I had to mow my lawn and that burned around 200 calories, walked five miles, 45 minutes of cardio exercises, 60 squats and a partridge in a pear tree :D

    loving the jump rope.

    Exercise is supposed to be
    -stress relieving
    -fun
    -effective

Honestly, this is the first thing i've found that is ALWAYS all three to me. Typically i'll get to a point in a workout where i'm enjoying myself. but i may dread doing it before hand or not even get to the point where i'm having a good time.

And in 30 min i can get compairable numbers on my HRM to an Insanity work out.

i can be falling all over myself tired and still happy to throw on some music and get to jump roping. once you pic up a trick or two, its honestly a lot like dancing.

if you haven't found something thats like this for you, keep trying new things.

My daughter got a weighted hula hoop. Not a huge calorie burner, at least not for me, but it's a lot of fun and makes me laugh at myself.

Yoga and walking, like most days. I know I should probably take it up a notch, but if this is a lifestyle change then this is the most sustainable lifestyle for me. :)

Three mile walk at noon and will do another at 8pm. Some pushups (still only doing 8 reps at a time).

Lazy day off, but I took my housemate up to the barn after she came home from work. Warmed up a horse for her, then gave her an hour's riding lesson, with lots of jogging alongside - first time she's ever ridden! Then I exercised my own horse as well.

Tomorrow will likely involve a bike to the tack shop, as my jodhpurs are getting too loose, a trip to the supermarket (usually on foot), and a dressage lesson in the afternoon.
