@CountessKitteh you look FANTASTIC!!
@WestCoastJo82 I feel the same a lot of the time I want to vent but compared to so many others it sounds like ridiculous I just need to pinch myself and stop being baby...that's how I feel at least
Exactly.
Edit: I should say that I know I wouldn't be judged bc everyone here is awesome - it just feels so petty.
Yes definitely I don't fear being judged you all are super great!! I get down and sometimes I want to kick myself as I know I'm very blessed! It's hard to pull yourself out of a funk when depression hits0 -
Thanks for caring @kelly_c_77 you're so sweet!0

Anyone read about the new skinny Oreos? Thoughts? Joy? Outrage?

I've literally just sat around all day obsessing, worrying, and wanting to lock myself in my room and cry. The only reason I haven't keeps running up to me and giving me hugs.

Never feel ridiculous for how you feel....you know that you can always vent here. We don't judge anyone, remember?
If you broke your toe but I broke my leg, your toe would STILL hurt, right? So my broken leg might be a little bit more of a problem/pain in the butt...but your problem matters too!

Yeah definitely won't be buying those! If I eat Oreos at all I have to have the mega stuffed!! Equal ratio of cookie to cream=perfect! Go big or go home!! -- Words I live by haha0 -

me too! I take a workout bag to work (I go to the gym at work during lunch) and I take 1 outfit and a few pairs of socks/undies and that's it. By Friday the clothes are ready to get up and start walking off on their own. soo gross. I do leave them out to air dry after the gym though.
yuck.

What moron decided a 1/2 cup of ice cream should be a serving size?! It is an abomination! It is an affront to the ice cream fairy! It is an insult to the ice cream man (who, by the way, my husband has trained to park at the end of our driveway)!
It is! Also, who decided a 1/2 pack of instant noodles was one serving. I have never met anyone in my life who eats 1/2 pack of noodles and stops at that! What's more, people who are eating noodles are usually doing so by themselves (oh I'm having a romantic evening, I know I'll cook instant noodles - said no-one ever) and there's no way of sealing (or even measuring really) that tiny portion of flavouring. It's sheer lunacy.
I ate the whole pack of instant noodles.
I would actually make a pack and split it with my other half as PART of dinner. Like, Oriental flavored noodles with stir fry kind of thing. But, that's when I was pretty broke and had them in bulk. Haha.0 -

It is called What She left Behind by Ellen Marie Wiseman. Its about a young woman committed to an insane asylum in the 1930's by her father because she wouldn't marry who he wanted her too. Was so good I was sad when it ended
I'm going to add that to my Goodreads list. Sounds like it could be up my alley!
Me, too! I wonder if I order it off Amazon if it would arrive in time for my vacation?
ETA: I bought it and it's supposed to arrive by tomorrow. I love Amazon Prime! I also bought her other book, The Plum Tree, just because. Can't have too many books for vacation!
I have the kindle app for my tablet and Amazon has what is called Kindle Unlimited where for $9.95/month you can download up to 10 books at a time for that one price. Best thing ever!!
I also downloaded the Plum Tree . Going to start that one tonight lol
I've tried an e-reader. I just prefer real paper books...
I do too, generally. But I can ready 10 books on a week-long vacation, and that's just too hard to pack.0 -

Yay!! Is that it in the picture? Cause you look amazing
It is! POF requested a picture and I obliged.0 -

Sweeet! Congrats! My NSV this weekend was going to the amusement park and not having to skip rides or sit in the XL seating, if available. I was able to ride rides that I had not since 2013. Rides that I also could not fit their restraints even just a few months ago. Made me feel really good!
I'm "worried" about our trip to Hershey in a few weeks because I'm so much smaller than last time and I expect to get tossed around a bit more. Bruises shall be earned!0 -
You guys are all super great and I appreciate the kind words! I've dropped my goal to a half pound per week now that I'm closer to goal, which feels like a big step!0

Hope everyone had a good weekend! I went to the Seawall to check out the parade and fireworks show and got to enjoy all the food.
This was the star of the evening0 -

Regular Oreos are actually 53 cals according to MFP, but still, I eat Oreos for the filling.

I had to look it up but no. It was still really neat to see.

I bought a stationary bike a few weeks ago. I can only do 5-10 minutes on it. My shins and knees hurt so bad and that's all I can stand. I feel like such a failure, and I have gained back 10lbs of my 30-40 pound weight loss I was so proud of.0

And according to the package...
@BZAH10 We've missed you out here and you are SO right about the weight thing. I remember being 140 lbs and hating everything, I was depressed, and generally unhappy. But at 164 lbs, I loved how I looked and I FELT good at that weight. It might be out of the 'normal' BMI range but it's where I felt the best and why it is my goal weight!
@tsugrl04 Dont' stress it and give yourself time to work up your fitness level. Just focus on your calorie intake and take victories where you can get 'em. Remember, when you are doing SOMETHING, you are lapping every body on the couch.
@CountessKitteh You GO!
@funjen1972 I do the same Lay 'em out and wash 'em once a week. If I'm not pulling crazy 12 hour shifts I can wash 'em once every 3 days.
@Susieq_1994 Get better! You NEED that Fitbit and you have to earn it!
I KNOW I keep missing people but Sergeant Sexy Pants is expecting more out of me since he has seen what I am capable of outside of work. That means extra rounds and patrols on the campus and less time on the computers. I have sucky internet at the house so I can't seem to keep up.
Just know that you are all SUPER GREAT!0 -

I hate exercise. Like really hate it but I like to walk so I went out a got a fitbit and that really motivates me. Walking is also low impact so it shouldn't be so tough on your knees.0 -

Hi everyone!!! I'm surprised that there are so many pages to catch up on. I'm currently working on it.
I had a good birthday. I actually got a swimming suit and swam for the first time in a LONG time. I swam Friday and Saturday before the storms rolled in. I got to see fireworks Thursday, Friday and Saturday (I love fireworks). I was able to eat bbq, s'mores and had a lot of fun. I'm sad it is over.
My boyfriend did hang out with me from Thursday to Sunday. We got along well. Last night we decided to take a break and he is going to work on himself. I think it is a good thing. I finally think he understands how hurt my heart was/is. I'm feeling better at least.
Glad to hear it!
And super jealous, I am dying to go swimming and today was the only day it would have been hot enough this week and I was stuck at work all day!!0 -
@Italian_Buju thank you so much for sharing this.
i'm a hoarder. which i always have to quantify with "not like the ppl on the tv shows.". they should have a hoarders show where the person has 30 jars of tomato sauce, 20 boxes of pasta, 100 rolls of paper towels, 120 rolls of tp, etc. etc.
but as long as i keep my place relatively clean, instead of having a problem, i'm just a Super Couponer!
i have a complete and total inability to throw anything that could potentially "be needed or used" someday. i still have massive regret and get upset when i think about when i was a teen, my mom made me go through all my stuff and trash everything i didn't use or need. being an angsty teen i trashed everything that was remotely kiddish, and now i'd give anything to go back and save some of my childhood things.
so now....i have great difficulty trashing anything that could potentially trigger some type of memory. so then i think, well i'll just go through and do a major clean out, then i get that terrible feeling in my gut, what if one day i miss this purse? i used it when i was in london, and i loved that time so much! then back in the bin it goes and i have way more "stuff" any person my age should have. *sigh*0 -
May not be appropriate for @Susieq_1994!
Confession: I found out last night that a friend I used to work with has just been charged with second-degree murder of his wife, who has been missing since November. I'm having a hard time and am absolutely shocked, and still don't really believe it, even though the police quotes say he's been concealing the body at his home for the past 8 months. It just doesn't seem to compute at all against the person I remember.
Holy crap! That is all I can say......0
