I felt good today so I decided to test my 1RM. I pulled 405 first and it felt good, so I decided to try for 425. I have been deadlifting for less than a year, so I'm happy.

@quiksylver296 congratulations on your PR that had a good morning look to it as you began your ascend. Are those Tommy Kono knee bands?
Speaking of good mornings, I got into doing them heavy for low reps and experienced squat load improvement when I was chasing heavy loads about 7 years ago. Don’t do barbell squats anymore. I’m now an older kettlebell dude.

I'm majoring in the minors on bench, trying to tweak form to push the most weight. Heels flat but driving, no sunlight under the glutes. Good lift!

I'm qualified for 105 & 120. I just have to choose one. I think I have a better chance of winning 120 depending who shows up and how swollen my joints are then.0 -

YES, I am!!! They raised my class’s totals to 362.5. I’ve got my lifts all lined out on what I have to hit. Next meet is June 8.
