Gym Question
I've lost 175 lbs (with between 50 to 60 lbs more to go.) As expected I have parts of my body with extra sagging and am strongly considering joining a gym. (Mostly upper arms and thighs.) Would working on various machines help that -at all- or would I be dreaming? Any input is very much appreciated.

Rack Pull controversy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agF7TbWjQao Great video by Jeff - there's a right way & a wrong way to perform this controversial exercise. Mainly like doing rack pulls for traps (wide grip, light load, below knee, form as main focus) because I can not stand shrugs. Out of boredom, I'm curious as far as everyone's opinions…

How long does it take to notice a physical difference - can I do anything more?
I've been training with my PT now for almost 2 months (I know this isn't a long time at all). We do 2 full body sessions a week and then I do an additional full body session on my own. Unfortunately due to childcare/work I can't get in the gym anymore than 3 times a week. Occasionally I can get a 4th session in. I am…

Loose fat without muscle loss
I entered a bodybuilding comp 6 years ago. I was so focused on losing the fat I didn't realise how much muscle I lost. I want to prepare for another comp but I am a little cardio-scared as I don't want to lose any of the muscle I worked hard to build. Any suggestions?

Complete Noob, would love some advice.
Hey all, not sure where I should have posted this but I thought I’d start here. I’m a big girl, and I have a lot of weight to lose, (5’3 230ish)however I do not want to look like a melted candle when the weight comes off. I loath cardio and thought weights may be the way to go. I have a basic dumbbell set that goes to 45…

New to muscle gain, need some advice
For the past 16 months, I've been at a calorie deficit. I'm 5'11.5 (bad posture, might be 6') and I started at 350 lbs. Currently at 220-ish lbs. I've been doing resistance training with a personal trainer since January. I have built some muscle (because lean muscle helps burn fat?) but now it feels like I'm only…

New to lifting for muscle gain.
Greetings all. I'm fairly new to the healthy diet and lifting world. Reason for the change is age related and borderline unhealthy weight. Weight gain
I’m unsure if this will make sense to some but is the amount of weight you gain dependent on the amount of calories you eat - for example, if you eat a lot will you gain a bigger amount than in if you eat less or is the amount of weight you gain always the same each time?
