I'm an Army wife. We've been married 6 years and he just hit his 12 year mark in the Army.
-
I have it and really like it. It's easy to use & the strap is comfy.

Are your muscles sore? Muscles retain water when they're sore/healing.
-
I'm the grand scheme of thing 1100 calories is 1/3 lb...actually less than that because you also have a deficit built in. Tomorrow's a new day, just do better tomorrow & don't dwell on today!

Hey there! is it too late to join? I'm an Army Wife of 6 years and an AF sister, my hubby just celebrated (well, I'm not sure that's the right word lol) his 12 year Army-versary. I'm getting re-motivated. I've been in a plateau for 5 months (barf!) but after a visit to the nutritionist today I'm hoping it won't last much…

Just start again the next day. I'm not planning on spending the rest of my life never indulging a bit. Just get back on track the next day and go from there.

Mindless snacking. I used to walk by and have a quickie without even thinking about it- but no more quickies for me. If I eat it, I log it so I have to think about it

Thanks guys, I did eat a couple of hours before we left and drank water before. I didn't take water with me but they have 4 water stations along the way that we stopped at in both directions. I didn't get enough water yesterday though...I just had a check up at the dr a couple of months ago so I guess I'll wait and see if…

Tell him you're too busy messing with his DVR to find someone new... :)

It varies. Sunday is a rest day, Monday usually 45 minutes, Tuesday usually 90 minutes, (45 of this is circuit training style weight training) Weds we walk/jog a 5.2 mile trail pushing a double stroller so it's getting shorter each time but usually just under 2 hours, Thursday, 45-90 minutes (depends on if I have stuff to…

pushing a stroller doesn't come close- it assumes you're just meandering down the road slowly with a single stroller with 1 child. I haven't found anything that's even close for my double stroller so until I got my HRM I just inputted a little less than double the time (so if we walked for an hour I'd put an 80 minutes)

4 months and counting. I've got an appointment to see a nutritionist on Friday. I'm hoping that helps.

I have the biggest loser cardio max and really like it, it has 3 levels which is nice because when I first started I struggled through level 1.
-
I started out with weight loss goals. 4 months into a plateau they've become fitness goals.
-
Short answer, yes- it gives your body time to heal and recover

oh yeah...Sat-Tuesday were bad days for me. Today's a new day though and I can't change the past all I can do is make better choices in the future. (although I don't consider one reasonably sized piece of cake a bad day...)

I have a membership to the local community center. There's a small weight room, small cardio room & 3 classes a day. It works great for me & it's only $22 a month!

What she said...

I have a ton of stretch marks. I swear as soon as the + appears on the pregnancy test I get a belly and get HUGE by the end (not just me thinking that either...by 6 months I was so big my dr started triple checking my due date at each appt and my baby was only 5lb3oz). I also had pre-e with both pregnancies and the water…

Either go up a size or get night time diapers. My youngest is a really heavy wetter and we have to use night time diapers when he sleeps & once he gets about to the middle of the weight range I have to buy the next biggest size.

Do you have a theme for the party?
-
Where does it hurt? What kind of pain is it? Does it hurt to put weight on it? Does it hurt to bend it? Did you feel a pop? You can try ice, or heat.
-
Just like you normally would but input what your HRM said in the calories spot. If your activity isn't in the database then click on the little button on the bottom to add it & then manually add your calories.
-
Greek Yogurt! You can also use it as a substitute for the cream cheese on your bagel.
-
I only went back a few days, but first glance...eat more! Your net calories is below 1000 most days. You need to feed your body so it feels confident that you'll continue to feed it & won't hold on to every ounce that it can!!
-
I can't drink water on an empty stomach or I get sick. I usually have a small-ish breakfast before I work out (greek yogurt with cereal, or a banana with peanut butter- just something).
-
a crockpot concoction of chicken, salsa, corn & black beans. Shortly before I serve it I'll stir in a bit of cream cheese (or maybe greek yogurt...I might try that in a little bit and see if that works instead!) for some creamy-ness. People can choose whether to have it in tacos or over rice.
-
Just to clarify...you should generally only wash the detachable strap...not the actual HRM part!!
-
I throw mine in the bottom of the shower with my knee brace about twice a week and then wash them both with baby shampoo.

I don't know the real reasons before it but I have my theory lol. I always feel like I'm less sore if I do cardio after weights. I think it might help get rid of some of the lactic acid build up.
