Why do we lose weight so slow

Intermittent fasting and exercise
Hi, I’ve been consistently fasting 12 hours straight for solid two weeks and exercising 4 to 5 days a week! I feel more in control of food choices and less impulsive to eat junk no food! I’ve been eating whole foods and minimal to zero process foods! I feel great about this accomplishment 😊

I recently stopped breastfeeding and saw the scale increase so I’ve started calorie deficit (1200) and working out at least 3 times a week for the past 2 and a half weeks and I see no difference.
