Thank you so much, Shannon!!
This may be a bit TMI, but I’m frustrated by one (well technically two) things. My daughter asked me today, “mom, I know you have lost almost 60 pounds, but why are your boobs bigger now than they were before?”
Truthfully, my gut was so freaking fat that it made my chest look small. Now my gut is significantly smaller so my well-endowed chest is very prominent. I really thought that they would get smaller as I lost weight since I’m post-menopausal, but no, I am still wearing a DDD.
If anybody is a breast cancer survivor, I hope I haven’t offended. I just thought I might drop to a D cup.

Tracey thanks for asking about our son. He is home and he had us over for a barb-a-cue tonight. Son and I went to what is called the Dragon Festival in the park close to him. They race boats that have dragon heads on them. Boats are what a crew team would race in. Last night we planted rose bushes along his garage. It seems when we do one project another project pops up that needs to be done before the project is done.

I agree, those are lilies! My mom has so many!
Dragon Boat Festival is so much fun!! It’s one of my daughter’s favorite festivals, right after Chinese New Year and Autumn Moon Festival.

Janetr - Lovely girls!
I didn't post yesterday as I was feeling a bit shaken.
In the morning I accidentally let a vitamin D pill go down the wrong way into my windpipe. Oh my gosh! 15 minutes of uncontrollable coughing ensued with snot and mucus flying everywhere. Eventually it came up in pieces. By then I was exhausted, with a headache. The extraordinary thing is that DH did not emerge from his bathroom ablutions until he was finished and I was nearly finished. I'm not sure whether to divorce him! He went off to cricket.
After that had a quiet day. No bonus exercise. Didn't even go out to check on the fair around the corner, though I could hear it. Had a nap.
Three more days of Hampshire cricket, then nothing major until September. He might go locally, but that doesn't involve a 90 minute each way commute. Today I am invited to go with my son's family to their school Fiesta in the park. That should keep me amused for the late morning.
Clouded over here.

Hi everyone,
Do you mind if I join you?
My name is Al, short for Alison. I'm an Aussie living in remote western Victoria with my two furries Tank (a GSD) and Chewy (a rehomed greyhound).
I'm a long time user but have lapsed badly.
My goals from Saturday 13th July are:
*Log all food, drink and exercise every day
*No alcohol
*limit intake of processed foods
*Drink at least 2 litres water per day.
Also, if any of you want to friend me is be really grateful. It will help keep me honest. I think I'm a pretty good cheerleader 😊

I bought some new fair trade chocolate at the supermarket and had about 65 g!!, plus I ate a package of corncake (like rice cakes but corn). then felt off and uneasy and watched videos online and fell asleep.
not sure what's up - whether it's the physical influencing the psychological or visa-versa or both.
im worried. I feel discouraged.
Sorry to hear how you're feeling, days like that can be tough to keep motivated.
How long have you been feeling like this? No reason you can think of?

Well ... in First Aid, if the person is still coughing, that's OK. We're to leave them alone and let them cough. It's when they stop coughing and stop breathing that there's a problem.
But I'm sorry that happened. Choking is never fun.
I choke on my own saliva several times a week, and about once a week on either my vitamins or the rice I eat for lunch. I've been told by dentists that I have an overproduction of extra-thick saliva.

I do still need to get a foot pod to record what I do on the treadmill, but everything else is in place, and I had a great workout!!

@RuralShutterbug Welcome to the community, Al. I'm Terri, from Nornirn (Northern Ireland in local dialect, say it quickly with a guttural tone 😂). We're an active, supportive group, but don't feel you have to comment on everyone's post. You would be on here all day if you did. 😂
Heather: It's distressing when that happens, but I find it's an all too frequent occurrence these days, and it does take it out of you. Men can be a bit single minded when it come to their hobbies. He may not have even heard you choking if he was rushing to get out and away for his cricket. Do go to the Fiesta, and enjoy the time with your son and his family.
Machka: Great to hear that everything is up and running. Having home gym equipment is so much more handy than all the faff of getting ready/out to go to a gym.
Planning packing this morning, and gathering things together ready for the off next Saturday.
Going to elder girl's house after lunch to enjoy family celebration of the 16th birthday of middle DGS.
