Not sure how active people are in here during my daytime(UK) but after quick advice.
I'm having one of my periods of not sleeping- basically just because my body refuses to.(I've had about 8 hours over 3 days) I managed to do a (poor) weights workout yesterday but am wondering whether I'm just being a wimp by reconsidering working out today also or if I should just give my body a rest?
I'm currently feeling very on edge. I'm seriously about 1 snarky comment away from punching someone in work. I was already stressed as a member of senior management is currently undermining all my decisions for what I can only assume is his own personal amusement considering there is no actual business justification for it - but everything seems to be pushing me closer to breaking point today! Not sure if working out would help the stress or kill me..

And on a completely different note from a few pages back -books, not read Stephen King for years after Insomnia (as in the book not my condition!) put me off, any recommendations anyone?

I think I would claim a mental health day and not go to work!! Sounds like you need some down time. As for the books, keep reading King. They get better.

Thanks. I may go home soon considering I have just sent an email meant for my boss to my boyfriend by accident. On the plus side....at least it wasn't the other way round!!!

I once got a pretty risque email about some weekend plans at work from a coworker whose wife's first name and first two letters of last name were the same as mine, he did not even notice it populated my email address instead of hers. He was very embarrassed. I just replied with something like - Can I bring my husband?

This is too funny! At least it was intended for his wife and not an extramarital affair!

when i was a board secretary, I used to 'share' an email account with the Chair. It was normally for his use, but i kept an eye on it. One day I was looking through the sent items for a particular email, and found a whole series of emails between him and his practice manager (he is a GP) that were of a very personal nature. I was mortified. The Chair was also a close friend of my boss - and they and their wives used to go on holiday together. I very quietly and subtly reminded him that I could see all emails on that account and it was part of my job to monitor the inbox, as that is where board papers are sent.

He has since divorced his wife and married the practice manager. When it came out that they were having an affair (about 3 years after i saw these emails) it was gossip of the century. I'll never forget a practice manager friend of mine phoning me up to tell me the hot gossip of the morning! I did have a quiet chuckle to myself.

I once had a boyfriend whose contact details in my phone came straight before my dad's. DANGER DANGER. Thankfully the worst I ever mistakenly texted my dad was 'meet you at the bus station, love you xxxx' which was weird enough. It could have been SO much worse.

While my boobs are changing so constantly (22 weeks pregnant now) I refuse to buy more than two bras in any particular size, so this seems to be my constant reality. The other day I somehow had TWO bras that fit clean at the same time and this was the ultimate luxury.

I did a secondment as a technical secretary for a safety board and I hated the guy I was working for. He nearly got me into a lot of trouble at work because he had a very blame the contractor approach and kept complaining about me, and I hadn't been with the company that long. Fortunately my bosses got the measure of him the day that he was constantly ringing that I hadn't come to work when I was on a train to go to observe the board elsewhere within the company and they'd booked all my tickets, hotel etc and he should've been fully aware. It was for new build, so it was all getting set up, and one of the things I set up was an email for the committee. After I left the guy who took over my role discovered that through that he could also access his emails, including some of a similar nature to previously stated, to a woman at his previous place of work and both of them were married to other people (nuclear industry is small, easy to find out who people are). He forwarded me all of the emails. I did however resist any temptation to get him into trouble and kept it to myself and just had a good laugh at his expense. The thing that really gets me here is that people are using their work email to do this!

I ate so much that I threw up. When my mom went to the bathroom she saw it in the toilet (that I forgot to flush) and freaked out, thinking I was bulimic. She was harsh and upset the day after until I finally got her to tell me what crawled up her *kitten*. We sorted it out. She confessed that she thinks I'm losing weight really quickly- and yet I see no difference and eat worse than I have before. I brought it up to a friend in school, I asked her how much she thinks I weigh. She said she's pretty sure I weight 64kg- SIX KILOS MORE than what I actually weigh. Is it bad that I don't believe I've lost weight but still feel really hurt and sensitive about what my friend thinks?

I wear my everyday bras a couple of times before I wash them. My sports bras however.......need a little more attention. :D

My bras are too expensive($60-120), I rotate them and at least rinse them after every wearing. I have 4 'regular' bras and 2 sports bras. I can not do any kind of bra that expands enough to fit over my head because if it fits over my shoulders it doesn't provide enough compression for high impact activities.

I LIVE for the day my breasts shrink enough where I can go to Walmart and buy a bra for $20!

I can do this and won't anymore. I am worth a bra that will keep its shape and the underwire doesn't come out and start poking me in the armpit. (yes, that's happened to me, at work.) I buy bras at Catherine's and Belk.

Confession: I don't know what is wrong with me but today has been a bad food day. I already ate all 10 twinkies from the box I bought this morning.

I was at my lowest weight before vacation and now I just can't seem to get back to being good with food...

    Tomorrow hopefully.

I am seriously impressed with the 10 Twinkies. I probably shouldn't admit that in here.

Haha thanks for the laugh! It was another one of those things where while you are eating them you are thinking, "these aren't even that good." Definitely not like the old twinkies. :) I ate five for breakfast and five for lunch. Haha so embarassing!

I NEED to eat better. I probably gained like 10 lbs the last couple weeks. I have a co-worker who is about the same size as me who always complains about not being able to lose weight yet eats the free food we have around the site every time (while I almost always pass). She didn't seem to believe that I had lost weight recently. My goal is to lose more weight so that she will know that I'm not lying. Seems silly but I'm hoping it will motivate me to get going on losing weight again.

Sometimes impressing others can be a powerful motivation!

Yep it can. I love watching the look on my exes face when I drop off Kypton and I have lost more weight. I may also always wear my nicest clothes and have my hair and make up done just because!

This would be awesome. I don't think I'll see my ex again but I would love to have him see me thin again. Last time I saw him I was at a really high weight. :( I don't like him at all so it was embarrassing.

Thankfully instead of 10 lbs, I gained six in the last two weeks so I think I can get back on track. :)

Jury duty is interesting, but I if I ever see the prosecutor outside court, I am going to tell her to learn muzzle discipline. She waved a shotgun in my face 3 times today. And, truthfully, the shotgun had nothing much to do with the alleged crime. It just happened to be in the defendant's truck at the time.

I would have LOST MY MIND! Just saying. I might have been calm and collected while mentioning I don't like a gun being waved in my face, but inside I would be RAGING. :rage:

Same here. I would have probably said something right then. That is the number one rule for safety...

I feel ya on that. Mine are too big for any kind of sports bra other than high compression. I have found a couple from Champion that work well. Very little movement with running or jumping activity.
