Sports doctor prescribed exercise
So basically I do have muscle problems that I'm born with. Doctors are finally trying to figure out where things to wrong as a cardio pulmonary exercise test I did was mostly ok apart from the known problem of possibly not accessing fatty acids for energy for anything above relaxed walking and lactate rising a bit too…

create search function in desktop my recipes
This has been requested several times by this writer and others have requested the same. The app search function is not infallible and in fact can often provide an inaccurate result. I generally use my desktop to search and add since it is much easier for me to do rather than use the app. Please advise as to why this has…

Looking for feedback on my upper body weight routine
I am doing a four day split. Two days upper body; two days lower body. Each routine takes about 40 minutes with three sets including warmup. pull-ups pull-ups chin-ups first (all three sets with rest in between). Then, I do the following in groups in superset fashion so that I had proper rest by the time I cycled back to…

More KJ's allowed for exercising
Just wondering if anyone else feels like it's great you can eat more if you exercise - but I find, even though I still lose weight, it's a lot slower than just reducing KJ intake down to the minimum and not exercising. Basically if only eating KJ allowance there's no energy for exercise anyway, and have to go to bed early…

Try as I might - I am NOT a morning exercise person
And I'm not talking a mental thing! I have tried over the years to engage with morning workouts of varying intensity and I have come to the conclusion that my body just *can't*. The most basic of things, like walking up multiple flights of stairs or a 3km walk, things that I can do without a thought any other time of the…

Walk to Mordor
Hey everyone! So, I started using this app called Walk to Mordor and I'm loving it! So far I've walked from Hobbitton to Tookland and am now 12.42 miles away from Encounter with the Black Rider. With the app you log your miles (or km) and it calculates them into where you would be on the journey that Frodo and Sam took in…

Cardio + strength 2 times a week plan?
TL;DR what is a good work out plan that allows for decent strength gains and improves cardiovascular fitness that is 2 days a week (even if workouts take 1.5 to even 2 hours each session). I'm a mid 40s dude who has been overweight his whole life. About 5 years ago I had a wake up call and dropped 30 pounds from 230 over…

Anyone tried Ultimate Yogi?
The 108 day program set. They call it the P90x of yoga ( which some roll their eyes at lol) but for me my flexibility is suffering and the structured calendar appeals to me because I am used to the Beachbody programs. I'd love to hear if anyone completed it, how did your flexibility improve? Did you lose any weight or…

Exercise calories
My daily calorie intake is 1,200 and I try to exercise/workout 4x a week. Todays food diary was 761 calories and exercise at 718. That netted me 43, but I don’t want to “eat” back my calories. Can anyone explain to me how it works for someone who want to stay strictly withhin 1,200 calories a day while exercising?

Is calorie afterburn an actual thing?
I’m wondering if I should include the calorie afterburn in my diary or not. I ask because idk if it’s just a marketing tool that fitness centers use or if it’s an actual thing.
