As for kids and bedtimes, my 4 year old still sleeps with hubby and I.

I almost gave myself an eating disorder because of the Lose It app without knowing. It had me eating 800 calories max for about three months (I'm a five foot tall girl, but still ). My hair started falling out a little and my nails and skin got rough. Finally I actually looked up how many calories I needed and every site said like a minimum of 1100 even when losing weight. I deleted the app and never looked back. So please don't use Lose It.0

I once missed an evening meal to have a waitrose banana and toffee cupcake (with frosting) I stayed within my goals but it was so not worth the 5 mins of yum as I was Marvin for the rest of the night. Lesson learned0

I managed to avoid eating a whole box of cookies by a count of five. ergh0

Go see them!! Jensen Ackles is seriously hot although I can't see him cry now without thinking of "A Single Man Tear". I'd post some gorgeous GIFs of him to encourage you...if I wasn't a tech-idiot and knew how.
Confession, though: I'd be more stoked if the Impala was going to be six hours away from me, and yes, I'd drive over to see it. God, I love that car. LOL.
I think I might do it. had to watch that episode like 4 times. It was so hilarious. My fiance thought I was nuts. They are all nice looking, but I have a thing for Misha. He is so adorable.

I have been reading this thread since the beginning and have enjoyed reading it. I've felt guilty not contributing. I usually don't comment much. I don't feel like anyone cares about what I have to say. Low self esteem sometimes.
I can relate to a lot of different things in this thread. That makes me feel better.
I'm glad to see other people like black jelly beans as much as I do.
I bought cookie butter because of this thread. It was pretty tasty!
I have to confess that I have about 8 lbs (that is not an exaggeration) of candy at my house. Thankfully I have been good about moderation so all the candy I buy or receive is piling up. I have been losing weight slowly but I do have candy every day.
The sad thing is, I've been using My Fitness Pal since around 2011-2012. I lost about 30 lbs and then gained about 10 back when I lost the job I had at that time (stress). If I had stayed serious about logging, I would have been at my goal weight by now. Oh well, at least I'm losing again.
Thanks for "listening."
Love that you've lost weight and est candy every day!

I have eaten SO MUCH candy today, and I need to curl up and sleep off my carb coma.

I'm the only one out of my group of friends who's really stuck to the diet/exercising plan we all agreed on 2 months ago, and now they're higher than their SW and I'm -30 lbs. And I feel a little happy about it, in a very twisted way.
If it's any consolation, I started higher than they did, but now I'm a little less than my highest-weight friend.0 -
As much as I care about losing weight to be healthy...
I confess more than anything I want to be hot again.
Messed.0 -

John Travolta was recently in Columbus, Ohio filming a movie really close to where I work downtown and a couple of women would go try and track him down on their lunch breaks and I'd scoff at this.
Confession- Secretly I wanted to go with them but couldn't bring myself to admit it openly0 -
Sometimes it just doesn't matter to me. I know what eating a certain food will to the scale and I JUST DONT CARE (at the moment). Then afterwards I feel terrible and realize it probably wasn't worth it... But before I have my eating party, it's all I can think of and the drive is so intense it's crazy. When this happens, I don't even log it. I don't WANT to even remember it. There are times when I just don't want to stop.0

Not messed at all... A powerful motivation, and one that's widely shared even if we don't admit it.0 -
Dinner last night put me over by 850 calories. I kind of regret it. I need to get better at eating in restaurants.0

Confession: I'm that *kitten* on Facebook that calls you out when you post a fake quote. Friends, family acquaintances... no one is safe from my fact-checking. No Uncle Jerry, I'm sorry. Thomas Jefferson did not say that about gun control.0

I have a friend on FB who changes her profile picture and cover photo every other day, I think she does it to get 'likes'.0

I will shamelessly Snopes people my newsfeed, too. I have no problem letting someone know they're posting stupid *kitten*.0 -

I need to start using this phrase. It speaks to my heart.
My colleague blamed her chocolate pretzel breakfast this morning on having 'fallen to the Communists'.
I didn't get it til I Googled it.
I googled it and I still don't get it...
TOM - Communists are also called "reds".

I don't mind drinking my calories. I think food prep/eating/cleaning up is a time waster and pita and would be thrilled if food came in a one-a-day pill form so I could pop one and be done with it. But it doesn't. So I won't.0

I had waffle, gelato and whipped cream for breakfast. Not sorry.0
-
I confess I sometimes wonder where in the world you people live because there are always so many references to gelato and so few about ice cream.0

My arm is killing me because I slept on it wrong, so I am skipping the gym today.
Also my family trip is this weekend and our big thing is we go to this delicious buffet, I plan on enjoying and not tracking. It's like second christmas0 -

Not messed at all. My fitness motivation is easily more than 50% aesthetic and I'm sure there are many, many other folks here who feel the same way.
And a heckuva lot of my current appearance-related motivation is due to my stepdaughter's upcoming wedding. If I'm going to be "on display", even peripherally, I want to look like "someone who works out". Especially for the ex. Now how shallow and immature is that?0 -

Have you tried Gelato? It is seriously addicting!!

My impulse control is so bad when it comes to soda that I do not carry any money with me unless I know that I am going to need it; no cash, no cards, no checkbook.1 -
I ate my body weight in Cadbury mini-eggs yesterday, on top of Chinese food, pizza, a ginormous sugar cookie and a long island iced tea. Yesterday was bad...and epic. Back to it today.
ETA: And peanut butter m&ms. Forgot the peanut butter m&ms.0 -

I just want to see my wife's bottom lip quiver in excitement when I take my shirt off. Is that too much to ask?

That makes me very, very sad.
