Basically starting over again
A few years ago, I dropped from 240 to 182 pounds and was feeling so much better (and hoping to continue losing). Covid brought lockdown and working from home which killed my motivation and gave me too much opportunity to bake and eat. Then I lost my mom and depression made it all worse. I put back on almost everything.…

anyone else get super frustrated at friends/co workers?
Bro-science everywhere! One of my friends moans to me every day that he isn't losing weight even though he 'barely eats' and I've seen the man eat two large chip shop servings with salt and vinegar! So I try to explain to him and he just says 'no. My metabolism is just crap. I barely eat anything and I work out loads.' I…

Hi all! I have been looking into if Keto would work well for me. I have stomach issues where as soon as I eat i'm usually running to the bathroom. I have tried cutting out foods to see what the culprit is but not much luck besides sugar, dairy and gluten items. Seriously anything I eat does this to me. My main question is…

Just starting Keto
I believe I have insulin resistance, high cortisol levels and generally a lot of weight to shift. I’m starting on keto but making a gradual process to eat whatever is in my house at a sensible rate whilst incorporating more keto ideas and ways to make it work for my shift work. I work on the ambulances so balance is a…

"Cheat days" causing diarrhoea?
Hi, I'm eating 1200 calories a day and my weight loss is on track, but every couple of weeks I allow myself a "cheat day". I don't go crazy but today and 2 weeks ago we happened to have bake at home croissants on my cheat day. Both times I've ended up with diarrhoea within an hour of eating them. Is it that my body isn't…

Be kind - Reset your mind 💜
During the pandemic, I lost 16kg, I had so much focus. Losing weight and eating healthy was easy. Not because I'm a superior being to anybody else. I was lucky enough to be in that kind set. Returning to work was the biggest upset to my routine. Over a year, I had gained the weight I lost and with this, that uncomfortable…

Do you guys find you lose weight faster by prioritizing protein or just getting a good balance of protein/fat/carbs??? Thank you.

What metrics do you like to track other than calories?
I like to check daily AM glucose and daily total protein, fiber and Sodium. These generally help me to steer food decisions in a helpful way and indirectly reduce over consumption. It's also nice to be able to hit one or two daily goals instead of calling the day a wash when it goes off the rails. What works for you?

Calories
Hey all. So I went from 190 down to 155 and I am back up to 170. I want to be at 145. I am 34 years old, 5'8, male. I work out pretty hard 3 days a week. Work at a desk. Try to stay moving on the weekends. Most of my initial weight loss was from fasting, and I kept it off for a bit, but I can't bring myself to fast anymore…

Calorie def
Hello all, I am here asking for guidance on a calorie deficit. I want to cut, but it’s my first. I have been given so many different answers on what I should be doing. I lift 3-4 days a week for about 30-45 mins. My goal weight is 150, I’m currently 205. I have been told to cut as low as 1200 calories, as high as 2575…

Hey guys, so just finished my first 10 days using MFP and I've lost 7lbs :) This is the first time I've ever tried weight loss and although I cant see any changes yet, the scales obviously do. Sticking to your meal plan
Hi everyone, As I’ve lost more weight and with time (I guess my motivation has dwindled), I struggle to say no to free food and especially sweets offered to me and hence feel like I’ve reached a plateau. I would like to lose the last 8 lbs. I used to eat high protein when I would have my cheat meal but I feel like i keep…

Maintaining current weight after loss
I hit my weight goal after 15 months following MyFitnessPal and have changed my goals to maintain my new weight. Sadly the MyFitnessPal algorithm has misled me for I have 6lbs over my 2023 goal weight. Any suggestions on how to maintain and not gain any weight back after attaining your weight loss goal?

medial branch blocks
Has anyone had a medial branch block on a facet joint? I am considering to try to eliminate chronic low back, glute, hip and groin pain. I am generally healthy but am not able to be as active as I wish, work as hard as I would like when I exercise. Irritation throughout my day is also distracting / discouraging.

Ozempic

Motivation to lose last few lbs!
So after some time and consistancy, I've managed to lose a lot of weight I went from 173lbs to 123lbs in the past decade. Last year to now I went from 138lbs to 123lbs... my goal is 120... and I have no idea how I can get to that last bit... most of the weight loss was through diet alone with a bit of exercise here and…

need to lose 55
