When I got home, I discovered the storm had ripped the gutter off the front of my house. That called for a glass of Riesling. Will probably finish the bottle with my family tonight and restart #no alcohol days, then fix it on Friday/Saturday. It's still raining today so I can't work on it yet.
It is unusually rainy and humid here too.
Sorry about your gutter. What a pain.

I'm really loving the pictures.
The pictures of bath has a Roman flair to its architecture.
Those pictures of Turquay coast line are stunning.
I hope this is refreshing you after all the stress you have been under with the strike.3 -

So the flashing and gutters are back on the house. I had to paint some trim too and we noticed that some flashing is missing from around the chimney while we were on the roof. (the pitch of my driveway is evil and there's no way to reach one corner with a ladder) so hubby and the teenagers are going to replace that tomorrow. Productive day. My face is sunburned and my posterior chain is sore, but the storm damage is repaired.3

Great job! You are amazing.1 -
Hi, guys! Climb was really hard. It rained off and on half way up, then switched to pretty steady rain. The climb was difficult in itself. Really rocky and slippery. The summit, which we reached about 2 am, was incredibly windy, driving rain and snow. I started to really freeze (mostly my hands) up there. About 15 min back down my hands warmed up quite a bit, even in soaking wet gloves. Next time water proof gloves! The total climb was from about 10:10 pm to 6:45 am.
Slept for a few hours then we went to Loch Ness, which was lovely and fun, even in the rain. Scotland is incredibly beautiful. We didn't see the monster, tho we looked! Today I give Nicci and Cherie a break from playing host and spend a few days in Edinburgh. Here are some pics for you:5 -

Trip back down at sunrise, such as it was on wrong side of mountain for view (plus rain and mist).

Enjoy your Klondike bars @Talkradio (I agree with whoever said it's Summer after all).
I hope I don't jinx myself, but the past almost week I've ate somewhat decently with no binges (I've mostly ate fish like Mahi Mahi/Sole, some kind of veggie, & yogurt cups).
Wow you are doing great. Are you craving those foods?
I ate horribly on vacation, but today was nice to get back to a somewhat decent calorie range.
I haven't really craved any food lately in particular, but have eaten a ton of junk food.
I'm going to try to stick to around 1800-2200 on work days since I burn a fair amount those days & around 1800-1900 on my days off. Mainly I need to stop buying ice cream, cookies, & snacky foods until I can moderate them.0 -

What is fruit pizza?
Sugar cookie as the 'crust.' Whipped cream cheese as the 'sauce.' Fruit for the 'toppings.' So yummy!
They need a drooling gif!1 -

It's will take me a few weeks to recover from this vacation too.0 -
Some final pics before I head home. Final days in Scotland and London. I had an amazing trip and Nicci and Mrs. Smartie were spectacular hostesses. I can't thank them enough for hosting me and being so generous with their time. Hopefully I can return the favor soon!2
