’m not sick. As a matter of fact, my neck is almost perfect now. I knew it would just be a matter of time.
Amber – thanks for reminding me that I have a bag of potato puffs in the freezer. I’d bought two for Christmas Eve. Only Denise didn’t show so we only used one bag. I put the other in the freezer, and, truthfully, I forgot about it. Now with this rush buying things, I’m glad I did.
Denise just called. Seems a while ago she asked Pete to put up the baby gate at the top of the stairs only he never did. PJ fell down the stairs. Evidently, she can’t get it up. I suspect (or at least hope because we’d told her back in May that she’d need to get a gate that swings open since she needs to go upstairs/downstairs frequently during the day). I asked her why Pete didn’t put it up and she said “I don’t know”. I know. Because putting it up involves drilling a hole in the wall and it doesn’t look “nice” That’s Pete. I’m sure he’ll get it up when he comes home. I’m not sure when he’ll come home, tho. Honestly, if it had been me, I would have hired a handyman to put it up. If my husband didn’t like the fact that I hired a handyman – tough. My child is more important than his feelings. But that’s just me.

Good news Friend's son made it back and is working from home. The crowd was not as bad as Miami.
Now just have to hear my friends are on their way back. They are going to be driving back from Florida so it will be at least two more days of travel for them. They are driving back to Minnesota.

Skip if faint of heart about the virus 🦠 this is the new President Recommendation (not mandatory yet but he would like us All to follow it for 15days by what I understand) Well USA 🇺🇸 folks President made new guidelines. Heard U.K. announced theirs too today
I found a bag of seasoned fries 1-3 servings of I stretch it right also only a handful left too saving it for myself yum yum . The waffle fries only 1 serving made it into 2 toddler servings . Sounds good I was missing fries.
Baby gate- I put my foot down hard on the topic so hubby drilled it in. Then we were glad we did! JR most uncoordinated infant you would have ever seen the hallway was too many twist y turns with edges in the old house. I rarely put my foot down that way when I do he knows I’m serious.

Well, that looks like that was our last pizza for a while. Good job I really enjoyed it!
DH 's elder daughter is suffering a lot financially through this. Her last email was almost despairing. I hope he doesn't get too anxious about her.
Sending love and hugs to all of you who are going through financial hits. I'm thinking of you constantly. Kim, Allie, and many others of you.
Lots of community groups starting up to help isolated people. Warms the heart.

What would I bring to a cabin? I’m assuming that it has running water and bathroom facilities. Is there a food store nearby? Then I don’t need to bring paper goods or food. My laptop and exercise DVD’s so I can play them even if I don’t have Internet. I’m assuming it has electricity so I can charge my laptop. Probably a plate, fork and mug. A pan for cooking food in. Matches and a can opener. Something to do (knitting, x-stitch, my tablet on which I’ve downloaded books, crochet), some source of light (hurricane lamp, lantern which uses rechargeable batteries, charger for the batteries, blanket (or sleeping bag). If I take a pet supplies for the pet (food etc)
Michele NC
I was assuming that the cabin would have food, water, linens and basic supplies.
What would you bring to occupy yourself?

Karen: It surely feels like a load of stress off my mind to have things moving toward a fixed car and healthy life. I find it very encouraging. Cologuard at home was certainly more safe and secure than going off to a hospital for testing. I'll find out the results later. Last I heard there have been no cases of virus in our county. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is true and continues to stay true. I love the photo of the son and dad talking on the phone with the window between them to protect dad’s health while seeing one another in real life.
Lanette: Our sourdough starter is used for pancakes and waffles. The times I’ve tried to use it for sourdough bread were not the best. My sourdough bread was heavy enough to cause a concussion if thrown and hit a person’s head. (Might be a slight exaggeration of the danger.)
Heather: I hope you will hear from Saga and will get a full refund. :flowerforyou:
Rita: Thanks for the ugly dog photo. I’ve seen uglier dogs than that in real life. Mostly they were ugly due to poor care and filth. Often they are as sweet as can be whether they are pretty or not. :flowerforyou:
My car is now at the repair shop. They’ll likely have to order parts and I’m not sure how long it will be there, but we have DH’s car to get us around as needed.

So grateful to have my laptop back. May take me awhile to update 5 days of stats. Skimming the posts.
Karen in VA Never knew what “ignore” did. Thanks! yawning Lilybelle. But that Mozart sounded suspiciously like “Twinkle, twinkle little star” to me… “Christmas shopping…” HITYLTILY?
Heather that 4 cake looks good enough to eat
Rebecca Athena Rose.
Lisa baby Levi. If they had a baby together the cuteness would be unbearable! between the look on Corey’s face and Egg checking under every bed, just saying “Thank YOU” for the giggles.
Kylia we’re planning a pump room upgrade this spring and will include a pigtail for the water pump/generator connection Also hoping to include a second, large secondary tank for emergencies, and a roof sprinkler system, but may not be able to afford this year. Could such be battery powered? Hate to run a gas powered generator during a wildfire event. Goals for downtime, yes! Will do BB&B/T’aiChi/Line dance at home at the same times as normal, will add getting down on (and back up from) the mat every day, and progress on some of the 20for20s.Ditto Lanette’s comments about your pic, thought surely your daughter and not your grand.
NYKaren good on you for continuing your therapy exercises and wearing the disliked splint. Will you be checking back in with the PT?
Tere Hoping tomorrow’s biopsy results and cortisone shot give you great relief.
Lanette Fortunately the big puppy doesn’t have a strong doggy odor. You’re right grooming two dogs sounds too much like work to me! Alas, there are only 2 groomers in town that we haven’t tried… fingers Xd. “what is it about those darn huge pickups? Ever since I read about your mishaps, it seems those flippin monsters end up parking next to me... so hard to back out of a parking place as I can't see around them” ditto. Will no longer park next to one if at all possible.
Kiwi on the floor about the “committee” thanks for the much needed belly laugh.
Mary the twins look like such fun!
Terri your watercolor. Such a serene scene.
Margaret the honeymoon pic. and so grateful to hear your son was able to call you at last. Prayers continue.
Tracey Michaela’s hair, her perspective on beauty has some growing to do …
Machka exercise activities today, normal dishes, food prep, shopping, BB&B. Later may walk dogs down and up the hill. Line dancing Friday may have been the last for awhile, BB&B after Wednesday will shut down for a month. Playing with my new toy (a KJ-worthy flip on ‘vacuuming’) Now that the hail and snow have abated, tomorrow will get back out in the yard and weed, lop, dig, whatever. Does that charming cabin have indoor plumbing and heat?
Welcome @deegoulet, @PamelaFitGirl
Barbie the blanket. Beautiful!
Amber do you have a pic of JR’s potatoe hair? Thanks for the exercise video links, think I still have a Richard Simmons Sweatin’ with the Oldies on video tape!
Annie can’t wait to hear what training treat you devised for your parents
Samand Quarantinis and QuaranTEENS
Sue in WA “sneak into church Saturday and sort music” your choir director MUST be bored!
Marianne in WVA congrats on your first 1K!
Kim so sorry for you and all who are losing hours. Know you are resilient and will put the time to good use, inventing/developing other side hustles.
LuciB sorry for your losses.
Only thru pg 51 but have been sitting too long.

More ways the whole C19 thing is affecting my husband and me ...My office area is being raided to outfit the C19 work area ... tempting to start labelling my stuff!
Got an email that my First Aid Cert is expiring soon ... but doubt I'll be able to do anything about it. I doubt RC will be running courses.
Wondering about my husband's next medical appointment where he gets his medical leave certificates ... doctors everywhere are being shifted into C19 work or other more urgent areas so that appointment may not happen but I still need the certificate.
There are several other things going on with my husband's situation but I suspect all of that will be postponed / delayed now.
Not sure what will happen with my work. We have a large submission due the end of this month and then who knows ... perhaps seconded to the C19 crew? perhaps work from home?4 -

It is sunny here but has been very cold at night. This morning it was 28* when I went out to feed horses and goats. Their water was frozen on top and the goats had a drowned mouse frozen in it. I guess that will teach it not to try to drink out of a 5 gallon bucket. Arborist came yesterday and pruned our apple tree and some evergreens at the back of the pasture that were growing through the fence and pushing the staples out of the wood. We will need to do some fence repairing. DD worked today but her company has shut down their retail store and they are cutting hours in mail order and the warehouse. She works in the warehouse. She also is immunocompromised so will be off the rest of this week and then reassess. She may be off another week after that. The YM is closing so will have to be creative with some other exercise. It is supposed to be sunny and dry this week so my exercise may consist of lots of yardwork.
everyone take care, Sue in WA

No potato hair photos I got used to take a picture before we eat lol 😂 then let it all fall apart.
JRs eating up a storm growth spurts again
Daughter said her Base is good they only had 1 case (isolated quickly) but got it under control so no spread. No tp or dryer sheets on base stores . Base will probably step in if they get desperate for that tho.3 -
How this is directly affecting my life...Went to see son and hospital is going on lockdown. I was glad to see this means less chance son's floor getting infected. When I came in I was better protected than the staff I had a N-95 mask thanks to Amber. Safety googles to protect my eyes. Gloves. Knew to practice social distance better than the staff.
I have learned from dealing with bureaucracy from my son's illness. You cannot wait for them to catch up. You need to take responsiblity and do your part. It will be up to us to put this virsus in its place not the government. Each and every one of us because this is like stopping the wind. As a team working together we can at least slow it down and that is the job we are given whether we want it or not.
