What do you eat....
before and after running? Since I'm getting up at 5 am to run, I don't really eat anything before. However, I'd love some ideas (preferrably low cal) of what to eat afterwards. Finished my first c25k run....
And I survived! :) Although...do I really call it a "run" since I technically walked more?? I need to make sure I stretch more though, my legs were SUPER tight from not exercising over the weekend!

Bought my shoes and signed up for 5K

How do I log exercise?
How do I log exercise for this? If I am doing walking and running per instructed. I am sure I am burning more calories then adding walking total and running total separately.

When did you notice that your speed was improving? Towards the end of the program, or after you completed? I'm in week 7 and I feel like I'm soooo slllloooww.... lol I know that speed will come as I keep running, but it doesn't seem to be improving yet.

I don't understand week 6
It feels like going backwards. I conquered the 20 minute run in week 5 (I actually ran 21 minutes, 2.3 miles) so to go back to having walking breaks feels like going backwards? Should I stick to it or move onto week 7?

How do you train? Treadmill or Outdoors?
I normally run on a treadmill, mainly to keep a consistent pace. But also there is no nearby location to run that is safe - busy roads, no shoulder. If you train on a treadmill, is there anything that you do to transition to asphalt for races? Thanks for your input!
